MIKE GENDRON: THERE ARE ONLY TWO KINDS OF FAITH

MIKE GENDRON: THERE ARE ONLY TWO KINDS OF FAITH

When you interact with any religious or spiritual person, you will discover that there are only two kinds of faith. One is trusting what the Lord Jesus Christ has DONE to save sinners; the other is trusting what man must DO to be saved. One faith recognizes that salvation is by grace alone; the other faith nullifies the grace of God by requiring good works (Rom. 11:6). One is gloriously revealed in Scripture, while the other is based on religious traditions that nullify or oppose the Word of God. One was demonstrated by the tax collector, who was so burdened by his sin that he cried out to God for mercy, the other was demonstrated by the proud self-righteous Pharisee, who boasted in what he was DOING (Luke 18:9-14).
The glorious promise of the Gospel is eternal, everlasting life. This divine assurance can be offered unconditionally because of all that Christ has DONE to save believers completely and forever. Yet, over half of “professing” Christians deny the assurance of eternal life because they have been deceived by “another” gospel. They have embraced a works-based salvation, which perpetuates the fatal lie that you must DO good works and perform religious rites and rituals to be accepted by God. They fail to understand that finite men, with their limited capabilities, could never cancel their own eternal sin debt. What man could never DO, the eternal Son of God has DONE. The eternal sin debt was nailed to His cross (Col. 2:13-14). Thus man’s only hope is to exchange his worthless religion for an eternal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Eternal security and the assurance of salvation can only be realized when a person’s faith is based on the Lord Jesus Christ alone and what He has DONE.
How will those who have been blinded by religious deception know what Christ has DONE? The Lord Jesus must be proclaimed as the all-sufficient Savior. This is the royal privilege and awesome responsibility of every Christian. We must proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His glorious light (1 Pet. 2:9). People will never know they are deceived until they are confronted with the truth. They will not seek a substitute to die in their place until they know they are condemned to death. No one will seek a Savior until they know they are destined for the torments of hell. They will not seek to be reconciled to God until they know they are separated from Him. No one will try to get on the narrow way that leads to life until they know they are on the broad way that leads to destruction. People can ever receive the righteousness of Christ as a gift until they are first stripped of their own righteousness.

No one will ever appreciate what the Lord Jesus has DONE until they come to the end of themselves and realize how hopeless and helpless they are to DO anything about it. Only then will they be willing to repent of all their dead works, which are an insult to the perfect, finished and sufficient work of Christ. May our Lord Jesus Christ receive honor, praise and glory for all that He is, and all that He has DONE to redeem His people!

He is the way for those who are lost (John 14:6)
He is the truth for those who are deceived (John 14:6)
He gives life to people who are spiritually dead (John 14:6)
He testified to the truth and truth seekers listen to Him (John 18:37)
He is the only one who can save sinners (Acts 4:12)
He bore His people’s sin in His body on a tree (1 Peter 2:24)
He makes believers perfect forever (Heb. 10:14)
He cancels the eternal sin debt of believers (Col. 2:13-14)
He reconciles believers to God (2 Cor. 5:18-20)
He redeems believers from the curse of the law (Gal. 3:13)
He saves His people from God’s wrath (1 Thes. 5:9)
He is able to save forever (Hebrews 7:25)
He gave His life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28)
He satisfied divine justice as a sacrifice for sin (1 John 2:2)
He shed His blood to purify His people from all sin (1 John 1:7)
He died once for all sins to bring believers to God (1 Pet. 3:18)
He offered one sacrifice for all sins for all time (Heb. 10:12)
He saved us from divine condemnation (Roman 8:1)
He delivered His people from the dominion of Satan (Acts 26:18)
He rescued believers from the domain of darkness and transferred       them into His kingdom (Col. 1:13)
In these days of growing uncertainty and anxiety over the global pandemic, we need to warn people that there is a much more hellish and fatal virus called sin that has infected every human being. The bad news is that there is nothing man can DO because there is no human cure. The good news is that there is a divine cure because of what the Lord Jesus Christ has DONE. Here is the greatest news anyone could ever hear from our Savior: “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life” (John 5:24).

DAVID CLOUD: WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING?

SEE: https://www.wayoflife.org/reports/what_in_the_world_is_happening.php;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:
We thank God for His revelation in Scripture. What compassion He has for sinners to give them His Word! What a light in a dark world! Apart from God’s Word,
we cannot know what is really happening. We cannot rightly understand even those things that we see and hear. We have no power to see the spiritual and
eternal things. They are hidden behind a veil that cannot be pierced by our physical senses and natural thinking. The scientists’ electron microscopes and space
telescopes cannot see them. The greatest thinkers cannot pierce that veil.

God’s Word tells us what is happening in spiritual realms behind the veil, and it gives us the wisdom to understand what men themselves are doing.

The devil is using the crisis to work out the mystery of iniquity, which is the plan to put his man on the throne of this world and to have all men worship him by that
man (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12). We see this plan moving forward by the increase in the power of government over men’s lives, by the advance of global government,
by the breakdown of the old religions and the spread of religious skepticism, agnosticism, and atheism, by global banking and a cashless society, by creating the
desire for a great leader, and many such things. We must understand, though, that the devil’s doings are under the hand of God and can only proceed as God allows.
God holds the reins of the times, and though the stage is being set for the devil’s man, he cannot come until the Restrainer be taken out of the way. “And now ye
know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out
of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8).

God is using the crisis to work out His eternal plan, which is that “in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both
which are in heaven, and which are in earth; even in him” (Ephesians 1:10). Every “time” or age in man’s history is a time that God made and in which God is
working out this glorious plan. Among the countless things that God is doing, He is using the coronavirus crisis to judge men of this world for their stubborn rebellion
to their Creator and their presumption that they can live independently of the One in whom “we live, and move, and have our being.” God is using the crisis as a
wake up call to His people and His churches, to chasten them for worldliness, to wean them from trusting in things other than God, to turn their focus to eternal
things, from partying and selfie-ing and social media-ing and the wasting of countless precious hours on vanity to surrender and obedience and holiness and separation. God is using the coronavirus crisis to remind men of their mortality and to bring sinners to repentance and saving faith in Jesus Christ. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). In our church, we have seen ten souls come to Christ in born again conversion during the lockdown. God is using the crisis to finish His business in this present age, which is to call out a people for His name among all nations. God is bringing things ever nearer to the next big event in His eternal program, which is the Rapture of the church saints, followed by the day of the Lord. Only He knows when this will happen. For God’s people, it is always “at hand.” The coronavirus pandemic and the strange global shutdown response is a big wake up call from God!

The communists are using the crisis to increase their totalitarian, God-usurping power over men’s bodies and minds.

The socialists are using the crisis to increase the power of government and their own power and to make people ever more dependent on government.

The anarchists are using the crisis to bring mayhem and destruction.

The indolent are using the crisis to get more handouts.

The lawless are using the crisis to increase their lawlessness.

The preppers are using the crisis to strengthen their prepper caves and store up more arms and to work themselves into a greater frenzy of fear-mongering.

The conspiratorialists are using the crisis to prove their pet conspiracies and to be consumed with them.

The global warming fanatics are using the crisis to push their myopic, mythical agenda.

The gullible think the crisis is simply about caring, selfless leaders who are saving people from coronavirus.

The hopeless are using the crisis as an excuse to commit suicide.

The covetous are using the crisis to get more wealth.

The redeemed of the Lord are using the crisis to stay focused on God’s will and the business He has given them, and to listen more intently for “the shout”!
The following solemn command of the eternal Son of God is in force until “the end of the world,” and that, my friends, has not yet come. “And Jesus came and
spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen” (Matthew 28:18-20).

RIOTERS BURN DOWN MINNEAPOLIS, BECAUSE “BLACK LIVES MATTER”~BUT NO ONE ELSE’S DOES~AIR BNB GIVES $500,000 TO BLACK LIVES MATTER & NAACP

So Minneapolis is on fire. Because as we all know by now, the best response to a black man being killed by the cops is to steal a big screen TV and burn down the local liquor store. It’s been nearly 6 years since Black Lives Matter got its start in the streets of Ferguson, Missouri. Six years, and they still can’t get their heads out of their own rear ends long enough to be marginally decent, let alone credible.

As we work to process the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others, we wanted to send a message to you directly. To hosts and guests who are hurting, angry, and scared, we want you to know that Airbnb stands with you.

Discrimination is the greatest threat to a community built on belonging and acceptance. It cuts to the core of who we are and what we believe in. Airbnb stands with Black Lives Matter, and we reject racism, bigotry, and hate.

We can’t talk about recent events without also acknowledging the painful truth that some hosts and guests still experience discrimination, something that is the very opposite of our mission to create belonging. In 2016, Airbnb launched our nondiscrimination policy and community commitment, and over 1.3 million people who declined the pledge have been removed from our platform. We still have work to do, and we’re continuing to take action on our commitment to fighting discrimination.

One way we’re doing that is by donating a total of $500,000 to the NAACP and the Black Lives Matter foundation in support of their fight for equality and justice, in addition to matching donations to both groups made from all of our employees. Another is sharing an Activism and Allyship guide that our Black employee resource group, Black@Airbnb, prepared for our team, which references work from activists and experts in antiracism. We thought it would be helpful to share these resources with you—as we all work together to become better and more active allies.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP IS A HERETIC FROM THE LEFT’S SECULAR RELIGION~THE REAL REASON WHY THEY HATE HIM

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP IS A HERETIC FROM THE LEFT’S SECULAR RELIGION~THE REAL REASON WHY THEY HATE HIM

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Donald Trump is a heretic. He is persecuted by the Church.

No, not any of the Christian Churches. For them, although few realize or will admit it, Donald Trump, the famous playboy womanizer, is the most pro-Christian President in recent memory. Trump is a heretic from the Leftist church, the secular religion of today’s political and media elites, and as such he must be treated as heretics were in the old days of the Spanish Inquisition: he must be burned at the stake. Actually, that’s inaccurate, as archaism is frowned upon by this religion’s clergy. He need not be burned at the stake, but by whatever means, he must be destroyed.

Although most people in the United States today still identify themselves as Christians, the dominant religion of those who have dominated the political arena, own the establishment media, and set the cultural tone for the nation is not Christianity, but Leftism.

Leftism is a religion without a being who is identified as god as such, except insofar as the atomized individual is exalted to deity status and its every whim canonized as tantamount to divine writ, but it is as rigidly dogmatic, as fervently held, and as fanatically divorced from rationality as the worst and most destructive religious manifestations in human history. It is also extremely influential and all-pervasive. Every President since Franklin D. Roosevelt, with two notable exceptions, has held to this religion to varying degrees, and in some way paid obeisance to its gods and made offerings at its altars.

The first exception was Ronald Reagan. Richard Nixon was virulently hated by the high priests of Leftism, almost as much as Trump is now, but as President, instead of fighting them, Nixon endeavored in numerous ways to show that he was as good a Leftist as those who were determined to drive him from office and destroy him. They were, obviously, not appeased. As is shown in the forthcoming Rating America’s Presidents: An America-First Look at Who Is Best, Who Is Overrated, and Who Was An Absolute Disaster, it was Reagan who was the first post-FDR President to blaspheme the Leftist religion by refusing to adhere to the Leftist dogma that the best way to deal with the Soviet Union was through the admixture of naïve self-abnegation and suicidal concession known as détente.

But Reagan, too, lit incense at the Leftist altars, opening the floodgates to millions of migrants, including all too many with little understanding of, much less love for, the founding principles of the American Republic, when he signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, also known as the Simpson-Mazzoli Act, on November 6, 1986. This act made it unlawful to hire people who had come into the country illegally, but also granted amnesty to virtually all illegal immigrants who had entered before 1982—some three million people.

It was left to Donald Trump to challenge the very religion of Leftism itself. The Leftist religion is fervently internationalist, believing that any and all manifestations of nationalism or patriotism are evil in themselves and a recrudescence of Nazism. Trump, by contrast, has repeatedly declared that as President he puts America first, refusing to be intimidate by ongoing efforts to discredit the America-First slogan, and the imperative behind it, as neofascist or racist. Never-Trump commentator William Kristol enunciated the Leftist dogma when he tweeted: “I’ll be unembarrassedly old-fashioned here: It is profoundly depressing and vulgar to hear an American president proclaim ‘America First.’”

As far as Kristol was concerned, the President of the United States should put the interests of the entire world first. This would involve sending American troops on “humanitarian” missions all over the globe, even when no conceivable American interest was involved. Economically, it would require the United States to tie itself into the global economy, another sacred Leftist dogma that Trump has rejected.

It doesn’t matter to the adherents of the Leftist religion that the coronavirus pandemic has shown why it is unwise to depend on China to manufacture anything that America needs. Their beliefs are not rational. Religious faith can be rational, but it often is not, and the Leftist religion is not rational. It is a set of feelings, and emotions, and manifestations of wishful thinking about the world that can be frankly dangerous when it collides with reality – as the coronavirus showed yet again.

But religious faiths can survive all manner of disconfirming evidence. And so Trump is a heretic, and nothing but a heretic, and as such he is persecuted. As far as Leftists are concerned, he must be destroyed, because if he is not, he will destroy their religion. This will be for them a fight to the death.

“Let me be clear about one thing: People are more important than property. Black Lives do Matter,” Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina declared.

Property is a capitalist abstraction to Marxists. It’s also someone’s home, someone’s livelihood, someone’s life. It’s what separates free people from serfs. The Left wants serfs and so hates the idea of property.

Governor Cooper, announcing in the middle of violent riots, that people’s property doesn’t matter when a Black Lives Matter mob is out there ransacking people’s stores, is an endorsement of the rioting, and an announcement that people will not be protected from the BLM mob.

Just to hammer that message home, Raleigh Police Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown declared, “I will not put an officer in harm’s way to protect the property inside of a building.”

It goes without saying that this is not about the lives of officers, but about giving the mob an all-clear to riot and loot.

A number of municipalities have done it officially, but in North Carolina, it’s official.

CHINESE STATE MEDIA EDITOR TAUNTS ABOUT RIOTERS IN AMERICAN CITIES~COMPARES THEM TO ALL HONG KONG PROTESTERS

CHINESE STATE MEDIA EDITOR TAUNTS ABOUT RIOTERS IN AMERICAN CITIES~COMPARES THEM TO ALL HONG KONG PROTESTERS

BY JOSEPH KLEIN

SEE: https://cms.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/05/chinese-state-media-editor-taunts-about-rioters-joseph-klein;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Chinese state media are having a field day exploiting the riots that have occurred in recent days in  Minneapolis and other cities across the United States led by a coordinated cadre of left wing radicals. These violent extremists have sought to hijack the peaceful protests by many well-meaning people outraged by the killing of an unarmed African-American, George Floyd, by a rogue ex-policeman. Chinese propagandists lump the peaceful protesters and the smaller number of dangerously violent rioters together as if they were part of one indistinguishable movement, in the same way as the ruling Chinese Communist Party treats all the protesters in Hong Kong.

Hu Xijin, the editor-in-chief of Chinese and English editions of the Chinese Communist Party-controlled Global Times, tweeted sarcastically, for example, “Secretary Pompeo, please stand with the angry people of Minneapolis, just like you did with people of Hong Kong.” Then, in a tweet aimed at President Trump after the president vowed to use force as necessary to deal with the violent riots, Xijin wrote: “Just three days after unrest broke out in Minnesota, Trump threatened the use of ‘shooting’ and announced the army supports the governor. I strongly condemn such threats. Please protect the people of Minnesota, just like you sympathize with Hong Kong thugs.”

News flash for Hu Xijin: President Trump and his administration are committed to protecting the American people’s right to conduct peaceful demonstrations while also protecting the lives and properties of innocent people from wanton acts of violence. The Chinese communist regime suppresses all dissent on the mainland, which it intends to do in Hong Kong.

“We have peaceful protesters and support the rights for peaceful protesters,” President Trump said on Friday. He agrees with the demonstrators that the brutal killing of George Floyd at the hands of the rogue ex-policeman, Derek Michael Chauvin, was inexcusable. On Saturday, President Trump called George Floyd’s death “a grave tragedy” that “has filled Americans all over the country with horror, anger, and grief.”

The video image of Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes as Floyd was lying helpless on the ground has sickened Americans of all races and backgrounds. The president said that he had spoken to George Floyd’s family and “expressed the sorrow of our entire nation for their loss.”

Chauvin was arrested Friday in Minneapolis on charges of third-degree murder and manslaughter. More serious charges may follow. Other police officers who stood by and did nothing are likely to face charges as well. The Department of Justice and FBI are investigating as a top priority the circumstances of the killing for possible federal prosecutions in the case.

Peaceful protests are as American as apple pie. However, when anger turns from peaceful protest to violence that harms innocent people, including African-Americans who have seen their places of business destroyed, the Trump administration has drawn a bright line. “We support the right of peaceful protestors (sic) and we hear their pleas,” President Trump said, “ but what we are now seeing on the streets of our cities has nothing to do with justice or with peace. The memory of George Floyd is being dishonored by rioters, looters and anarchists.” The president placed the blame for the violence on “Antifa and other radical left wing groups who are terrorizing the innocent, destroying jobs, hurting businesses and burning down buildings.”

The Chinese government and their Hong Kong police stooges make no distinctions between peaceful protesters and violent rioters. All the Hong Kong protesters, including young people peacefully holding signs, are lumped together by the Hong Kong police and their masters in Beijing as one monolithic mob of “thugs” and “terrorists.”

On May 28th, the People’s Republic of China National People’s Congress approved a resolution to devise and arbitrarily impose national security legislation on Hong Kong that would override Hong Kong’s Basic Law. As the Chinese government proceeds with drafting and implementation of such detailed legislation giving the Chinese state security agencies a green light to intervene directly against protesters in Hong Kong, the Tiananmen Square Massacre comes to mind.

On June 4, 1989, Chinese soldiers and police stormed Tiananmen Square, firing live rounds into a crowd led by students calling for democracy, free speech and a free press in China. Numerous protesters were killed, and thousands were reportedly arrested. The regime justified the Tiananmen crackdown as necessary to maintain stability and described its enforcers as heroes.

One of the protesters at Tiananmen Square who survived the brutal crackdown was none other than today’s prominent mouthpiece for Chinese government repression, Hu Xijin. Back in the day, Xijin “chanted slogans, joined in renditions of protest anthems like ‘L’Internationale’ and grew excited as he heard American radio broadcasts declare that democracy might come to China,” Todayonline reported. A year ago, by contrast, Xijin’s Chinese Communist Party-controlled  newspaper editorialized, “As a vaccination for the Chinese society, the Tiananmen incident will greatly increase China’s immunity against any major political turmoil in the future.” Now Xijin uses Twitter and his Communist Party-controlled media perch to push back against any critics of the regime’s plans to smother the remaining freedoms of the people of Hong Kong.

The Chinese “broke their word to the world on ensuring the autonomy of Hong Kong,” President Trump said on Friday. He announced new measures against Chinese interests and the removal of various policy exemptions that have given Hong Kong preferential treatment so long as it remains sufficiently autonomous from mainland China’s communist regime to warrant such preferences. “China has replaced its promised formula of ‘one country, two systems’ with “one country, one system,” President Trump said. The “one system” is the Chinese Communist Party’s dictatorship model – the repressive system that the dictatorship’s propagandist Hu Xijin rebelled against as a student at Tiananmen Square 31 years ago.

China’s United Nations Ambassador Zhang Jun strongly condemned efforts by the United States and the United Kingdom to convene a formal meeting of the UN Security Council last week to discuss China’s plans to assume direct control over Hong Kong’s security. “Hong Kong affairs are purely China’s internal affairs and allow no external interference,” Ambassador Zhang said.

China’s UN ambassador is wrong. The Chinese government’s plans to assume direct control over Hong Kong’s security without a free and fair vote by the Hong Kong people themselves violates Beijing’s obligations in the Sino-British Joint Declaration of 1984 and explicit provisions of Hong Kong’s Basic Law. The Joint Declaration is deposited with the United Nations as a formal treaty. The United Kingdom handed over to China jurisdiction of Hong Kong in 1997. It did so in reliance on China’s legally binding commitment under international law to respect the autonomy of the city and its residents for 50 years. The United States has provided Hong Kong with preferences in reliance on China’s adherence to its treaty obligations. The Chinese communist regime has evidently decided that 2047 is too long to wait before stripping the Hong Kong people of their freedoms.

On Sunday, the former Tiananmen Square protester-turned-Chinese communist regime mouthpiece, Hu Xijin, tweeted, “Vicious HK rioters obviously are mastermind of violent protests across the US.” Why isn’t Twitter as anxious to slap warning labels on Xijin’s scurrilous disinformation in his tweets as it is doing with President Trump’s perfectly legitimate tweets?

BLITZ: TRUMP WILL SMASH THE LEFT & WIN

BLITZ: TRUMP WILL SMASH THE LEFT & WIN

David Horowitz’s new book is a guide to the wars that are engulfing the nation.

BY J. CHRISTIAN ADAMS

SEE: https://cms.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/06/blitz-trump-will-smash-left-and-win-j-christian-adams;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

[David Horowitz’s new book, Blitz: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win, is published today, June 2, by Humanix Books: Order Here.]

When David Horowitz wrote his latest book Blitz: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win (Humanix, 2020) he didn’t know that ANTIFA-fueled mobs would be burning and looting cities across America, and even threatening the White House itself.  Then again, knowing how Horowitz understands the Left as well as anyone else in the conservative movement, perhaps he actually did anticipate the events of the last few days.

Blitz is the go-to recap of the first Trump term, from the first days of the so-called “Muslim ban” through a deconstruction of the “partisan impeachment,” as Horowitz labels it.

Blitz is a comprehensive reset at the end of the first Trump term. It is catalog of how we got here and how the Left have lost their minds over President Trump’s new way. Horowitz diagnoses the causes and effect of Trump Derangement Syndrome.  He also documents how Trump has thrived despite the unhinged hatred aimed at him.

One reason Blitz suggests Trump is unlike his Republican predecessors, is that he didn’t let personal attacks change his tactics.

Horowitz excels in structural apologetics.  He is skilled at describing the architecture that separates order from chaos, barbarianism from civilization.  His own background makes this an especially good read.  Horowitz grew up around communist radicals and watched them firsthand, including their violence and mob tactics, Horowitz is in a place few are.

Blitz puts the battle between Trump and the radical Left in that frame.

The Left is always trying to erode our structures, and Horowitz noted they started with Trump even before he was sworn in when hundreds of leftist leaders met in a Washington D.C. hotel to plot the resistance – including the radical now-Attorney General of Minnesota Keith Ellison. One of those structures that sustain us is an acceptance of election results as legitimate.  But that wasn’t going to happen with Trump.  From Blitz:

The most striking feature of the Resistance and its rejection of a legitimately elected president was its departure from the political tradition established by the constitutional framers over 230 years earlier. The most pressing fear of those framers was the threat that political factions posed to a democracy. They were conscious of the fact that historically, democracies such as classical Athens had split into rival factions that eventually tore them apart and led to their demise.

And so the day after the inauguration, the nasty woman marched, with their pink hats and venom toward the new President.  The “Presidential honeymoon” Horowitz describes as essential to American stability was tossed out by the Left on day one.  He notes that even seventy members of Congress refused to attend the inauguration.

The structures that sustain America were under attack, right from the beginning of Trump’s term.

Horowitz decodes the Tweeting Trump, and describes the phenomena of something bigger and more important – the willingness to confront foes.  On Hillary:

Deferring to Hillary Clinton as a female, as Republicans prior to Trump had done, allowed her to hide behind a veil of gentility while she launched a one-woman witch hunt against them, calling Republicans racists, sexists, deplorables, and so on. It took a Trump to look her in the eye with seventy million people watching during one of the presidential debates and say, “You are a liar and a crook,” which she was both. Everybody knew it, but only Donald Trump dared to utter it out loud.

The most fascinating part of Blitz is Horowitz getting to the essence of what makes Trump unique, effective, and so unfamiliar to the political establishment. Trump took a wholly opposite approach than most politicians.

Trump noticed that most politicians use speech either to hide what they really think or to win love and support.  Trump represents something revolutionary and unfamiliar to the political classes.  Horowitz says that instead of trying to win support or hide what he thinks, he uses speeches, statements and Twitter “to define the truth.”

He is describing the world as he sees it, and how events fit into that flow.  Trump isn’t trying hide his true belief; he isn’t trying to win support.  He’s just describing the world as he sees it.  Horowitz describes it in action, and why it works.

It showed how, by standing up to the attacks from the left, Trump was able to thrive despite their slanderous labels of “racist” and “hate monger.” It’s inconceivable that, say, Paul Ryan or Jeb Bush would have stood their ground against the “racist” smears. They would have been steamrolled by the viciousness of the left and quickly apologized for any “offense” given.

Trump’s response illustrated a basic strategy that has served him well on the political battlefield: When attacked, strike back. Strike back hard. Harder than they hit you. Use the facts concealed by political correctness, and the language of moral indictment, which progressives resort to all the time.

Trump knows there are millions of Americans who are weary of political correctness and what it has done to undermine America and conceal the truth.

This is most obvious when Trump went right at the Democrat’s stranglehold over urban African-Americans, and it worked.  He called Baltimore infested.  When Baltimore Congressman Elijah Cummings called him a racist, Trump highlighted video of Cummings calling his own district infested. Calling Trump a racist doesn’t affect him like it had Republicans before him.

In Blitz, Horowitz catalogs where we are, and how we got here since election night 2016.  He inventories the fake scandals, the Democrat’s derangement, the sell out of the American economy to China, and what really motivates Trump.

Trump is leaving his mark on the Republican Part in a way very few of his GOP predecessors could:

Democrats have approached politics as a form of war conducted by other means, while Republicans have entered the political arena as pragmatists and accountants. But the siege of Donald Trump has begun to create a new Republican Party, passionate and combative in defense of a leader they believe has stood up for them, and—equally important—who exceeds them in his appetite for combat.

It is this willingness to fight that Horowitz emphasizes is so central to the new conservative movement in the age of Trump.

Blitz leaves readers with the “Nine Biggest Dangers to American from the Anti-Trump Left.”  By my count, six of them have been roaming the streets of Minneapolis and other major cities this weekend burning and looting.  “Resistance, Attacks on America’s Heritage, and Identity Politics” are but a few featured in Blitz that fuel the riots and chaos in American cities. You can always count on Horowitz to identify, catalog and define the infrastructure on the Left that desires to remake the greatest nation in history into their progressive utopia.

Blitz is a sharp guide to where we are as a nation, and what we face in the upcoming election. It is a handy inventory of the worst that has happened since election night 2016, and why it is that Trump has survived, all the while remaking the art of American politics.

A Florida sheriff has a stark warning for rioters tonight: if you fan out to the suburbs to loot, you will likely be shot by residents.

The Lakeland Police Department Sheriff Grady Judd issued a statement on the heels of Polk County declaring a local state of emergency on Monday, warning rioters to stay away from the neighborhoods because residents value the Second Amendment.

“We have received information that some of these criminals were going to take their criminal conduct into the neighborhoods,” Judd said. “I would tell them, if you value your life, they probably shouldn’t do that in Polk County.”

So, leave the community alone.”

Judd pointed out that most of the rioters are organized and not local residents who “came here for nothing but to create problems.”

The sheriff went on to express his sympathies about George Floyd’s death but said that the riots have distracted from Floyd’s wrongful death at the hands of Minneapolis police.

“All of that ugliness has taken away from what we’re united about,” Judd said. “We’re united about the conduct that you saw with George [Floyd].”

78 MEMBERS OF CONGRESS SUPPORT HHS RULE PROTECTING HEALTHCARE WORKERS WHO DECLINE TO PERFORM ABORTIONS

78 MEMBERS OF CONGRESS SUPPORT HHS RULE PROTECTING HEALTHCARE WORKERS WHO DECLINE TO PERFORM ABORTIONS

BY HEATHER CLARK

WASHINGTON — Numerous state attorneys general and 78 members of Congress have signed on to amicus briefs supporting a new rule issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that aims to protect the conscience rights of medical professionals who have objections to assisting with abortions or physician-assisted suicides.

HHS was sued last year by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who led a coalition of nearly two dozen other states, as she asserted that the “Conscience Rights in Health Care” rule is discriminatory and “a gross misrepresentation of religious freedom.” The abortion giant Planned Parenthood and the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association sued to challenge the protections as well.

In November, a federal judge struck down the measure, opining that the rule is unnecessary and too rigidly places states at jeopardy of losing federal funding for non-compliance with the conscience protections.

“The Department’s regulations are a recent chapter in this country’s ‘long history of providing protections … on the basis of religious beliefs and moral convictions,’” wrote Ohio Attorney General David Yost in a recent amicus brief to defend the rules as the case now rests in the hands of a federal appeals court.

“That history actually begins with the states. By the time the federal Constitution was ratified, all but one of the original thirteen states already had constitutional protections for religious freedom,” he noted.

“Because the challenged regulations expand the opportunities for Americans to exercise their inherent natural right to liberty of conscience, the amici states support the regulations’ implementation.”

Those joining him in the brief include Attorneys General Steve Marshall of Alabama, Christopher Carr of Georgia, Daniel Cameron of Kentucky, Timothy Fox of Montana, Douglas Peterson of Nebraska, Jason Ravnsborg of South Dakota, Mark Brnovich of Arizona, and Sean Reyes of Utah.

Read the states’ brief in full here.

“Congress has a longstanding bipartisan tradition of enacting legislation that promotes the rights of those whose conscience precludes participation in certain controversial actions,” reads a separate brief signed by 78 members of Congress.

“Consistent with that tradition, Congress has repeatedly passed legislation shielding individuals and organizations from being forced to violate their consciences by performing, participating in, or referring patients for certain procedures, including abortion, sterilization, and physician-assisted suicide. … These laws recognize our society’s deep disagreement over these important issues and, consequently, aim to prevent recipients of federal funds from infringing on First Amendment conscience rights.”

It contends that Congress has made clear for half a century that both governmental and private entities cannot receive federal funding if they discriminate against those that refuse to perform or assist with controversial procedures.

“HHS should be allowed to enforce this statutory prerogative,” the brief argues.

Signees include Sens. James Lankford, R-Okla.; Tom Cotton, R-Ark.; Kevin Cramer, R-N.D.; Tim Scott, R-S.C.; Ben Sasse, R-Neb.; James Risch, R-Idaho, and Cindy Hyde-Smith, R- Miss., along with Reps. Ralph Abraham, R-La.; Andy Harris, R-Md.; Larry Bucshon, R-Ind.; Neal Dunn, R-Fla.; Mark Green, R-Tenn.; John Joyce, R-Pa.; Roger Marshall, R-Kan.

Read the Congressional amicus brief in full here.

As previously reported, HHS issued the “Conscience Rights in Health Care” rule last May, which was to have taken effect in November 2019.

“This rule ensures that healthcare entities and professionals won’t be bullied out of the healthcare field because they decline to participate in actions that violate their conscience, including the taking of human life,” Office of Civil Rights (OCR) Director Roger Severino said in a statement. “Protecting conscience and religious freedom not only fosters greater diversity in healthcare, it’s the law.”

The updated rule provided clarification on existing federal conscience protection laws as passed by Congress, and required healthcare entities to keep records documenting compliance with such statutes, as well as to to submit certifications to HHS that they are indeed following the law.

OCR said that the rule was necessary as some remain confused about whether or not federal or state laws require individuals to participate in abortions or sterilizations, despite the existence of protections such as the Weldon Amendment and the Coats-Snowe Amendment.

“For instance, some advocacy organizations have filed lawsuits claiming that federal or state laws require private religious entities to perform abortions and sterilizations despite the existence of longstanding conscience and anti‐discrimination protections on this topic,” the department outlined in its rule explanation.

“A patient also sued a secular public hospital for accommodating doctors’ and nurses’ religious objections to abortion in alleged violation of a state law, Washington’s Reproductive Privacy Act,” it stated.

However, several lawsuits were soon filed against the new rule, including a legal challenge led by New York Attorney General Letitia James. More than a dozen other states joined the complaint, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado and Oregon.

California filed its own lawsuit separately, as did the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association.

“The federal government is giving health care providers free license to openly discriminate and refuse care to patients — a gross misinterpretation of religious freedom that will have devastating consequences on communities throughout the country,” James said in a statement. “When the health of our residents is at stake, and the safety of vulnerable populations hang in the balance, we cannot rest until this ‘health care refusal’ rule is stopped.”

She opined that the rule would especially adversely affect those who identify as homosexual and transgender.

In November, Judge Paul Engelmayer, an Obama nominee, struck down the rule in finding that it could pull the rug out from under states that had anticipated federal funding but ended up losing it due to noncompliance with the new regulation.

“A state that has organized its programs (e.g., its Medicaid program) in anticipation of a promised outlay of funds could find all its HHS funding streams cut off for its failure to adapt,” Engelmayer worried. “The state, however, had no way to know at the time it accepted such funds that HHS would later claim the right to close these spigots based on a breach of a Conscience Provision.”

“HHS, in this litigation, admitted that only a tiny fraction of the complaints that its rule invoked as support were even relevant to the Conscience Provisions,” he also wrote. “HHS’s central factual claim of a ‘significant increase’ of complaints of Conscience Provision violations is flatly untrue. This alone makes the agency’s decision to promulgate the rule arbitrary and capricious.”

Read the ruling in full here.

The case is now on appeal before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to numerous state attorneys general and members of Congress, former Sen. Daniel Coats and Rep. David Weldon — after which the Coats-Snowe and Weldon Amendments are named — themselves have filed an amicus brief in support of the HHS protections.

TRUMP VOWS TO DESIGNATE ANTIFA AS A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

TRUMP VOWS TO DESIGNATE ANTIFA AS A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

Cross state lines to riot and you’ll be prosecuted, Barr promises.

After days of bloody rioting and looting across America, the U.S. government “will be designating ANTIFA as a Terrorist Organization[,]” President Donald Trump announced on Twitter.

The tweet came after Antifa, Democratic Socialists of America, Black Lives Matter, and other America-hating radical leftist groups seized on the opportunity of the May 25 death of George Floyd, a black man who perished after then-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into the suspect’s neck for almost 9 minutes, an event captured on video that quickly went viral. The in-custody death video became a recruiting tool for agitators.

George himself had been detained by police after a report he tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a local establishment. Why Chauvin, assisted by other officers, used so much force on a suspect who was already under control has not yet been explained.

Ultra-violent Antifa, a revolutionary communist-anarchist militia movement that aspires to forcibly overthrow the United States government, has gained new prominence in the post-Obama era. Adopting fascistic tactics, they trace their roots back to Nazi Germany. Although they opposed the Sturmabteilung (SA), or Nazi storm troopers going back to the Weimar era, like the SA they also used violence to intimidate political opponents and break up their meetings and rallies. It could be argued that the ideological distance between Antifa and the now-defunct National Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated as NSDAP) or Nazi Party, is so slight it could be measured in millimeters.

Antifa is not typically thought of as a single organization: it is a movement or coalition of leftist groups, each of which claims to combat “fascism,” a political ideology whose definition academics have been arguing about for decades. The word Antifa itself is a truncation of anti-fascist.

Antifa operates under a twisted working definition of fascism, labeling mainstream conservatives fascists and lumping them in with white-supremacists and neo-Nazis. All cops can be deemed fascists as representatives of the supposedly evil capitalist system unless perhaps they declare their “allyship.” It is fair to say that true fascists are hard to find in the U.S. today – except in the fantasies of Antifa and radical hate groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The president’s tweet came at 12:23 p.m. on May 31, after days of unrest and insurrectionist violence in: Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota; Los Angeles; Seattle; Portland, Oregon; Denver; Phoenix and Tampa, Arizona; Des Moines, Iowa; Milwaukee; Kansas City; Oklahoma City; Salt Lake City; Chicago; Detroit; Fargo, North Dakota; Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis; Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Atlanta; Wilmington, Delaware; Richmond, Virginia; Columbia, South Carolina; Miami and Jacksonville, Florida; and in Washington, D.C., both downtown and in front of the White House itself.

Curfews have reportedly been imposed in Minneapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and elsewhere.

California, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin have all reportedly activated their state national guards to restore order.

A few hours after the initial announcement, Trump took to Twitter to urge Democratic mayors and governors, who have largely been letting angry mobs run wild in the ongoing orgy of leftist violence, to “Get tough … These people are ANARCHISTS. Call in our National Guard NOW.”

The Antifa terrorist-organization designation is something conservatives and other patriots have been awaiting for years. President Barack Hussein Obama wouldn’t do it no matter how much havoc the so-called anti-fascists wreaked during his term. Few Democrats have even been willing to denounce Antifa because the party’s base is in love with these supposedly romantic, Che Guevara-like, bathing-averse revolutionaries who want to slit the throats of Republicans (and quite a few Democrats, as well).

Sen. Tim Kaine, a Virginia Democrat who was Hillary Clinton’s running-mate in 2016, has long been sympathetic to violent street radicals. He even uses Leninist phrasing when discussing political activism, saying those on his side must “fight in the streets.” Not surprisingly, in March 2017, Woody Kaine, his son, was part of an Antifa assault on Trump supporters in the rotunda of the Minnesota Capitol. Young Kaine fought with police as they tried to arrest him for lobbing a smoke bomb. His father was no doubt proud.

Unfortunately, a few Republican squishes have also had kind words for Antifa. The late Sen. John McCain of Arizona, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah, all embraced Antifa after the violent unrest in Charlottesville in 2017.

But President Trump is no squish.

Neither is U.S. Attorney General William Barr.

On Saturday, May 30, Barr said he will not hesitate to use federal legislation to prosecute those who cross state lines to participate in organized upheaval.

“We must have law and order on our streets and in our communities,” he said.

Barr blamed the violence in Minneapolis and elsewhere on “far-left extremist groups,”

“Unfortunately, with the rioting that is occurring in many of our cities around the country, the voices of peaceful protests are being hijacked by violent radical elements,” he said. “In many places it appears the violence is planned, organized, and driven by far left extremist groups and anarchic groups using Antifa-like tactics.”

The same day, President Trump said the U.S. military was “ready, willing and able” to deploy if unrest continued.

And justice will be done, Barr vowed.

“The outrage of our national community about what happened to George Floyd in Minneapolis is real and legitimate. Accountability for his death must be addressed, and is being addressed, through the regular process of our criminal justice system, both at the state and at the federal level. That system is working and moving at exceptional speed. Already initial charges have been filed. That process continues to move forward. Justice will be served.”

Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch spoke for many conservatives when he praised the Trump administration for taking aim at the dangerous subversives of Antifa.

“Antifa has been engaging in terrorism and seditious conspiracy for years[,]” Fitton tweeted.

“But FBI and DOJ were too busy to care much, their leadership engaging in their own seditious conspiracy against the presidency @RealDonaldTrump. Glad to see that AG Barr is beginning to get back to basics.”

AG Barr Ramps Up Pressure on Antifa Following National Riots

BY BOB ADELMANN

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

After another night of riots that have spread across the nation, on Sunday Attorney General William Barr issued a statement urging state and local governments to increase pressure against Antifa “and other similar groups.”

He explained:

With the rioting that is occurring in many of our cities around the country, the voices of peaceful and legitimate protests have been hijacked by violent radical elements. Groups of outside radicals and agitators are exploiting the situation to pursue their own separate, violent, and extremist agenda.

It is time to stop watching the violence and to confront and stop it. The continued violence and destruction of property endangers the lives and livelihoods of others, and interferes with the rights of peaceful protestors, as well as all other citizens….

Preventing reconciliation and driving us apart is the goal of these radical groups, and we cannot let them succeed.

It is the responsibility of state and local leaders to ensure that adequate law enforcement resources, including the National Guard where necessary, are deployed on the streets to reestablish law and order. We saw this finally happen in Minneapolis last night, and it worked.

Barr has plenty of resources available, including “our existing network of 56 regional FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF).… The violence instigated and carried out by Antifa and other similar groups … will be treated accordingly.”

The threat is real, said Dan Bongino on Fox & Friends on Sunday. A former NYPD officer and Secret Service agent, Bongino has friends inside law enforcement who have confirmed to him that “known Antifa leadership is … organizing” the riots. Said Bongino, “This is not some run-of-the-mill criminality by people who have nothing to do on a Saturday night.… This is a sophisticated insurrection-type attack.”

Columnist and former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy thinks Barr has all the tools he needs in stemming the violence and ending the insurrection. Wrote McCarthy for Fox News:

I’ve investigated and prosecuted terrorists — jihadists who adhered to foreign terrorist organizations but operated domestically.… I can tell you that the laws we already have are more than adequate to the task.

There is no need for new laws. Calls to enact them are either ill-conceived or the usual case of preening politicians sensing the need to look like they’re doing something in response to a crisis.

Would McCarthy be referring to the Tweets from President Trump? On Saturday the president tweeted, “Crossing State lines to incite violence is a FEDERAL CRIME! Liberal Governors and Mayors must get MUCH tougher or the Federal Government will step in and do what has to be done, and that includes using the unlimited power of our Military and many arrests. Thank you!”

This was followed by a second Tweet by the president on Sunday: “The United States of America will be designating ANTIFA as a Terrorist Organization.”

Except that he can’t, says McCarthy. Such an action “would permit the surveillance of Americans in the absence of probable cause.”

Wrote McCarthy:

According to President Trump and his most ardent supporters, he is a “disruptor” here to shake up established Washington ways.

Nevertheless, in announcing that he will “designate” Antifa, the far-left radical movement, as a terrorist organization, he is pulling a page from the Swamp’s playbook.

It is political rhetoric portrayed as legally significant action to bring to heel an array of sociopaths that, to be sure, are playing their now familiar instigator’s role in the rioting that roils American cities.

[The president’s] purported designation would be pointless, in that the means of taking aggressive enforcement action against Antifa, and against domestic terrorism generally, are plentiful and ready to hand.

The president’s move would also be legally invalid because, under federal law and for very sound reasons, [that] designation is available only for foreign terrorist organizations.

Antifa is a domestic enterprise.

THE MINNEAPOLIS DISASTER HAS DEMOCRAT FINGERPRINTS ALL OVER IT~THEY OWN IT; IT’S THEIRS

BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

After leftist riots killed an African-American Federal Protective Service officer, caused severe injuries, destroyed businesses and vandalized churches and synagogues across Democrat cities, some difficult questions are being asked about what Democrat elected officials could have done to prevent this.

Mayor Bill de Blasio blamed President Trump for the violent riots that consumed New York City as well as many other cities across the country. “The President of the United States help create this atmosphere,” he falsely claimed. “It doesn’t matter what your party affiliation is. It doesn’t matter what you think of President Trump, there’s been an uptick in tension and hatred and division.”

On MSNBC, Rep. Maxine Waters also argued that President Trump was to blame, “He has disparaged blacks in so many ways. All that stuff about loving blacks is so disingenuous. Nobody believes that. He’s such a liar. He cannot be trusted. And yes, I think he has emboldened those who are racist. He’s emboldened police officers to be nastier, tough, to do things like the chokehold. I believe all of that.”

Washington D.C. Mayor Bowser tweeted that she stands with the protesters besieging the White House, “While he hides behind his fence afraid/alone, I stand w/ people peacefully exercising their First Amendment Right after the murder of #GeorgeFloyd & hundreds of years of institutional racism.”

Despite these false claims by Democrat politicians, the riots were and are purely a Democrat product.

The Democrats chose to support Black Lives Matter and to coddle Antifa. Minnesota’s Attorney General Keith Ellison had previously posed with a copy of Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook, touting it as “the book that strike fear in the heart of” Trump. Now Ellison has been tweeting conspiracy theories that blame the riots on “white supremecists”. But, the only white supremacists on the scene are Democrats.

Minneapolis’ last Republican mayor stepped down in 1974. While his city burned, Mayor Jacob Frey, a Biden supporter, attacked President Trump, whining, “weakness is refusing to take responsibility for your own actions, weakness is pointing your finger at someone else in a time of crisis.”

That’s exactly what Frey and the Democrats have been doing in the face of the riots. Frey, a former community organizer, had repeatedly tweeted support for the Black Lives Matter racist hate group that is carrying out much of the violence. Instead of taking responsibility, Frey is blaming President Trump.

Chief Medaria Arradondo was handpicked by Frey’s predecessor as the city’s African-American police boss after the shooting of Justine Damond, an Australian woman reporting a crime, by Mohammed Noor, a Somali Muslim officer. Arradondo replaced Janee Harteau, the first female chief of the force.

Arradondo, like Harteau, came into office promising transformational change. He had already sued the city for racial discrimination, winning a huge settlement, and had all the right buzzwords about diversity and equity.

“I’m committed to making sure that when the history is written, we are on the right side of history,” he declared at his first press conference, echoing Obama.

That’s the police force on whose watch the Floyd riots began.

This national nightmare came out of a deeply progressive city, under the administration of progressives, and happened under elected Democrat officials who embodied the progressive vision for America.

George Floyd and the resulting riots are entirely the work of their hands.

“Why is the man who killed George Floyd not in jail?” Mayor Frey demanded. “We cannot turn a blind eye, it is on us as leaders to see this for what it is and call it what it is.”

It’s an odd question for the mayor of the city to ask.

In 2006, Wayne Reyes had allegedly “stabbed his girlfriend and a male friend” and went on the run. When police caught up to him, he stepped out of his vehicle with a shotgun, and police officers, including possibly Officer Derek Chauvin, the officer seen kneeling on Floyd in the viral video, fired.

As a number of outlets have noted, Senator Amy Klobuchar was, at the time still the Hennepin County attorney, but had already won her Senate race, and showed no interest in prosecuting the officers.

Klobuchar had served as the Hennepin County Attorney from 1998 through 2006. Officer Chauvin had been on the force since 1999 and was there for almost all of Klobuchar’s eight years on the job. Michael Freeman, Klobuchar’s successor, is the son of the former Governor Orville Freeman, and has tried to run for his father’s old job. After being elected to a sixth term, Freeman promised to focus on voting rights for felons, decriminalizing marijuana, and other pro-crime policies popular with progressives.

Democrats could not have asked for a friendlier and more progressive prosecutor on the job.

Chauvin, has had a dozen conduct complaints filed against him, and was hit with a letter of reprimand, and all of this was going on while Chief Janee Harteau had built the most diverse team to head the Minneapolis Police whom, she described as, “experienced, dedicated, professional and progressive and they share my core values.” It was such a progressive leadership team that her assistant went on to head the University of Minnesota Police Department. But all this progressivism failed its most basic test.

While the Minneapolis Police bosses were touting their progressive values to their DFL overlords, Freeman was talking about criminal justice reform, and Klobuchar was prepping a presidential bid, Chavin kept racking up complaints and no one was paying attention. Not even the head of the force, who had come up through internal affairs, but wasn’t actually interested in running the police force.

Democrats had mismanaged the Minneapolis Police, the same way that they had mismanaged Minneapolis. Every time something happened, the leadership got a shakeup and became more diverse, but nothing meaningful was actually happening on the ground floor except new messaging.

Klobuchar and Freeman had seen the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office as a stepping stone to higher office. And they spent their time virtue signaling to lefties, instead of actually doing their jobs.

The diverse leadership of the Minneapolis Police understood that they were there to provide cover after each incident, even at the cost of their jobs, for incompetent DFL figures like Mayor Jacob Frey. No one bothered with the nitty gritty attention to detail that’s the essence of managing any institution. Everyone was too busy laying out grand progressive visions and looking for the next step up the ladder.

And now America is on fire and they’re blaming President Trump for creating the atmosphere.

Trump didn’t create the atmosphere in Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, or any other blue city. Generations of Democrat mayors, as chronicled in John Perazzo’s The New Shame of the Cities, fouled the civic air, tainted the cultural water, and have been happy enough to blame the riots on Republicans.

The Democrats created the atmosphere. They spilled the gasoline, lit the match, and are still too busy signaling their virtues and blaming Republicans, to do the hard work of putting out their own flames.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa are their organizations. The Minneapolis city authorities and the police force bosses are also their people. The atmosphere was the undiluted work of the Democrats. And with the pandemic fading, they dug into their old playbook and decided that it was time for a new crisis.

After locking down the country didn’t work, the Democrats decided to set it on fire instead.

Rep Ilhan Omar On BLM Riots In Her District:

‘Our Anger is Just. Our Anger is Warranted’

Ilhan Omar

@IlhanMN

I am heartbroken.

Horrified at the needless death of George Floyd, another innocent black man murdered by police in our community.

Frustrated that we keep finding ourselves in this position as a city.

Angry that justice still seems out of reach.

A suspected looter has been shot dead outside a pawn shop after protests over the death of George Floyd descended into chaos Wednesday night and rioters vandalized stores across the city.

Minneapolis Department Police Chief John Elder confirmed in a midnight press conference that one person was shot and killed and that another person was being held in custody.

Elder said officers had responded to reports of a possible stabbing at around 9.25pm between Bloomington and Lake Street.

The body of a man – who medics later confirmed had been shot – was found lying on the sidewalk outside the Cadillac Pawn shop by police officers who performed CPR on him.

Stores including Wendy’s, Target, Walmart and AutoZone were looted, ransacked and some set alight before rioters tried to bust open an ATM, as many ignored pleas from the Floyd family’s lawyer and Minnesota Governor Walz to protest peacefully Wednesday night.

Videos showed what was reported to be an apartment building entirely engulfed by flames as rioters stood and watched and the fire department was nowhere to be seen. An AutoZone store was also one of those which was set on fire.

Outside a GM Tobacco store, a group of four men with huge firearms were seen and said they had come to protect local businesses from looters,

During the riots, a woman in a wheelchair was punched in the head and sprayed with a fire extinguisher after trying to block protesters – allegedly with a knife in her hand.

Elder said that ‘everything was done that we could do to try to preserve this man’s life’ but the adult male died in hospital.

The police chief refused to confirm reports that the shooter was the owner of the pawn shop who shot the victim dead because he was looting his store.

He said this was ‘one theory’ but that police are investigating ‘a couple of different scenarios that might have happened’.

Elder would not divulge what the other scenarios are. He added that there had been no other reports of injuries among protesters or police officers.

The police chief also slammed the actions of looters and rioters which he branded ‘disrespectful’ to Floyd’s family and to all the protesters who gathered peacefully to demand justice over his death.

‘If people are there to truly honor the man and his family this isn’t how you do it and it’s so disrespectful and it’s heartbreaking,’ he said.

‘People are utilizing this as a purpose just to make bad decisions.’

A source told KSTP that the city has requested support from the National Guard to bring the violence under control.

It comes as:

  • A video was widely shared on social media on Tuesday showing white officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for eight minutes as he pleads to be released before eventually losing consciousness and later dying
  • Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Minneapolis later that night demanding justice for the 46-year-old, leading to confrontations with police officers firing rubber bullets
  • Four Minneapolis police officers involved in Floyd’s arrest were fired on Tuesday after initially being placed on paid administrative leave
  • Four fired police officers are named as Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, Tou Thao, and J Alexander Kueng
  • Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey called on prosecutors Wednesday to arrest and charge Chauvin
  • New video footage casts fresh doubt on claims Floyd resisted as two officers are seen manhandling and forcibly removing him from his car and he appears to be complying with officers
  • Floyd’s family demanded police officer Chauvin be charged with murder, and the other three officers involved charged as murder accomplices
  • A protest started in the streets of downtown LA Wednesday night over Floyd’s death with one man being taken to hospital after he fell from a moving police cruiser
  • Minneapolis protesters escalated into violence Wednesday as cops and protesters clashed and stores including Target, AutoZone and Walmart were ransacked and set on fire by looters
  • A looter was shot dead in Minneapolis Wednesday night and officers had arrested a man for homicide

News of the death topped off a night of chaos and destruction across the city as rioters stripped shelves bare, set fire to stores and tried to break into a bank.

Footage on social media showed car parts company AutoZone up in flames as people were seen hurling rocks through its windows.

Another structure, said to be a new apartment building, was filmed as flames entirely engulfed it and made it collapse.

With the fire department initially nowhere to be seen, reports on social media said they were being forced to stay away because of the violent rioters.

Stores and building near the fire were being splashed with water by citizens in an effort to stop the flames spreading. They were pictured filling buckets from fire hydrants.

Fire fighters were then seen spraying buildings including the Schooner tavern which had also caught fire.

At the Target store near the site of Floyd’s arrest, the inside of the store lay in ruins, with stock depleted of all goods and the remaining merchandise flung across the floor.

Witnesses reported thieves using power tools to break open cash registers and trying to access the store’s safes, before it too was set alight and seen engulfed in flames.

Rioters then turned to a Wendy’s where they sprayed graffiti on the walls before moving onto a bank – trying to bust it open and raid the ATMs.

A woman in a wheelchair was also punched in the head and sprayed with a fire extinguisher after trying to block protesters – allegedly with a knife in her hand.

The woman claimed she was ‘peacefully protesting’ to stop people from looting a Target store, but she was quickly set upon by a crowd who subdued her.

The crowd outside the Target store shouted that the woman had a knife, and footage showed her holding what appeared to be a sharp object.

Named online as Jennifer, she later said she had been ‘punched in the head several times’ before others tried to restrain her.

Footage of the violent clash has been widely shared on social media, including by conservative writer Andy Ngo.

A group of four men with huge firearms were seen outside a GM Tobacco store as they said they had come to protect local businesses from looters, reported Minnesota Reformer.

The vigilantes called themselves ‘heavily armed rednecks’ as they stood guard outside the businesses.

Disorder erupted in the streets of the city on the second day of the rally over Floyd’s death, after footage emerged Tuesday showing white police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on the black man’s neck moments before he died in police custody.

Floyd is heard pleading with Chauvin, saying ‘please, please, I can’t breathe’ and ‘My stomach hurts. My neck hurts. Everything hurts’ while witnesses urged the arresting officers to stop.

Cops were seen spraying pepper spray into the crowds and outraged Minnesotans threw metal railings at the windows of the police precinct as the two groups clashed on Wednesday.

This followed chaotic scenes at Tuesday night’s protest where demonstrators were seen dousing their faces in milk to limit the effects of the tear gas and desperately fleeing the hail of rubber bullets raining down on them.

Protester falls from the hood of a moving police cruiser as violent Black Lives Matter demonstration breaks out in downtown Los Angeles

A protester was thrown from the hood of a police cruiser in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday night as a Black Lives Matter demonstration calling for justice for George Floyd turned violent.

About 1,000 protesters descended on LA following the 46-year-old father-of-two died in Minneapolis Monday, moments after a white cop knelt on his neck for eight minutes until he passed out.

As protests entered their second day in Minnesota, tensions began building between law enforcement and African-American communities across America, with demonstrators calling for the four officers involved in Floyd’s death to be charged with murder.

The first break-off protest sprung up in downtown LA Wednesday afternoon and quickly escalated into violence.

Shocking aerial footage shows several protesters surrounding a California Highway Patrol cruiser and smashing its back windows on the 101 Freeway.

One protester clambered on the hood before tumbling to the ground when the police officer drove off. The man was seen lying motionless on the ground and covered in blood, but he did regain consciousness and was taken to hospital in an ambulance.

A second police cruiser that arrived at the scene was also attacked, had its windows smashed and was seen fleeing.

The march rally began near the Hall of Justice at around 4p.m. local time before protesters marched through the streets toward the area of Temple.

People carried signs reading ‘Black Lives Matter’.

The group then made its way onto the 101 Freeway where they blocked cars along the road. The freeway was forced to shutter.

By around 6.25pm local time, the crowd began moving off the freeway and continued moving through downtown LA streets, reported NBC Los Angeles.

The protest came hours after Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore issued a statement condemning the video of Floyd’s death as ‘incredibly disturbing’.

Authorities claimed Tuesday that Floyd had resisted arrest by cops, however footage from the scene has cast doubt on the version of events as it appears to show the 46-year-old father of two cooperating with officers as he is manhandled out of his vehicle and placed in handcuffs outside the Cup Foods grocery store on 38th and Chicago Ave in south Minneapolis.

The release of the MFD report sheds yet more light on Monday’s shocking events, detailing that fire crew were called to assist medics with a man – called ‘pt’ in the report – who had trauma to his mouth.

It states that Fire Station 17 of Minneapolis arrived at the scene outside the Cup Foods store to find ‘multiple squads on scene and small crowd of citizens’.

The report points to confusion at the scene as neither the cops nor bystanders gave information to medics on Floyd or his location.

Protesters hold up their hands at the scene. An incident report from the Minneapolis Fire Department released Wednesday shows the fire department was called to reports of a man with trauma to his mouth and reached the scene to be told by witnesses that cops ‘had killed the man’

It says that while the crew tried to find Floyd to give medical support, they overheard and were told by ‘several people that the police “had killed the man”‘.

The report adds that the bystanders were ‘upset but not unruly’.

Crew members were finally able to find a cop inside the store who told them medics had put Floyd in an ambulance and left the scene.

Crew members were also told by an off-duty firefighter who witnessed the end of the struggle that they had seen Floyd become unresponsive on the ground while handcuffed and subdued by cops, the report says.

Medics then called for assistance and the crew responded to the ambulance which had moved to 36th and Park Avenue.

Two crew members got into the ambulance where they found ‘an unresponsive, pulseless male’, the report states.

Governor Walz broke protocol in his daily coronavirus briefing Wednesday to talk about the ‘tragic events’ in Minneapolis Monday and to send his ‘deepest sympathies’ to Floyd’s family.

‘Like so many Minnesotans and so many people across the country and world I was shocked and horrified by the video of George Floyd’s death,’ the governor said.

‘It’s very clear to anyone that what happened to George Floyd is wrong,’ Walz said.

‘The lack of humanity in the video as I said made me physically ill and is even more difficult to understand.’

An autopsy has not yet been completed, officials said.

CALIFORNIANS OBJECT TO ISLAMIC CALL TO PRAYER OVER LOUDSPEAKERS AT 4:30AM~NOW THEY’RE REALLY WOKE

Diversity is being duly celebrated in the Los Angeles area these days, as neighbors of the King Fahad Mosque in Culver City are now treated to what Barack Obama called the most beautiful sound in the world, the Islamic call to prayer, blared over loudspeakers five times a day, beginning at 4:30AM. And lo and behold, some Culver City residents have had the temerity, the audacity, the unrestrained “Islamophobia,” to complain about the noise. As Greta Thunberg might say, How dare they? Don’t they know they live in California, and that California is the most woke of states?

It’s likely that most of the people who were complaining were Leftists who, in other contexts, would denounce concern about jihad violence and Sharia oppression as “Islamophobia” and “bigotry.” So now they have what they have wanted and enabled. They should be very proud. They can get up at 4:30 every morning and celebrate diversity.

This is happening all over the world, notably in the United StatesCanada, and Germany: cities are amending or ignoring their noise ordinances to allow the Islamic call to prayer (adhan) to be broadcast over loudspeakers. Officials in Europe and the U.S. have explained this as an effort to comfort Muslims who in quarantine because of the coronavirus; however, none of those who have offered this explanation seem to have made any efforts to comfort Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, or anyone else.

Yet the implications of this broadcast call to prayer, beyond the expected hosannas from the usual proponents of globalism and multiculturalism, are ominous. The adhan, prayed in Arabic, repeats “Allahu akbar” six times, “I testify that there is no god but Allah” three times, and “I testify that Muhammad is Allah’s prophet” twice.

Dr. Gavin Ashenden, former chaplain to the British queen, who resigned his position in protest against a Qur’an reading in a Scottish church, observed that “the Muslim call to prayer is a dramatic piece of Islamic triumphalism. It proclaims Islam’s superiority over all other religions, and in so doing casts Jesus in the role of a charlatan and a liar. The Muslim god, Allah, is unknowable and has no son. Jesus was, therefore, a fraud in claiming He and the Father are one.”

Is Culver City really wise to broadcast repeatedly a declaration of the superiority of Islam, a faith that directs its adherents to make war against Christians and other non-Muslims and subjugate them as inferiors under the hegemony of believers (cf. Qur’an 9:29)?

Is Culver City wise to broadcast the cry “Allahu akbar,” beloved of jihad terrorists the world over? Chief 9/11 hijacker Mohammed Atta wrote this in his letter to himself before carrying out his jihad mission: “When the confrontation begins, strike like champions who do not want to go back to this world. Shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.” This is why the Fort Hood jihad killer, Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted it as he shot thirteen Americans in November 2009, and why so many other jihadis have used it essentially as an announcement that non-Muslims are about to die.

In light of the use of so many elements of the adhan by jihad terrorists, Culver City residents who have been victims of jihad violence may not find the sound of it so comforting. And some clearly just don’t like the noise, which is unnecessary even from an Islamic standpoint. Mosques didn’t have loudspeakers in Muhammad’s time, and don’t need them now, especially given the fact that everyone has a smartphone that could quite easily alert him or her to prayer times. The broadcasting of the adhan over loudspeakers is nothing more than a declaration of supremacism.

But Culver City is far too woke to take any notice of that, and the residents’ concerns about the noise will be dismissed out of hand as “Islamophobic.” Culver City authorities, meanwhile, are no doubt certain that Muslim communities in the city will be grateful, and will redouble their efforts to become loyal, productive citizens, marching together with non-Muslims in California into the glorious multicultural future. That’s the way it will work out. Isn’t it? No Muslims will take seriously the adhan’s declarations of Islamic superiority and heed the Qur’an’s calls to wage war against unbelievers. Will they? In multiculti California today, such an idea is inconceivable!

USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Multiple major US cities were left burning after so-called “protesters” took advantage of the death of George Floyd at the hands of one rogue cop, to destroy, steal and burn private and public property.

Instead of peaceful protest calling for change, we had organized agitators, teenagers, and criminals take advantage of a heartbreakingly tragic situation to rob, loot, and destroy, then burn post offices, banks, retail stores, fast-food restaurants, and liquor stores.

Lost in all of this was any mention of George Floyd, but we heard plenty of incoherent foul mouth laced rants against President Donald Trump as Secret Service Agents were hit in the head with bricks as they pushed back crowds in front of the White House.

None of this had anything to do with the death of Mr. Floyd as the cop filmed killing George has already been arrested and charged with murder in record time. And the FBI, DOJ, state and local authorities are all investigating the filmed death.

A Storm is Here

Each of the cities engulfed in flames last night are Democratically controlled strongholds with weak Mayors and Governors. They all have allowed this chaos and destruction to go on without enforcing the law or sending in the police or national guard to stop this madness, all in the name of letting “protesters” blow off steam. When in our lifetimes have we ever seen an American police station abandoned and allowed to be looted and burned. I hope no one was locked in the cells!

Where is the national leadership of the Democratic party? Not a single one of them has come out in condemnation of the law-breaking looters? On the Republican side, we have only seen a few including Texas senator Ted Cruz call them out for what they are, criminals thugs!

We saw the deep states’ attempt at a soft coup in the case of Michael Flynn against Donald Trump. It seems that the peaceful transition of power has disappeared from our nation, and we are seeing a trial run of their next attempt at a hard, violent coup to change America into the United Communist States of America forcibly.

We now see the future response we can expect from Democrats and their thug allies when they lose the election in November…again. This time it appears that rather than crying and screeching, they are intent on destroying and burning America.

The past few nights should be a wake-up call for anybody who believes in law and order and the decency towards their fellow Americans. We have heard this time and again that “this election is the most important one” well, it appears now we’re at another election battle for the soul of our country, so be prepared to vote.

And as always stay heavily armed, trained, dangerous, and prepared to defend our way of life and our Constitution. God bless the USA! We are going to need it.

You add heat, humidity, probably months of more physical inactivity than usual because of social isolation and distancing, and now you mask up, it’s certainly going
to make it a lot more difficult to breathe, which can lead to further respiratory complications. You also have a better chance of overheating when you’re wearing
a mask when it’s this hot outside. Our body has several methods and mechanisms to help cool themselves down, sweating, etc. But one of them is through
breathing out hot air, so if we’re, one, increasing our work of breathing because we’re breathing through a mask in the heat and the humidity, and then we’re
unable to exhale hot air, then certainly overheating can occur.

HAMAS LINKED “CAIR” DEMANDS THAT TWITTER SUSPEND ACCOUNTS OF WHITE HOUSE & PRESIDENT TRUMP

Hamas-linked CAIR’s Edward Ahmed Mitchell said that “no one should be surprised that the man who praised neo-Confederates, neo-Nazis and other armed white militants is now smearing and threatening unarmed black protesters.”

This is a lie. Actually, it’s two lies. Trump didn’t praise “neo-Confederates, neo-Nazis and other armed white militants,” as you can see here. And he didn’t threaten “unarmed black protesters,” or anyone else but looters, whom he said would encounter a strong response.

Note also that Fox 17 refers to Hamas-linked CAIR as “the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization,” which is what CAIR calls itself. Have you ever seen Fox or any other establishment media refer to an organization that opposes jihad violence and Sharia oppression in the exact words it uses to describe itself? Fox’s Adrian Mojica doesn’t see fit to tell you that CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim “Honest Ibe” Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. CAIR’s Hussam Ayloush in 2017 called for the overthrow of the U.S. government. CAIR’s national outreach manager is an open supporter of Hamas.

Why the silence on all that, Mr. Mojica?

“Council on American-Islamic Relations calls for Twitter to suspend President’s account,” by Adrian Mojica, Fox 17 News, May 29, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

WASHINGTON, D.C.–The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is calling on Twitter to suspend President Donald Trump’s Twitter account and for the Minnesota National Guard to ignore any orders of violence against protesters.

CAIR is the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization….

CAIR National Deputy Executive Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell released the following statement on the matter:

“President Trump’s threat to shoot ‘thugs’ for ‘looting’ in Minneapolis was a blatantly racist call to violence worthy of Bull Connor.

“As despicable as President Trump’s words were, no one should be surprised that the man who praised neo-Confederates, neo-Nazis and other armed white militants is now smearing and threatening unarmed black protesters.

“The Minnesota National Guard should publicly affirm that it will not obey such unlawful orders, and Twitter should suspend the accounts of both the White House and President Trump for posting this racist threat of violence.”

CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS SIDES WITH LIBERAL JUSTICES, AS SUPREME COURT RULES AGAINST CHALLENGE TO STATE LIMITS ON CHURCH ATTENDANCE

n a 5-4 decision from the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday, a request from a California church that challenged the state restrictions on attendance at religious services during the coronavirus pandemic was rejected.

Conservative Chief Justice John Roberts joined the court’s four liberals, turning away the appeal brought by the South Bay United Pentecostal Church in Chula Vista, California.

The church argued the California Governor Gavin Newsom’s state limits on the number of people who could attend church service violated their constitutional right to religious freedom.

On May 25, Newsom issued an order that houses of worship “limit attendance to 25 percent of building capacity or a maximum of 100 attendees, whichever is lower.” The church said they were expecting 200 to 300 people to gather for their Sunday service.

The court’s ruling was its first attempt at balancing religious freedom during the public health crisis. The Supreme Court has ruled in a number of cases challenging state responses to the coronavirus, including the primary elections in Wisconsin and relocation of prisoners in Texas and Ohio.

“Although California’s guidelines place restrictions on places of worship, those restrictions appear consistent with the free exercise clause of the First Amendment,” Roberts wrote in a concurring opinion.

He said the limits in place were similar and less severe in comparison to “secular gatherings, including lectures, concerts, movie showings, spectator sports and theatrical performances, where large groups of people gather in close proximity for extended periods of time.”

In a dissenting opinion, Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh said that the restrictions violated the First Amendment by discriminating places of worship.

“The church and its congregants simply want to be treated equally to comparable secular businesses,” Kavanaugh wrote.

Quoting from an appeals court decision in a different case, Kavanaugh wrote: “The state cannot ‘assume the worst when people go to worship but assume the best when people go to work or go about the rest of their daily lives in permitted social settings.’

Lower courts in California had also previously turned down the church’s request.

The brief, filed May 23, asked the Supreme Court to block a ruling from the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, in San Francisco. In an unsigned opinion, the majority of the three-judge panel wrote: “We’re dealing here with a highly contagious and often fatal disease for which there presently is no known cure.”

The Supreme Court also rejected an second case from two churches in Chicago that argued Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s limit of 10 worshipers at religious services discriminated houses of worshipers.

Newsweek reached out to the U.S. Supreme Court for comment but did not hear back before publication.
