50 women from 50 states take action with their legislators to protect their 2nd amendment rights

That is what law-abiding Americans sound like asserting their Second Amendment rights. The hearing on so-called “assault weapons” drew a line in the sand. The Democrats want your president, they want you taxed to death, and they want your guns.Leading the charge…politicians who know little to nothing about firearms.Larry Elder, writing for Real Clear Politics, asks, “How many are saved every year by guns?”Almost all national survey estimates indicate defensive gun uses by victims are at least as common as offensive uses by criminals, with estimates of annual uses ranging from about 500,000 to more than 3 million per year.Twenty years ago economist John Lott, author of “More Guns, Less Crime,” and his research partner wrote: “We find that allowing citizens to carry concealed weapons deters violent crimes and it appears to produce no increase in accidental deaths. If those states which did not have right-to-carry concealed gun provisions had adopted them in 1992, approximately 1,570 murders; 4,177 rapes; and over 60,000 aggravated assaults would have been avoided yearly.”The Democrats lean on totalitarianism as a solution, a solution to increase their power and control. The left’s totalitarianism is why we need to protect our Second Amendment rights now more than ever.
(Friday Church News Notes, September 27, 2019, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) – Rutgers Presbyterian Church in Manhattan is on the radical side of the one-world church. It brings together Presbyterians, Roman Catholics, Jews, New Agers, even atheists around the themes of social justice and saving the earth (“What Draws Atheists, Jews and Catholics to a Presbyterian Church,” New York Times, Sept. 6, 2019). The congregation is involved in such things as climate change activism, homosexual rights, and Black Lives Matters. Tibetan Buddhist prayer flags adorn the church, and visitors can choose from a variety of buttons to wear declaring their “gender identity: he/him, she/her, they/them.” One female attendee, Clare Hogenauer, appeared some years ago in Times Square topless to protest the death penalty. She told the New York Times that she does not consider herself a Christian, but she does “believe Jesus was a good guy.” When she shares her health issues with the congregation, she doesn’t ask for prayers. The one-world church is a big house with many rooms, and the walls are permeable. Evangelicals are in a different part of the house, but they share some fundamental things with Rutgers, particularly an emphasis on social justice and kingdom building and a judge not philosophy. A Rutgers’ member said that the church is constantly thinking about “ways to make the world right,” and, “It’s not just through proselytization and pointing fingers, but by working.” They all misinterpret Matthew 7:1, “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” (See The Judge Not Heresy, a free eBook available from www.wayoflife.org.)

(Friday Church News Notes, September 27, 2019, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) – The following is excerpted from “Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) Reveals Their True God,” ReformationCharlotte.org, Sep. 16, 2019: “The Sviatovid sculpture placed in the sanctuary of a New York Presbyterian church is a modern artistic rendition of an ancient Pagan god unique to Eastern Europe and was worshiped as the god of war. The sculpture, which is placed in the sanctuary of Binghampton Presbyterian Church in New York, is on display during a festival called the Luma Festival. According to the sculpture’s website, Sviatovid ‘is inspired by both a ninth-century Slavic deity, and a medieval sculpture of the same name. Sviatovid is a fifteen-foot-tall faceted totem.’ … The festival claims that the purpose of the sculpture is ‘in keeping with the deity’s origin story, Sviatovid is on an intercontinental expedition to bring people closer together.’ … The Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) mainline denomination is long apostate and has completely abandoned the true God of the Bible in favor of LGBTQ inclusion, feminism, and social justice.”

“Mo. man pleads guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS,” by Amber Ruch, KFVS, September 24, 2019 (thanks to Robert):COLUMBIA, Mo. (KFVS) – A Missouri man pleaded guilty to trying to provide material support to people he believed were members of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham.They were actually undercover law enforcement.Robert Lorenzo Hester, Jr., 28, pleaded guilty on Monday, September 23.Hester has been in federal custody since his arrest in February 2017. He is a U.S. citizen and was enlisted in the U.S. Army for less than a year, receiving a general discharge from service in mid-2013.By pleading guilty, Hester admitted that from October 2016 to February 2017, he tried to provide material support to ISIS, knowing that it was a designated foreign terrorist organization that engages in terrorist activity.According to the plea agreement, multiple confidential sources reported to the FBI that Hester had posted a variety of material on multiple social media accounts. He said he had converted to Islam, expressed animus toward the United States and posted photos of weapons and the ISIS flag, among other material. In order to assess whether Hester was a security threat, the FBI began investigating, starting with an examination of whether and to what extent he would engage directly online with confidential sources working for the FBI, and later with FBI employees working undercover.FBI employees working undercover communicated with Hester via social media, texting and personal meetings on several occasions. They say he would say the U.S. government should be “overthrown” and he suggested “hitting” the government “hard,” while noting that it would not be “a one man job.”Hester identified categories of potential targets for attack, including “oil production,” “military bases,” “federal places,” “government officials” and “Wall Street.”He specified that “[a]ny government building in DC would get attention of everyone.” He said he wanted a “global jihad.”Citing his brief enlistment in the Army, Hester also claimed proficiency with “assault weapons” and said that his favorite firearm was the AK-47 rifle. He talked about the perceived ease in which one could gain access to a military base.According to investigators, Hester had a willingness to act on the statements he made online. An undercover FBI employee talking to him offered an in-person meeting with a like-minded “brother.” Hester agreed to meet and did meet on several occasions with a person who was described as, and Hester believed was, a terrorist operative. In reality, the person was an undercover employee of the FBI….
