Dearborn, Michigan, nicknamed “Dearbornistan,” is the U.S. city with the largest percentage of Arab Americans. The Arab-American National Museum (AANM) is located in Dearborn because, its director said, “Dearborn is the heart of Arab-America.” The majority of these Arab American residents are Shiite Muslims from south Lebanon and Iraq. The Islamic Center of America in Dearborn is the largest Shiite mosque in the United States. 
Dearborn was also the hometown of Henry Ford, the auto industrialist whose factories attracted Arab immigrants to Dearborn in the 1920s. “Palestinian Muslims arrived in the second decade of the 20th century, attracted by the prospect of work on the assembly lines that produced Ford’s revolutionary Model ‘T’,” according to a report in the National. While Ford was heralding the arrival of Arab immigrants to this country to work in his factory, he was also widely spreading his virulent anti-Semitic blood libel.
However, the mayor of Dearborn today, John B. O’Reilly, Jr. (pictured above), wants to sugarcoat the unpleasant part of Ford’s biography dealing with his many anti-Semitic writings and pronouncements. Mayor O’Reilly decided to ban the distribution of a city-financed historical journal containing an unflattering article about Henry Ford’s record of anti-Semitism that the mayor deemed to be too much of a “distraction” for Dearborn’s “diverse” population. He also severed the city’s ties with the editor of the publication and long-time Dearborn resident, Bill McGraw, who had written the article to educate Dearborn residents today regarding their hometown hero Ford’s “dark sides.”
Mr. McGraw’s article ran afoul of the mayor’s politically correct speech code. “It was thought that by presenting information from 100 years ago that included hateful messages — without a compelling reason directly linked to events in Dearborn today — this edition of The Historian could become a distraction from our continuing messages of inclusion and respect,” Mayor O’Reilly said in a statement issued last Friday. Although Mr. McGraw’s article can still be read online, Mayor O’Reilly’s moves to block the distribution of Mr. McGraw’s article and to sever the city’s ties with him were punitive acts that most likely violated the First Amendment.
The mayor claimed that Ford’s anti-Semitic views were old news, no longer relevant to today’s “diverse” Dearborn population. The exact opposite is true. Ford’s writings are just as popular with some white nationalist extremists today as when they inspired Adolf Hitler. Ford’s writings also appeal to Jew-hating Islamists. His hate speech against the Jews’ aspirations for a state of their own in the Holy Land has a sympathetic audience amongst Dearborn’s current Arab-American and Muslim population.
“The Zionist propaganda has always been accepted on the assumption that Palestine is the Jews’ land and that they only need help to go back,” Ford wrote in his publication entitled The International Jew: The World’s Foremost Problem. “It is an historical and political fact that Palestine has not been the Jews’ land for more than 2,000 years.” As for Jews emigrating to the Holy Land to escape religious persecution, Ford decried what he described as the “propaganda of pogroms” disseminated by Zionists.
Some of those protesting against Israel in Dearborn today have lauded the terrorist organization Hezbollah. They believe, like Ford, that Jews have no legitimate historical claim to the land of Israel. They have regularly chanted, in celebration of a massacre of Jews in the days of Prophet Mohammed, “Oh, Jews, remember Khaibar. The army of the Prophet will return.” 
Mayor O’Reilly channeled Ford’s pro-Arab anti-Zionism when he joined a protest rally in December 2017 consisting mainly of Dearborn’s Muslim community. They had gathered to denounce President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The mayor declared that he stood with the Palestinian community and shared their goals. A child was photographed at the rally holding a sign stating succinctly what the Palestinians stand for: “Ending Zionism Ends Racism!!!”
Dawud Walid, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Michigan, and Imam Elahi, spiritual leader at the Islamic House of Wisdom, were amongst the anti-Israel speakers at the rally attended by Mayor O’Reilly.
“We’ve seen the same protests in European enclaves from throwback, bigoted anti-Israel racists, especially in areas with large Muslim populations,” former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann told WND. “Politicians in Dearborn and Europe who represent these anti-Semites continually cater to and appease the racist, bigoted views of their newest, often foreign-born voters,” she added.
Imad Hamad, American Human Rights Council’s executive director, said in a release issued to announce the rally that “one can be a part of the problem or a part of the solution. President Trump’s provocation on Jerusalem has made many countries in the world, regrettably, perceive the U.S. as a big part of the problem.” Hamad himself is the real provocateur who has used the Jerusalem issue as a pretext to delegitimize Israel’s very existence. He displayed his true beliefs last June when he joined other Arab American and Muslim community leaders in a news conference to denounce Israel. They expressed their support for Palestinians demanding return to their villages in Israel “from which they were uprooted by Israeli terror in 1948.” Such a mass “return” of millions of so-called Palestinian refugees, most of whom were born years after 1948, would mark the end of the Jewish state of Israel. 
Yet in the face of such incendiary anti-Israel rhetoric Mayor O’Reilly still believes that Hamad and his organization play a constructive, problem-solving role. Last October, months after the news conference, the mayor praised Hamad for looking at issues from a perspective of bringing people together and achieving consensus. Once again, the mayor decided to appease today’s anti-Semites.
Mayor O’Reilly has been making excuses for Islamists for years.  As far back as 2007, he delayed a public announcement of the arrest of a Muslim medical student and Dearborn resident, Houssein Zorkot, who was found in a public park dressed in fatigues and armed with a fully loaded AK-47. The mayor was worried, in his words, that “this would have turned into a story about terrorism. That’s not the kind of tone we want to set.” What kind of tone did this mayor want to set? Did he think that an armed individual sympathetic to Hezbollah, who had uploaded to his website on the day of his arrest an image that included a photo of a soldier holding a rifle, with the caption “The Start of My Personal Jihad (in the US),” was just engaging in some harmless fun?
In 2010, Mayor O’Reilly justified the arrest of three Christians while they were answering questions from children and others attending the Arab International Festival in Dearborn. He had decried what he viewed as the Christians’ “attack on the City of Dearborn for having tolerance for all religions including believers in the Koran.” In the spirit of Sharia law, the mayor thought the sensibilities of the “believers in the Koran” outweighed the Christians’ First Amendment rights to express their own religious beliefs in public. He had to eat crow after the Christians were acquitted.
It is time for Mayor O’Reilly to eat some crow again. He should either reverse his decision regarding Bill McGraw’s article on Henry Ford’s anti-Semitism and reinstate Mr. McGraw, as officials with the Dearborn Historical Commission have urged, or he should resign his office. Henry Ford’s brand of anti-Semitism has no expiration date. To deliberately whitewash Ford’s anti-Semitic history is to say that exposing anti-Semitism no longer matters.  But it does matter more than ever, including most especially in Dearborn.

WASHINGTON — During his State of the Union address on Tuesday night, President Trump expressed a desire to “build a culture that cherishes innocent life,” and urged the passage of a bill that would ban abortions later in a woman’s pregnancy when children can feel pain. Reaction to his remarks have been mixed as some have denounced Trump’s words, asserting that his characterization of the New York abortion law was misleading, while others have said that his legislative goals should have gone further to outlaw abortion altogether.
“I am … proud to be the first president to include in my budget a plan for nationwide paid family leave, so that every new parent has the chance to bond with their newborn child,” he declared, receiving applause.
Trump then segued his comments about mothers and their newborns to the abortion bills that are the center of discussion in recent weeks.
“There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our nation saw in recent days. Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth,” he said.
Trump was referring to the New York Reproductive Health Act that, as previously reported, not only enshrines the right to abortion in state law, but allows allows for abortion past 24 weeks—and without limitation—if the baby is not expected to survive or in instances deemed necessary to “protect” the life or health of the mother.
“Every individual who becomes pregnant has the fundamental right to choose to carry the pregnancy to term, to give birth to a child, or to have an abortion,” the Reproductive Health Act reads in part. “A health care practitioner … may perform an abortion when … the patient is within twenty-four weeks from the commencement of pregnancy, or there is an absence of fetal viability, or the abortion is necessary to protect the patient’s life or health.”
As previously reported, the law language reflects the 1973 Supreme Court ruling of Roe v. Wade, in which Justice Harry Blackmun, nominated to the bench by Republican president Richard Nixon, wrote, “If the State is interested in protecting fetal life after viability [written in the ruling to be as early as 24 weeks], it may go so far as to proscribe abortion during that period, except when it is necessary to preserve the life or health of the mother.”
However, some have stated that the term “the health of the mother” is a broad catchall, and point to the Supreme Court case of Doe v. Bolton, which explained that “medical judgment may be exercised in the light of all factors—physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and the woman’s age—relevant to the well-being of the patient. All these factors may relate to health.”
A number of OB/GYNs and nurses nationwide have also spoken out on such concepts in light of the New York law, stating that an abortion is never necessary for the health or life or the mother as an emergency C-section will be performed instead in an effort to save both mother and child.
“These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world,” Trump commented on Tuesday.
He then told those gathered that “[t]o defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.”
The Republican half of the room rose to their feet in cheers, but those on the Democratic side largely remained seated.
“Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life,” Trump said. “And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth: all children, born and unborn, are made in the holy image of God.”
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo released an op-ed on Wednesday accusing the president, along with the “religious right,” of purposefully lying about the abortion bill that he signed into law last month.
“As part of their attack on women’s rights, Mr. Trump and his allies are intentionally spreading lies about New York’s Reproductive Health Act,” he wrote. “Their goal is to end all legal abortion in our nation.”
Cuomo noted that the law allows for abortion past 24 weeks “only when a woman’s life or health is threatened or at risk,” and asserted that it is “ridiculous” to believe that the legislation “will allow abortions up to a minute before birth.”
“But these objections aren’t about the rare occasion when a woman has an abortion to protect her health or life. This is about the desire of Mr. Trump and allies on the right to outlaw abortion entirely. It is about bringing America back to the pre-Roe days,” he said.
“Restrictions on abortion later in pregnancy prevent health care providers from giving their patients the best care possible. I trust my patients; I trust women,” tweeted Leana Wen, the president of Planned Parenthood, in response to the president’s words.
Others opined that Trump should have gone further with his goals and condemned all abortion, not just those instances allowed later in the pregnancy due to the mother’s health—which have been refuted as not necessitating an abortion, but rather a C-section.
“Allow us to translate: ‘To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the murder of only some people, based on arbitrary, discriminatory criteria,’” wrote the organization Abolish Abortion North Idaho.
“If the fact that [the baby] can feel pain is the reason used, then why not simply give the babies anesthesia first prior to killing them? The fact that a baby can feel pain is not the reason it should be illegal to murder them by way of premeditated abortion (the planned homicide of unborn babies),” the Facebook page Pro-Life Rocks also remarked.
“The reason it should be illegal to murder unborn babies by way of premeditated abortion (the planned homicide of unborn babies) is because they are uniquely developing human beings from the point of when the woman’s egg is fertilized …”
Some said that while they wished the president sought to completely end the murder of the unborn, they commended Trump for at least speaking out on the subject.

It is hard to imagine the depths of evil that must be in these callers’ hearts in order to enable them to do this. But those who held sex slaves in the Islamic State believed that they were on the side of righteousness, fulfilling Allah’s command to take “captives of the right hand” as “spoils of war” and use them as sex slaves (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30).

Former ISIS sex slaves, who were given sanctuary in Canada, are again living in fear after being bombarded by voicemails and texts threatening rape and murder.
Five women and one 14-year-old girl have filed reports with York Regional Police. The victims are all Yazidis who survived an ISIS-led genocide in Iraq in 2014.
They have handed over to police recordings of the phone calls and screen grabs of the texts, which reference the Islamic State and include pictures of beheadings and armed Jihadis.
W5 has listened to the phone calls. In one, a man laughs as he says in Arabic: “I am the man who f****d you. I am your rapist.” A second caller denounces Yazidis as devil worshippers. And a third caller makes a graphic reference to rape.
The callers appear to have Iraqi, North African and Gulf state accents. York Regional Police have assembled a team to try to track where the calls are originating….
One of the phone calls came from a 1-800 number and another from an Alberta telephone exchange. Police say with “spoofing” apps, the calls could have been placed from anywhere in the world.
Gathering at a home in Richmond Hill, Ont., the women who survived so much trauma back in their homeland are once again in the grips of terror. Adiba, who was bought and sold six different times by ISIS fighters in 2014, says: “We came here for safety, but after these threats I don’t feel safe. We want to live without threats and fear.” Another, Milkeya, says : “I am scared. My son is four years old, he is scared.” Fearful that ISIS will come back and get them….

TRENTON, New Jersey –-(Ammoland.com)- Today, attorneys for six advocacy organizations and one individual, Firearms Policy Coalition founder Brandon Combs, filed a new lawsuit and a motion seeking a restraining order and preliminary injunction against New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal. The case was filed just days after Grewal’s Office of the Attorney General sent a threat of prosecution to Cloudflare, a major Internet services company headquartered in San Francisco, about www.CodeIsFreeSpeech.com. A copy of key court filings can be viewed or downloaded at www.codeisfreespeechlawsuit.com.
According to the complaint, on Saturday, February 3 the CodeIsFreeSpeech.com website’s act of republishing some of Defense Distributed’s digital firearms information “was met with yet another of Grewal’s Orwellian take-down orders,” demanding that Cloudflare “delete all files described within 24 hours or [Grewal’s Office] will be forced to press charges.”
“By issuing a takedown demand against” the entire website, “Grewal sought to compel the complete and total suppression of the political speech at CodeIsFreeSpeech.com, the links to other advocacy websites and their educational and political resources, links to political tee shirts, and even the very text of the United States Constitution itself,” the plaintiffs said in the filing. Attorneys for the plaintiffs also filed a motion seeking a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against Grewal. The Attorney General’s threats of prosecution and other civil enforcement actions under New Jersey laws, the plaintiffs say, violate their constitutional rights.
Last November, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed a new speech crime into law, in Senate Bill 2465. Among other things, it created a new “third degree crime” for “a person to distribute by any means, including the Internet, to a person in New Jersey” certain kinds of speech, including “digital instructions in the form of computer-aided design files or other code or instructions stored and displayed in electronic format as a digital model that may be used to program a three-dimensional printer…”
CodeIsFreeSpeech.com “is a publicly available website for the publication and republication of truthful, non-misleading, non-commercial political speech and information that is protected under the United States Constitution,” the complaint says. “Its purpose is to allow people to share knowledge and empower them to exercise their fundamental, individual rights. It was created and developed during the week of July 22, 2018—long before the State enacted Senate Bill 2465.”
The plaintiffs are represented by attorneys Chad Flores, Daniel Hammond, and Hannah Roblyer of Texas-based Beck Redden LLP and Daniel L. Schmutter of New Jersey law firm Hartman & Winnicki.

Cody Wilson, the founder of Defense Distributed (which provides firearm-related software for 3D printers), was delighted when the Department of Justice relented last July in its attempt to shut him and his company down. Without fanfare, the DOJ not only settled with Cody and his company, it agreed to pay a large part of his legal fees as well.
Cody celebrated and then put his people back to work on developing more software for firearms enthusiasts, saying: “I have developers for anything and everything, some of the best talent in the world.… It’s all ready to go. I have interested stakeholders [and] a large network [of supporters who] care about what I do.”
New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal did not share in Cody’s victory. Instead, he launched an attack on Wilson, his company, and the website that hosted his software. He frequently threatened Wilson publicly, declaring he would “come and get” him, and would “stop him” from exercising his newly resurrected First Amendment rights to freedom of speech over the Internet.
Grewal upped the ante on February 2 by sending this letter to Wilson’s company’s web host Cloudfare:
This is a notice to Cloudflare that you are serving files consisting of 3D printable firearms in violation of NJ Stat. Ann. § 2C:39-9 3(l)(2). These files are accessible via Cloudflare’s New Jersey data center. You shall delete all files described within 24 hours or we will be forced to press charges in order to preserve the safety of the citizens of New Jersey.
Three days later Wilson’s company joined with the Second Amendment Foundation, the Calguns Foundation, and several other pro-gun, pro-Second Amendment, pro-Constitution groups in suing Grewal for violating his First Amendment rights. Wilson thought the matter was settled back in July, but Grewal disagreed.
The nut of Wilson’s complaint against Grewal appears on page 38 of his 62-page lawsuit, which states:
Grewal’s conduct subjects the Plaintiffs to an unconstitutional abridgement of First Amendment freedoms; an unconstitutional infringement of Second Amendment rights; an unconstitutional violation of the right to equal protection of the laws; an unconstitutional deprivation of liberty and property without due process of law; an unconstitutional violation of the Commerce Clause; and regulation by way of state laws that are preempted by federal law.
Wilson himself boiled the issue down to this: “This is a state politician telling a host in California and a national CDN (content delivery network) service that they are guilty of a speech crime in New Jersey based on the public content they’re merely republished on the … internet.”
Grewal defended his grievous overreach by declaring that, under New Jersey’s law passed in November that targeted Wilson and his company, it is now a crime for “a person to distribute by any means, including the internet … digital instructions in the form of computer-aided design files or other code of instructions … that may be used to program a three-dimensional printer to manufacture or produce a firearm, firearm receiver, magazine, or firearm component.”
This, in effect, is a nationwide limit on the First Amendment as a means to infringe on Second Amendment rights. As Declan McCullough explained at Reason:
As a practical matter, because the New Jersey law prohibits the distribution of firearm-manufacturing information to any “person in New Jersey,” it’s effectively a national ban. It imposes New Jersey’s idiosyncratic views on firearm manufacturing instructions (and the First and Second Amendments) on the entire nation.
Gunsmiths in Idaho and Montana are unlikely to be delighted at having Grewal dictate what they’re allowed to do online.
In addition, plans can be used for purposes other than manufacturing, including simulation or modeling, making the law even broader than it might seem at first glance.
The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) explained why they were assisting Wilson in his suit against Grewal:
The lawsuit contends that after New Jersey lawmakers passed the new statute last November, Attorney General Grewal censored the plaintiffs’ free speech rights by threatening to jail them or anyone else that violates a section of the law that criminalizes distribution of digital instructions that may be used to produce a firearm with a three-dimensional printer.
SAF’s Executive Vice President Alan Gottlieb said, “This isn’t about firearms — it’s about freedom of speech. If Attorney General Grewal can suppress the sharing of technical information about the production of firearms components using modern technology, what else might he, or another attorney general choose to suppress at some future date if he or she doesn’t like it?”
It’s also about the Second Amendment. Grewal seeks to infringe on rights guaranteed by it to citizens by limiting their ability to exercise them through his grievous assault on the First.
