FACEBOOK PREPARES TO BAN CONSERVATIVE ADVERTISING AHEAD OF MIDTERM ELECTIONS
Paul Joseph Watson and Dan Lyman join Alex Jones live via Skype to discuss Facebook’s banning of conservatives multiple advertising ahead of the midterm election in an attempt to swing votes to the left.
“A Georgia gubernatorial candidate’s Facebook page was attempting to buy advertisements targeting Alex Jones and Infowars followers when they were told that audience will no longer be available as of May 24.”
Amos 3:3 – Can two walk together, except they be agreed? 2 Corinthians 6:16 – And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Colossians 2:8 – Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
NEW AGE MEDITATION, SATANISM, & CATHOLICISM FIND COMMON GROUND UNDER THE BLESSING OF THE ONE WORLD RELIGION’S POPE FRANCIS

“I KISSED A GIRL” KATY PERRY SPEAKS ABOUT TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION
Pop singer Katheryn Hudson, who goes by the stage name Katy Perry and is known for her lesbian experimentation song “I Kissed a Girl,” recently spoke on transcendental meditation alongside her mentor at the Vatican’s “Unite to Cure” conference. Her appearance, along with others, such as Deepak Chopra and Dr. Mehmet Oz, have raised concern about ongoing ecumenism at the Vatican in joining together all kinds of beliefs and practices under one banner.
“It’s helped a lot with my anxiety. Instead of having to turn to [a] prescription, I’ve been able to turn to this,” she said. “It helps incredibly with jet lag … and for all the Italians, it helps with the hangovers.”
Hudson asserted during the talk that meditation is not a religion, but is simply “taking care of one’s temple.”
“I was raised in a Christian household,” Hudson outlined, noting that her parents, who identify as evangelists, were present at the talk. “I was raised around the idea that our body is a temple. And I think if our body is truly a temple, we have to take care of it mind, body and soul. And this takes care of your mind.”
“I notice when I meditate that my whole brain kind of opens up—it kind of feels like a halo is ignited above my head,” she continued. “And it’s like I’m clearing out the cobwebs of my neuropathways and finding new neuropathways to ignite.”
Hudson said that transcendental meditation has also helped her creativity as a musical artist, “especially when I come out of it.”
Her mentor, Bob Roth, praised Hudson, stating that “100 million people really trust” the pop singer, and said that she had helped others get into meditation because of her influence.
“600,000 young kids have learned to meditate, and a lot of it because of your words,” Roth stated. “No exaggeration, you have saved thousands and thousands of lives.”
“Words are very powerful,” Hudson replied. “God created the world with words.”
The pop singer also met Roman Catholic leader Jorge Bergoglio, known as Pope Francis, during her visit and tweeted, “Honored to be in the presence of His Holiness @franciscus’ compassionate heart and inclusivity.”
The event was billed as a global health care initiative and presented by the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Culture, the Stem for Life Foundation, the Cura Foundation and the STOQ Foundation. It featured a number of doctors and health care leaders, including New Age figure Deepak Chopra, and was moderated by CNN’s medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a Hindu; talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz, a Muslim; CBS correspondent Max Gomez, and journalist Meredith Vieira.
While the Vatican’s three-day conference was attended by priests, biotech representatives and celebrities alike, Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries told Christian News Network that he found both the allowance of a presentation on transcendental meditation and the ecumenical speakers’ list to be troubling.
“We can only wonder why Katy Perry was invited to a Vatican conference and an audience with the pope,” he said. “Perry pontificated about the benefits of TM from the very chair that Pope Francis often communicates his messages. In both cases, their ‘wisdom of this world is foolishness before God’ (1 Cor. 3:19).”
As previously reported, Hudson, a former Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) artist, spoke at a Human Rights Campaign gala in March 2017 and was presented with a homosexual advocacy award. She pointed to her 2008 hit song “I Kissed a Girl” during her speech as she told those gathered that “I did more than that.” Her remark generated both cheers and applause from attendees.
Hudson also made headlines in 2016 when she donated $10,000 to the abortion and contraception giant Planned Parenthood out of fear that the organization might be defunded by the Trump administration.
“Planned Parenthood educated me on my body and my reproductive health, so that I could focus on my dreams and using my voice until I knew the timing was right for me to make a plan to have a family,” she wrote on social media. “Without this education, I may have had a different life path.”
Gendron said that he believed that the allowance of Roth and Hudson’s talk on transcendental meditation, along with the other aforementioned speakers, further evidenced Bergoglio’s desire to unite all religions and beliefs.
“He is aggressively pursuing his ecumenical agenda for religious unity and not anything to stand in his way. Clearly part of his strategy for a global religion is to cast the net into all of society and unite the world through highly influential people,” he opined.
“What better way to suppress the doctrinal differences that divide religions than to promote the ungodly Hindu practice of TM. The practice is embraced by atheists, agnostics and people from a variety of religious affiliations,” Gendron stated. “The process opens the mind to the spiritual realm such that any thought can enter. God’s word gives a resolute warning to such devilish practices. We are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ so that we can destroy speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God (2 Cor. 10:5).”
According to reports, transcendental meditation was first made popular in the 1950’s by Hindu guru Mahesh Prasad Varma, also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He learned the technique from Indian Hindu leader Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, of whom he was a follower, and named his efforts the Spiritual Regeneration Movement. Secular artists such as the Beatles are stated to have been taught by Varma.
Gendron, a former Roman Catholic of 30 years who now teaches Christians how to share the gospel with Catholics, said that the Vatican’s universal embrace, as evidenced by the various speakers, is not biblical.
“As the self-proclaimed head of the Roman Catholic Church, the pope’s blueprint for building his ecumenical church is much different from the blueprint of the Lord’s exclusive church. The true church was never ordained to be driven by man’s schemes and methods, but to be made up of all who would repent and believe His Gospel (Mark 1:15),” he stated.
“It is my prayer that Catholics would search the Scriptures to determine a true prophet from a false prophet, the true church from the false church and the narrow way that leads to life from the wide road that leads to destruction (Mat. 7:13-15).”
Katy Perry and her ‘darling’ boyfriend Orlando Bloom met the Pope on Saturday as they attended a charity conference at Vatican City. The singer looked humbled as she was met with Pope Francis at the fourth annual conference in honour of the Unite To Cure conference which gathers experts in health, entertainment, media and technology.Lining up alongside a host of other experts, Katy and Orlando beamed as they met the leader during the event shortly after she had taken to her Instagram stories to reveal she was en route to speak about meditation.Katy sported all-black – including a pillbox hat and a veil – as she met the leader alongside suit-clad Orlando, who was beaming. The three-day international conference – which runs from Thursday to Saturday – discussed the effects of new technology on society and culture. In addition to gathering experts in a range of fields, the event also saw the attendance from faith-based organizations and government representatives, who touched upon topics such as virtual reality and improving health care in less developed countries. In her Instagram stories, she said: ‘Happy Saturday everyone, I’m here in Rome at the Vatican, to speak on meditation.I’m with my momma, my darling [Orlando], and my manager, Steve! It’s a great day! I am so excited!’ Genesis star Peter Gabriel was also in attendance as a special guest at the event for his noted work in digital media. The singer was brought up by devoutly Christian parents, Keith and Mary Hudson.Last year she discussed their feeling towards her music during an interview on Smallzy’s Surgery radio show.’The thing about it is, which is such a weird thing, to really understand we agree to disagree but still with loving space,’ she said.’We all come from different places.you can have your belief system, nobody is telling you to not believe your beliefs but you can also come from a space of love. She added: ‘That’s what my family and I exercise all the time.’ Among other songs that raised eyebrows in the Perry family, her 2008 hit I Kissed A Girl was also cause for concern.’I was a little concerned, yeah, ’cause I thought my ministry after 30-something years is over,’ Katy’s minister father Keith, who runs his own ministry with Mary in California, said in Katy’s 2012 documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me.’But, you know what? Never had a problem.’ The star kicked off her singing career as a Gospel artist before embarking on her successful journey with secular music.Speaking on her religious childhood, the Firework hitmaker told Vogue last year: ‘Amy Grant was our Madonna. We knew about Madonna and Marilyn Manson in my family because we picketed their concerts.’ ‘My house was church on Sunday morning, church on Sunday night, church on Wednesday evening; you don’t celebrate Halloween; Jesus gives you your Christmas presents; we watch Bill O’Reilly on TV.’ ‘That was my whole childhood and youth and early teens.I still have conditioned layers dropping off of me by the day.’
ALBANY, N.Y. — The New York attorney general who aggressively sued 14 pro-lifers last June in claiming that they “harass” abortion-minded mothers outside of an abortion facility in Jamaica has resigned amidst allegations that he physically abused four women with whom he had sexual relationships.
Eric Schneiderman, 63 and an outspoken #Metoo supporter, denied the charges and asserted that while he had sexual relations with the women, he never hurt them.
“In the privacy of intimate relationships, I have engaged in role-playing and other consensual sexual activity. I have not assaulted anyone. I have never engaged in non-consensual sex, which is a line I would not cross,” he said in a statement.
“While these allegations are unrelated to my professional conduct or the operations of the office, they will effectively prevent me from leading the office’s work at this critical time,” Schneiderman stated.
The attorney general, who is divorced, is accused of slapping and choking the women while intoxicated, and also using abusive and demeaning language. One of the women claims that Schneiderman was a heavy drinker, and “would almost always drink two bottles of wine in a night, then bring a bottle of Scotch into the bedroom. He would get absolutely plastered five nights out of seven.”
A friend of Schneiderman’s told the New York Post that Schneiderman, a Jew who also embraces Buddhist philosophy, is currently doing some “self-reflecting.”
“He meditates. He goes on retreats,” he told the outlet. “I think he sought Buddhism to alleviate internal pain.”
As previously reported, Schneiderman, an abortion “rights” advocate, filed suit against 14 pro-life individuals last June in claiming that they have “harassed” women outside of Choices Women’s Medical Center in Jamaica by seeking to persuade them not to obtain an abortion.
“The law guarantees women the right to control their own bodies and access the reproductive health care they need, without obstruction,” he said in a statement at that time. “We’ll do what it takes to protect those rights for women across New York.”
In his legal complaint, Schneiderman alleged that the men and women, some of whom hold photos of aborted babies, approach vehicles and lean into the window to offer literature, or follow patients closely on their way into the building, at times handing a pamphlet to the accompanying child and asking him or her to “give this to your mommy to read.”
Schneiderman also took issue with the verbal speech of the pro-lifers, who he said call out “vitriolic” statements such as, “Don’t go in there; they will convince you to kill your baby—that’s how they make money,” “You have the blood of dead babies on your hands” and “They are killing babies above your heads.”
He further asserted that the men and women were disseminating false information, pointing, for example, to a pamphlet that reads, “We know you are probably upset and confused. To save the life of your baby, the laminaria (seaweed sticks) can still be removed. Please don’t do anything now that will hurt your child because you will later regret it.”
“[The defendants and their attorneys] have got to know clearly what harassment means,” she stated to Assistant Attorney General Sandra Pullman. “What is it? This is a little troubling. I don’t know what it is.”
When Pullman pointed to the dictionary definition of “repeated or persistent behavior that annoys or alarms someone,” Amon replied that if harassment charges were legally able to be filed for being annoying, “I could sue all of you here today.”
The Thomas More Society, which is representing 10 of the pro-lifers sued by Schneiderman, issued a statement on Monday, remarking that “[u]nlike the women who have described specific instances of Schneiderman’s violence, abuse and threats, the former attorney general’s prosecution of these pro-life sidewalk counselors has shown no evidence of violence, force, threats, obstruction, or inappropriate contact.” The 10 defendants are all members of Church @ the Rock in Brooklyn.
“Schneiderman’s case against our clients depends upon outlandish hyperbole: A willingness to look at acceptable conduct and call it, with the power of his office, what it plainly is not,” said special counsel Martin Cannon.
“Mr. Schneiderman has stridently voiced support of women’s causes, though it now appears he has little respect for women,” he added. “This pretense suggests that his claims against our clients, like his so-called support of women, are based on obeisance to the radical feminist agenda, and not upon what is true.”

afford $4.3 Million mansion?
BUSTED! Loudmouth Maxine’s Dirty Secret Inside Her $4.3 Million Mansion Found After 40 Years In Congress
Kara Curry for RWN reports, California State Representative Maxine Waters, a Democrat representing California’s 43rd district and also one of the poorest areas in Southern California – sure has managed to amass quite a bit of wealth for herself over the 40-or-so years that she has worked as a civil servant paid by the tax dollars of hard-working Americans.
A 17-year-old Christian teen girl was subjected to violation, and then was tortured and murdered by a Muslim family:
The Muslim family, Asif, Muhammad Kashif, Muhammad Tariq Pasran, Muhammad Ismael, along with Asif’s wife and another woman, were holding down Kainat’s legs and arms…..The Muslim family had tied a rope around the Christian girl’s neck and were strangling her. Despite her father’s pleas, they killed her in front of his eyes.
The barbarism continues against Christians, while those who pretend to advocate for human rights and democracy remain agonizingly silent about it. Instead, they call those who care about this persecution and call it out “islamophobic.” This story is particularly disturbing, as the whole Muslim family partook of this torture right in front of the Christian teen’s father.
A 17-year-old Christian girl was murdered in Pakistan after being tied down and strangled to death by a Muslim family before her father’s own eyes, reportedly because she didn’t do the household chores to their satisfaction.
Christians in Pakistan reported on Tuesday that the murder of Kainat Salamat, daughter of Salamat Masih, occurred last week in Kamonki, Gujranwala district.
Masih filed a First Information Report to report the crime on May 6, explaining to police that he arrived to visit his daughter at the home of Muhammad Asif, where she had worked as a domestic helper since age 11.
The father says that he and another relative saw that the Muslim family, Asif, Muhammad Kashif, Muhammad Tariq Pasran, Muhammad Ismael, along with Asif’s wife and another woman, were holding down Kainat’s legs and arms.
The Muslim family had tied a rope around the Christian girl’s neck and were strangling her. Despite her father’s pleas, they killed her in front of his eyes.
The father adds in the report that his daughter, who was buried on Monday, was killed for failing to do the house cleaning properly.
The British Pakistani Christian Association also reported on the girl’s death, revealing that her corpse was take to Civil Hospital Gujranwala for a post-mortem study. There, doctors found evidence that the teenager had suffered rape….
Non-Muslims paying for the upkeep of Muslims is a Qur’anic dictate:
“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (Qur’an 9:29).
The caliph Umar said the jizya payments from the dhimmis were the source of the Muslims’ livelihood:
“Narrated Juwairiya bin Qudama at-Tamimi: We said to `Umar bin Al-Khattab, ‘O Chief of the believers! Advise us.’ He said, ‘I advise you to fulfill Allah’s Convention (made with the Dhimmis) as it is the convention of your Prophet and the source of the livelihood of your dependents (i.e. the taxes from the Dhimmis.)’” (Bukhari 4.53.388)
“We are on Jihad Seekers Allowance, We take the Jizya (protection money paid to Muslims by non-Muslims) which is ours anyway. The normal situation is to take money from the Kafir (non-Muslim), isn’t it? So this is normal situation. They give us the money. You work, give us the money. Allah Akbar, we take the money. Hopefully there is no one from the DSS (Department of Social Security) listening. Ah, but you see people will say you are not working. But the normal situation is for you to take money from the Kuffar (non-Muslim) So we take Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.”
“Millions of dollars in suitcases fly out of MSP, but why?,” by Jeff Baillon, KMSP, May 13, 2018 (thanks to Ken):
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) – For five months, Fox 9 has been investigating what appears to be rampant fraud in a massive state program.
This fraud is suspected of costing Minnesota taxpayers as much as $100 million a year.
The Fox 9 Investigators reporting is based on public records and nearly a dozen government sources who have direct knowledge of what is happening.
These sources have a deep fear, and there is evidence to support their concerns, that some of that public money is ending up in the hands of terrorists.
SUITCASES FILLED WITH MONEY
This story begins at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, where mysterious suitcases filled with cash have become a common carry-on.
On the morning of March 15, Fox 9 chased a tip about a man who was leaving the country. Sources said he took a carry-on bag through security that was packed with $1 million in cash. Travelers can do that, as long as they fill out the proper government forms.
Fox 9 learned that these cloak-and-dagger scenarios now happen almost weekly at MSP. The money is usually headed to the Middle East, Dubai and points beyond. Sources said last year alone, more than $100 million in cash left MSP in carry-on luggage.
The national, go-to expert on what is behind these mysterious money transfers is Glen Kerns.
“What we were interested in is where it was going,” Kerns said.
He is a former Seattle police detective who spent 15 years on the FBI’s joint terrorism task force, until his retirement.
“It’s an outright crime, it’s unbelievable,” he said.
Kerns tracked millions of dollars in cash that was leaving on flights from Seattle.
It was coming from Hawalas, businesses used to courier money to countries that have no official banking system.
Some immigrant communities rely on Hawalas to send funds to help impoverished relatives back home.
Kerns discovered some of the money was being funneled to a Hawala in the region of Somalia that is controlled by the al Shabaab terrorist group. “I talked to a couple of sources who had lived in that region and I said, ‘If money is going to this Hawala do you think it is going to al Shabaab?’” said Kerns. “And he said, ‘Oh definitely, that area is controlled by al Shabaab, and they control the Hawala there.’”
He said when the money arrives, whether it was intended for legitimate purposes or not, al Shabaab or other groups demand a cut.
As Kerns dug deeper, he found that some of the individuals who were sending out tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of remittance payments happened to be on government assistance in this country.
How could they possibly come up with such big bucks to transfer back home?
“We had sources that told us, ‘It’s welfare fraud, it’s all about the daycare,’” said Kerns.
FOX 9 REPORTED ON THE FRAUD FIVE YEARS AGO
To better understand the connection between daycare fraud and the surge in carry-on cash, you have to look at the history of this crime.
Five years ago the Fox 9 Investigators were first to report that daycare fraud was on the rise in Minnesota, exposing how some businesses were gaming the system to steal millions in government subsidies meant to help low-income families with their childcare expenses.
“It’s a great way to make some money,” Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said.
In order for the scheme to work, the daycare centers need to sign up low income families that qualify for child care assistance funding.
Surveillance videos from a case prosecuted by Hennepin County show parents checking their kids into a center, only to leave with them a few minutes later. Sometimes, no children would show up.
Either way, the center would bill the state for a full day of childcare….

“Fox 9 reports as well that the daycare scam is common in the Somali immigrant community, with 10 centers currently being investigated and dozens more under suspicion.
It’s so common, in fact, that a Somali-descent politician was involved. Fox 9 tells us that at the very moment Fozia Ali was being sworn in as a member of the city of Hopkins Park Board, vowing to “support the constitution of the United States,” she was under investigation for scamming more than $1 million dollars through her Salama Child Care Center in south Minneapolis. “Ali submitted claims for payment through the state-and federally funded Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) that falsely inflated the number on any given day by 80 or more children, including days when Salama was closed,” wrote the Star Tribune last year, providing more detail. She’s now serving time in a federal prison.”
North Carolina ––(Ammoland.com)- If Leftists in NC’s General Assembly get their way, passage of “Gun Confiscation Order” laws could actually happen.
The Left obsesses over gun confiscation, even if they have to do it one person at a time. They have hit upon a new tactic of using “Gun Confiscation Orders” (GCOs) to seize someone’s property without due process or even their knowledge of what is to take place.
Rep. Marcia Morey, D-Durham plans on introducing a bill establishing these “Gun Confiscation Orders”.
NC Rep. Marcia Morey, Durham Democrat
In something reminiscent of the Old Soviet Union clamping down on dissent through the mental health system, these would be secret procedures where someone alleges that someone is “Dangerous” and that their firearms should be taken from them by force.
So, who gets to decide if someone is “Dangerous”?
The gun grabbers have already said that we are ‘Terrorists’ so it’s not too much of a stretch for them to claim every gun owner is “dangerous” for just having them.
These “Gun Confiscation Orders” (sometimes referred to as ‘Red Flag’ laws), are a proceeding by which your guns can be seized without due process or even your knowledge – until the ominous knock on your door. The purpose of the Constitutional principle of due process is to protect the individual from the full force of the government. These laws flip the Constitutional principle of innocent until proven guilty on its head. Now with these laws, you can be deprived of your liberty on someone’s word in a one-sided hearing without your knowledge.
Leftists seem to be in competition to see how many natural and constitutional rights they can violate in one fell swoop. These are people who have no use for Liberty who still pretend to be Liberal.
These laws infringe on the 2nd and two parts of the 5th and 4th amendments. And given that some have been persecuted for talking about the wrong subjects in public, the 1st could be easily on the list.
The proposed law would allow ‘colleagues’ or ‘friends’ to petition to a judge to have your guns seized and all they would have to do would be to “prove by a sworn affidavit, that you know and have direct knowledge that a person is in direct possession of guns.”
No Pretense, Just Straight-up Confiscation
GCOs are not a foot in the confiscatory door. There is no pretense here. GCOs blatantly and aggressively kick that door down, and once GCOs are in place, the valid reasons for establishing a GCO against an individual will surely loosen. At first, perhaps close family members and a few others very close to a person may be able to point a finger and “report” him. That’s bad enough, but be sure, the already Orwellian rules surrounding GCOs will expand. It’s likely that, eventually, virtually anyone in a person’s sphere will be able to accuse a person and begin the unconstitutional process of having the accused’s legally owned firearms forcibly confiscated. Does this sound like a free country to you, a free state?
Will Republicans Protect the Citizenry?
As of now, we don’t know how the Republican majority in Raleigh will react when asked to establish a gun confiscation mechanism. We do know that there is always danger that politicians will stick a finger in the air and just “go with the flow,” as the anti-gun crowd aggressively pushes to not “let a crisis go to waste.” There is real danger here. We need to inform our representatives that we will not allow them to rescind our Constitutional due process rights. Free, law-abiding citizens are to remain free, and we will not tolerate being punished for the crimes of another.
Below, see how you can contact your representatives to let them know you won’t tolerate the establishment of extra-Constitutional laws in our state.

Suggested Subject: “Protect Due Process, No to Gun Confiscation Orders [Red Flag laws]
I am writing because I’ve just been informed of the horrifying proposal that Rep. Morey is preparing to introduce. I understand Rep. Morey would like to establish “Gun Confiscation Oders” (GCOs) in our state. GCOs are simply mechanisms for bypassing constitutional due process protections in order to confiscate firearms, at whim, from accused persons who have not been convicted of any crime. Not only can one’s firearms be confiscated based on accusation alone, GCO hearings can also be held without the presence of the accused. To say this is unacceptable is an understatement.
I am incensed that any representative in an ostensibly free state would even suggest such an ominous mechanism be established within our legal system. I assure you, citizens like me will not stand for the suspension of our Constitutional rights. I insist that you act now to put a stop to any legislation that would establish these extra-constitutional judicial bodies, which are designed to strip people of their rights based on accusations alone.
Also, I must insist that you explain to me where you stand on this issue. I must be sure that my representatives are on the side of liberty—protecting my rights—and are not willing to oppress Constitutional guarantees simply due to the current direction of political winds.
I need a response from you, and I will also be monitoring your actions on this matter through alerts from Grass Roots North Carolina. Respectfully,

As the world waits to see how the meeting between President Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un (shown on right) on June 12 plays out, the message sent by the Trump administration through Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (shown on left) has been conciliatory compared to the strong rhetoric that passed between Kim and Trump last year.
Only last August, Trump warned the Pyongyang regime: “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.” Following Trump’s statement, a spokesman for the Korean People’s Army threatened to fire a long-range missile against the U.S. base in Guam if it felt provoked by the Americans.
The change in the nature of exchanges between Pyongyang and Washington has become more pronounced since the summit between Kim and South Korean President Moon Jae-in in late April, during which Kim told Moon that he would abandon his nuclear weapons program if the United States agrees to formally end the Korean War and promises not to invade his country. A few weeks prior to that, around April 1, then-CIA Director Pompeo made a top-secret visit to North Korea as an envoy for Trump to meet with Kim.
On April 18, Trump spoke optimistically about that meeting and tweeted: “Mike Pompeo met with Kim Jong Un in North Korea last week. Meeting went very smoothly and a good relationship was formed. Details of Summit are being worked out now. Denuclearization will be a great thing for World, but also for North Korea!”
Speaking on Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan on May 13, Pompeo said the United States would not be willing to invest taxpayer dollars to help the communist state, but was willing to “lift sanctions” as a prelude for private American investment in North Korea’s energy, agriculture, and infrastructure sectors.
Pompeo told Brennan: “What Chairman Kim will get from America is our finest, our entrepreneurs, our risk takers, our capital providers, not [aid from] our taxpayers.”
Brennan then asked, “That sounds like sanctions relief to make it possible for a company to invest directly in North Korea. When would you do that?”
Pompeo replied: “Ma’am, if we get denuclearization, of course there will be sanctions relief, certainly. There will be more than that.”
The success of the Trump-Kim meeting may well depend on whether Kim now regards economic prosperity as more important than adhering to steadfast communist philosophy.
North Korea said Wednesday it is canceling high-level talks with South Korea planned for later in the day due to ongoing military exercises between the South and the United States.
The North’s Korean Central News Agency said the Max Thunder drills between the South Korean and U.S. air forces are a rehearsal for invasion of the North and a provocation amid warming inter-Korean ties.
The high-level talks were meant to take place on the southern side of the truce village of Panmunjom to discuss follow-up measures to the two Korean leaders’ summit last month.
Retired Gen Jack Keane breaks down the situation below:
Failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney issued a vicious statement condemning Dr. Robert Jeffress, one of the nation’s most prominent evangelical ministers and a spiritual adviser to President Trump.
Jeffress is in Israel where he is scheduled to deliver the prayer that opens the new United States Embassy in Jerusalem.
“Robert Jeffress says ‘you can’t be saved by being a Jew,’ and ‘Mormonism is a heresy from the pit of hell,’” Romney wrote on Twitter. “He’s said the same about Islam. Such a religious bigot should not be giving the prayer that opens the United States Embassy in Jerusalem.”
Jeffress, who is a regular guest on my nationally-syndicated radio show, was stunned by Romney’s ugly remarks.
“Historical Christianity has taught for 2,000 years that salvation is through faith alone in Jesus Christ,” Jeffress said. “The fact that I, along with millions of evangelical Christians around the world, espouse that belief is neither bigoted or newsworthy.”
Romney’s scathing attacks brought condemnation across the nation.
“Mitt Romney is showing his true colors as a liberal RINO by using the Democrat playbook to attack a Baptist pastor who is simply standing for the orthodox Christian faith,” said Dr. Emir Caner, president of Truett-McConnell University. “After all, if Jeffress is a bigot for declaring that there is only one way to heaven, so too was Jesus a bigot by declaring, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
The views expressed by Dr. Jeffress are in line with the teachings of the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation’s largest Protestant denomination.
The North American Mission Board of the SBC labels the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as “cultic.”
“Mormon teaching is not orthodox nor biblical in that it does not hold to the inerrancy of Scripture, nor to the full, eternal divinity of Christ. On those two points alone, Mormon teaching does not qualify as orthodox Christianity,” NAMB states.
“Obviously, the question “Are Mormons Christians?” is not controversial because of a mere disagreement over classification. The real issue is whether the LDS Church is a valid, authentic, faithful expression of the Christian faith. On this question, we must simply accept the fact that evangelicals and LDS will disagree,” NAMB states.
The question must be asked — does Romney consider the 14 million members of the Southern Baptist Convention to be religious bigots, too?
“Ultimately, a good Jew, Muslim or Baptist cannot go to heaven without the saving blood of Jesus Christ,” Caner said.
Apparently, Romney would disagree with that belief.
(Publisher’s comment: We believe that Dr. Jeffers has done a great service to the cause of Christ and the gospel with his bold and clear statement on the doctrine Mormons along with many other false religions have been masquerading as “Christian” sects, but, in reality they are imposters, not believing the core doctrines of Christianity which include the deity of Christ, the virgin birth, the Trinity, and the doctrine of justification by faith alone. Romney has attacked Jeffers position on justification by faith or “Sola Fide”, which was one of the watch words of the Reformation as being “bigoted?” Untold martyrs have gone to the flames and other cruel deaths for this belief who were also called bigots and far worse. Paul said, Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
V – 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
This includes a long list. There are only two religions in the world. The false one that say “DO” and the true one according to the Bible that says DONE.
The false ones are depending on Christ plus and the true one is trusting on the blood of Christ alone. Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
V – 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
We could make a long list of the “DO” boys. But we will just give a few
Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witness, Christian Science, Seventh Day Adventism, Roman Catholicism, Church of Christ, Lordship Salvation, many, many more.}
“Romney was displeased that Dr. Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, was asked to pray at the opening of the U.S. Embassy. It seems Jeffress is an old-fashioned Christian of the Baptist persuasion and believes “You can’t be saved by being a Jew,” and “Mormonism is a heresy from the pit of hell.” Well, does that surprise any educated person that a Baptist would believe that? People have a right to disagree with him but that doesn’t make him wrong. And even if he were wrong, that doesn’t make him a bigot. A person can be right or wrong about an issue and be a bigot, or not be a bigot.”
“Romney said, “He’s said the same about Islam. Such a religious bigot should not be giving the prayer that opens the United States Embassy in Jerusalem.””
