WEST GOSHEN >> Clayton P. Carter III has a history of violence
on Box Elder Drive, the normally quiet residential street within
shouting distance of West Chester East High School.

The man who Chester County law enforcement authorities say shot
and killed a neighbor as the culmination of a long running but largely
unexplained dispute had previously been arrested and charged with
assault and criminal trespass on the street — at the very house where he
had been living until his arrest Tuesday.

Almost 20 years ago, according to court records, Carter rammed
his Chevrolet pickup truck into the front door of a house on the street
where his in-laws lived. He then shoved his father-in-law and demanded
to know where his daughter was.

The criminal charges were ultimately resolved with a summary plea
to counts of disorderly conduct and harassment, and Carter — who was
then 23 years old and living in Uwchlan, where he was the manager of a
trailer park — was placed on 360 days of probation, ordered to continue
counseling and seek a mental health evaluation.

West Goshen police and Chester County prosecutors say that at 1
a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Box Elder Drive, Carter shot and killed
his next-door neighbor, G. Brooks Jennings. The defendant and the
victim had been involved in a long-running neighborhood dispute that
culminated with the defendant shooting the victim once, then standing
over the victim’s body and shooting him a second time in the head,
according to a press release.

Carter, 51, was living with his wife and father-in-law at the Box
Elder Drive address, according to his attorney, Terrence Marlowe of
Downingtown, who represents him in the murder and had represented him in
the earlier case. He is now being held in Chester County Prison without
bail, pending a preliminary hearing. Marlowe has suggested that the
shooting occurred in self-defense.

“It is a sad situation when neighbors can’t put their differences
aside for the sake of a peaceful community,” commented West Goshen
Police Chief Joseph Gleason. “Such a senseless circumstance which only
results in tragedy for multiple families.” A spokesman for the
department said that officers had been called to the neighborhood at
least eight times this year to resolve disputes between the men.

In a criminal complaint filed on Jan. 11, 1998, then-Officer
Richard M. Geiger reported that he was called to Box Elder Drive at
12:40 a.m. for a report of a subject driving a pickup truck on the front
lawn and smashing into the front door. The driver, identified as
Carter, continued to ram the house until the truck itself was inside.

Geiger said that when he arrived, the truck was through the front
wall, and the front door and living room were “extensively damaged.” He
and Officer Lewis Knerr met Carter coming out of the house, and said he
told them, “I know what I did, arrest me.” When Geiger asked him if the
pickup was his, Carter told him, “Yes. I came to get my daughter.”

The officers then interviewed William Magill, Carter’s
father-in-law. Magill said that Carter had called him twice from a car
phone, but that moments later he heard the truck striking the front of
the house four to five times. Magill said he was standing at the top of
the stairs when he saw Carter get out of the truck while it was inside
the house, walk up the stairs and knock a golf club he was holding out
of his hands. Carter shoved Magill two or three times and asked about
his daughter. When Carter was taken to the West Chester Police
Department to await arraignment before then-Magisterial District Judge
J. Peter Winther, an officer asked if he was suicidal. “No,” he said. “I
just want my daughter,” according to the criminal affidavit.

He was charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass,
recklessly endangering another person, and related counts. He pleaded
guilty to the summary charges on July 6, 1998, after Marlowe and
then-Assistant District Attorney Leslie Pike worked out an agreement.

The allegations in the homicide as laid out by police and the Chester County District Attorney’s Office are as follows:

At approximately 7:50 p.m. on Monday, police responded to another
dispute between Carter and Jennings about cursing and a video recording
in the back yard. The police resolved the dispute.

At approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday the men got into another
dispute, with Carter claiming that Jennings was shining a light into his
eyes while he was outside. Coincidentally, Carter ended up pulling a
car onto his own lawn and shining the high beams of the car at Jennings.

Carter had retrieved a .380 caliber semi-automatic Ruger handgun
from his residence, and confronted Jennings again outside. He then shot
Jennings once in the head while he was standing, which knocked Jennings
to the ground. Authorities say Carter then stood over the victim and
shot him a second time in the head. Jennings, according to the news
release issued, was on his own property.

In a recorded and Mirandized statement, Carter admitted the
details of the ongoing disputes and shooting the victim, but said
Jennings threatened him with a knife. The official statement noted that
Carter had no injuries, and did not call the police and did not render
aid to the victim.

Multiple witnesses heard the gunshots and reported a timing gap
between the first and second shot. Jennings’ wife heard the first shot
and — looking out a window — saw her husband lying motionless on the
ground, and Carter standing over him and shooting him in the head.

Marlowe said Tuesday that Carter and his wife had moved to the
Box Elder house some years ago to care for his mother-in-law, Phyllis
Magill, a clerk at the Brandywine River Museum gift shop who died in
2013. They had since been caring for William Magill, he said.

Londonistan Mayor Sadiq Khan clueless on
radical Islam

The mayor of London received backlash after announcing an
initiative to drive down knife crime by going after an unlikely culprit:
Youtube videos.

Sadiq Khan was accused of ignoring the
true origin behind the UK’s crime wave in a Monday tweet, in which he
called on social media to “toughen guidelines & remove violent
videos” in order to stem knife violence.

“Internet giants have policies in place around violent content, but they do not go far enough,” Khan said, partially blaming Google and Youtube for hosting videos he claims incite violence and knifings.
“Google,
YouTube and other platforms have a responsibility to the millions of
young people using their sites every day, and it is vital that they
toughen up their guidelines, remove breaches immediately and work with
partners to help ensure such horrific videos do not reappear. Lives
could depend on it.”
Commenters on Twitter were quick to point out
the mayor was ignoring an important element driving the rise in knife
attacks: radical Islam.

The
mayor’s tone-deaf initiative comes after numerous knife attacks in
London, the UK and Europe as a whole, with the Islamic State terror
group claiming responsibility for many.
In a June 12 truck attack
which struck nearly 40 pedestrians on London Bridge, three men exited
the vehicle and stabbed people announcing the attacks were carried out
in the name of Islam.
Describing the attack on her 23-year-old son Daniel, Elisabeth O’Neill said,
“He had just stepped outside the bar for a second and a man ran up to
him and said ‘this is for my family, this is for Islam’ and stuck a
knife in him.”
The attack followed an Islamic State propaganda
campaign encouraging would-be jihadists to conduct gun, knife and truck
attacks to “kill the civilians of the crusaders” during Ramadan.
“Last
year 61 people were stabbed to death in London, while 29 people have
been killed in 2017, up from 23 for the same period the year before,” reports Metro.co.uk.

POLAND TELLS EU: WE’LL TAKE IMMIGRANTS FROM EUROPE, BUT NOT NORTH AFRICA & MIDDLE EAST

POLAND TELLS EU: WE’LL TAKE IMMIGRANTS FROM EUROPE, BUT NOT NORTH AFRICA & MIDDLE EAST
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski has said his
country is welcoming migrants from its poor and conflict-stricken
European neighbours, but will resist the European Union’s efforts to
impose a compulsory quota of migrants from North Africa and the Middle
East.

Waszczykowski’s words echo those of the President of the Czech
Republic…Miloš Zeman said he had “nothing against immigrants who come
here to work and who have similar language and similar culture like
ours”, citing the Ukrainian community and even the Vietnamese community
as having the right attitude towards their host nation.

Poland will surely be called racist by other Western countries that
have opened their borders and persisted in admitting massive numbers of
immigrants who have not been and cannot be vetted. But note that the
Czech Republic has referred to the “Vietnamese community as having the
right attitude towards their host nation.” Assimilation or at least
respect for the host country is vital to the social order of free
nations.

Poland has not seen jihad attacks,
mass rapes, skyrocketing crime and burgeoning national debt; neither
has Hungary. Both have restrictive immigration policies. Meanwhile, the
European Commission has begun a lawsuit against Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic for refusing to take in refugees.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban also remains resolute in his
refusal to accept an EU-imposed quota of refugees, also citing reasons
of culture. Orban has declared
that “2017 will be a year of rebellion” and that, like America, it is
time to “make Hungary great again.” Orban has stated that Europe was in a
“grip of madness” and warned that its “Christian identity” was threatened.

“Poland Tells EU: We’ll Take Immigrants from Europe – But Not North Africa and the Middle East”, by Jack Montgomery, Breitbart, August 8, 2017:

Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski has said his
country is welcoming migrants from its poor and conflict-stricken
European neighbours, but will resist the European Union’s efforts to
impose a compulsory quota of migrants from North Africa and the Middle
East.

“Poland is open for migration. And last year, for instance, we issued
1,267,000 visas for Ukrainians. Half of these visas were work permits,”
Waszczykowski told Russian media in a bruising interview reproduced by
the Daily Express.

“We are also open for migration not only from Ukraine but also from
Belarus and other countries, [but] we do not want to participate in the
mandatory process of relocation of migrants coming from the Middle East
and Africa.

“We do not want to implement the decision of the European Union taken in September of 2015.”

Waszczykowski’s words echo those of the President of the Czech
Republic — which is also resisting the EU’s attempts to impose migrant
quotas — in February 2017.

Miloš Zeman said he had “nothing against immigrants who come here to
work and who have similar language and similar culture like ours”,
citing the Ukrainian community and even the Vietnamese community as
having the right attitude towards their host nation.

“[But] I do not want immigrants who come from other cultures who come
for social benefits, not because of work,” he continued, adding:
“Muslims should remain in the countries where they live [and] they
should work in them, and they should not go to Europe, where they do not
want to work.”

Hungarian premier Viktor Orbán — the de facto leader of the group of
Central European states resisting what the EU’s attempts to execute the
Soros Plan to distribute migrants throughout the continent — has gone
even further, wryly suggesting that he will open his country’s doors to
“true refugees” fleeing multicultural Western Europe……

George Wood Steps Down From Assemblies of God
General Superintendent Position—
and Resolution 3 Is Withdrawn

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

August 9, 2017
According to numerous sources, Dr.
George Wood has stepped down from his role as General Superintendent
of the Assemblies of God denomination. One source, Charisma Magazine, stated the following in a news article Wed (August 9th) afternoon:

Douglas E. Clay was voted general
superintendent of the General Council of the Assemblies of God USA in a
stunning vote after former General Superintendent George O. Wood
removed his name from the ballot. . . .
Multiple rounds of voting took
place earlier that day. Wood participated in at least one of those
rounds of voting before removing his name from the ballot. After
Clay’s strong performance, one source suggested Wood “felt this was
indicative of a different direction.” (source)

Also according to various sources,
including firsthand accounts by General Council delegates at the
convention, the controversial Resolution 3, which was supposed to be
voted on at this year’s Assemblies of God General Council in Anaheim,
California, was withdrawn by R3’s foremost author, Ross Byars, after
numerous Assemblies of God delegates publicly expressed strong concern
about the Resolution. One Facebook source stated: “Resolution 3 was
removed at/by the General Council of AOG that had become a firestorm
for believers.”
