In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the CEO of Hasbro
outlined that the company has changed its thinking regarding certain
toys being geared toward particular genders.

Brian Goldner told the outlet
that Hasbro has found that a significant percentage of boys are
interested in My Little Pony, and that girls might like some of the Star
Wars products the company will soon be releasing.

“You’ve pivoted Hasbro’s focus from mostly boys to girls as well, and
the stock hit an all-time high in February. What does that say about
the marketplace?” reporter Tatiana Siegel asked.

“We look at our brands more inclusively than ever. In fact, we
eliminated the old delineation of gender,” Goldner said. “And if you
think about a brand, be it My Little Pony, where 30 percent of our
global TV audience is boys, or Star Wars, where we are launching
[all-female animated series] Forces of Destiny with Lucas and Disney,
you’re seeing people who want to be engaged in these stories.”

“And we don’t care who they are. We just care that they love that brand,” he added.

Earlier this year, Fortune Magazine
also noted Hasbro’s desire not to divide toys as being for just girls
or only boys, outlining that “[e]xecutives say this is a sign of the
times, as Millennial parents in particular don’t want their children to
learn stereotypical gender habits.”

“We want to be inclusive in our approach across gender and
ethnicity,” said President John Frascotti. “Instead of thinking, that’s a
boy brand or a girl brand, we see them as dual-gender. … Our approach
is we build brands for consumers.”

He likewise noted that My Little Pony, Star Wars and Transformers brands have had appeal for both boys and girls.

In January, an eight-year-old girl’s letter to Hasbro
went viral after she wrote to the company to complain that it had left
out the female character Rey from its new Star Wars Monopoly game. She
thought that perhaps the company had only focused on the male
characters.

“[W]ithout her, the bad guys would have won! Besides, boys and girls
need to see women can be as strong as men,” Annie Rose wrote in
handwritten note to the company. “Boy or girl, who cares? We are equal,
all of us!”

Hasbro responded that it did not include Rey because it would have
been a spoiler for the movie as the game was released before the film,
and that it would release the action figure separately.

“We are thrilled with the popularity of this compelling character and
will continue to look for ways to showcase Rey across all our product
lines,” the company responded in part.

However, some have expressed concern about Hasbro’s elimination of
gender delineation for its brands or product lines, lamenting that toy
companies have now seemingly jumped on the “gender neutral” bandwagon.

“Hasbro’s Star Wars and Jurassic Park lines have performed well with
boys. It recently purchased Disney Princesses, but apparently the
company doesn’t plan to market them [only] to girls, since it doesn’t
believe in gender delineation,” wrote Erin Pierri of TellMeNow. “What
sense does this make? The left wants to turn us all into non-gender
robots. It will never work as biology will win this war long term.”

The invasion of Europe by Muslim migrants continues to escalate. Italy has been on the verge of collapse
in trying to cope with the “exodus from Libya to the Italian coast.”
Austria is now prepared to fight back by imposing border checks and
deploying soldiers “on its frontier with Italy if the influx of migrants
across the Mediterranean does not slow.”

As the hijrah continues to worsen, Austria is rightly fighting back. Recently it was announced that Hungary was leading central European countries against mass migration, Austria among them.

VIENNA (AFP) – Austria will “very soon” impose border
checks and deploy soldiers on its frontier with Italy if the influx of
migrants across the Mediterranean does not slow, Vienna’s defense
minister was quoted as saying Monday.
“I expect that very soon border controls will be activated and that a
assistance deployment (by the military) will be requested,” Hans Peter
Doskozil told the online edition of the Krone daily.
He was cited as saying that this move was “indispensable if the
inflow into Italy does not ease”. The paper said that 750 soldiers were
available and that four armored vehicles had already been sent to the
area over the weekend.
Austria introduced checks on its eastern border with Hungary in 2015
and has readied physical measures such as barriers on its Italian border
in the south-west, including at the famous Brenner Pass.
Nearly 85,000 migrants and refugees have arrived in Italy by sea this
year, the UN refugee agency said earlier Monday. More than 2,000 others
have died or gone missing on the perilous crossing.
“This is not sustainable. We need to have other countries joining
Italy and sharing that responsibility,” Vincent Cochetel, the UNHCR’S
special envoy for the central Mediterranean, told reporters in Geneva…..

make one million immigrants into U.S. citizens this year, partly as a
response to the policies of President Donald Trump.

According to the Washington Examiner, the initiative is being pushed
by a group called “Naturalize NOW!”—which is tying its campaign to
patriotic American holidays like the Fourth of July.

Announced on Flag Day, the Examiner reports:

[t]he ‘Naturalize NOW!’ campaign, which includes liberal and
progressive groups and elected officials, heralded the mayors of the
cities in joining the national effort.

Among the cities cited in an Independence Day notice from Mi Familia:
Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Cleveland, OH; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL;
Dallas, TX; Dayton, OH; Jersey City, NJ; Knoxville, TN; Los Angeles, CA;
Miami, FL; Miami-Dade County, FL; Montgomery County, MD; Paterson, NJ;
Pittsburgh, PA; New York City, NY; Salt Lake County, UT; San Francisco,
CA; Seattle, CA; South Gate, CA & Tucson, AZ.

Most of these jurisdictions are sanctuary cities and counties.

Los Angeles, which has long been a “sanctuary city” under a local
ordinance known as “Special Order 40,” has been in the hot seat
nationally ever since President Trump publicly befriended Jamiel Shaw,
Sr. Shaw’s 17-year-old son with the same name was gunned down by an
illegal alien gang member released onto the streets of LA instead of
being turned over to federal authorities for deportation.

The mayor of Los Angeles, home to millions of legal and illegal
aliens, is an enthusiastic supporter of the Naturalize Now! campaign:

“We celebrate our independence on July 4, and honor the values of
freedom, justice, unity, and equality that make us who we are,” Garcetti
reportedly said. “Los Angeles joined the Naturalize NOW campaign
because those principles are still worth fighting for — and to encourage
eligible Angelenos and people across the country to seek a path toward
citizenship and join the American family.”

According to the “Naturalize NOW!” website, the campaign to make 1
million new citizens (and presumably voters) is motivated in large part
by a desire to shield the immigrant community from the policies of
President Trump.

As Turkey continues its Islamization under Erdogan, it becomes
increasingly hostile to Christians and Christianity. This fact should
give pause to the fond and foolish purveyors of “Muslim-Christian
dialogue” and Christian “outreach” to Muslims, but it won’t.

“Erdogan Seizes 50 Syriac Churches and Monasteries, Declares Them Turkish State Property,” by Patrick Poole, PJ Media, June 27, 2017:

The Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet)
has seized control of at least 50 Syriac churches, monasteries, and
cemeteries in Mardin province, report media sources from Turkey…

After Mardin became a Metropolitan Municipality, its
villages were officially turned into neighbourhoods as per the law and
attached to the provincial administration. Following the legislative
amendment introduced in late 2012, the Governorate of Mardin established
a liquidation committee. The Liquidation Committee started to
redistribute in the city, the property of institutions whose legal
entity had expired. The transfer and liquidation procedures are still
ongoing.

In 2016, the Transfer,
Liquidation and Redistribution Committee of Mardin Governorate
transferred to primarily the Treasury as well as other relevant public
institutions numerous churches, monasteries, cemeteries and other assets
of the Syriac community in the districts of Mardin.
The Mor Gabriel Monastery
Foundation appealed to the decision yet the liquidation committee
rejected their appeal last May. The churches, monasteries and cemeteries
whose ownerships were given to the Treasury were then transferred to
the Diyanet.
Inquiries of the Mor Gabriel
Monastery Foundation revealed that dozens of churches and monasteries
had been transferred to the Treasury first and then allocated to the
Diyanet. And the cemeteries have been transferred to the Metropolitan
Municipality of Mardin. The maintenance of some of the churches and
monasteries are currently being provided by the Mor Gabriel Monastery
Foundation and they are opened to worship on certain days. Similarly, the cemeteries are still actively used by the Syriac community who visits them and performs burial procedures. The Syriacs have appealed to the Court for the cancellation of the decision.
“We started to file lawsuits
and in the meantime our enquiries continued” said Kuryakos Ergün, the
Chairman of Mor Gabriel Monastery Foundation. Ergün said they would
appeal to the court for the cancellation of nearly 30 title deed registries.
Included in the seizure is the 1600-year-old Mor Gabriel Monastery:

at the Civil Court of First Instance in Mardin against the registration
of title deed records in the name of Treasury.

In the petition filed to the
court it has been noted that the properties subject to the court case
had been, since ancient times, under the possession and ownership of the
Foundation and the significance of Mor Gabriel Monastery has been
underlined; “Its history dates back to the 4th century AD. The Monastery
is one of the oldest monasteries in the world which is still active and
is one of the most ancient religious centers of Syriacs and the entire
world with its history of more than 1600 years.

Gabriel Monastery Foundation had been established on the basis of the
imperial order of Sultan Abdülmecid Han during the Ottoman Empire in
“1267 Islamic calendar (1851/1852 Gregorian calendar) and its status was
redefined, became a legal entity, on the basis of the Foundations Law
of 13.06.1935 with no 2762.
The Foundation had been
recognised as “a religious community foundation” on the basis of a
Regulation issued in 2002 by the Directorate General of Foundation and
was included in the List of Religious Community Foundations drafted same
year. Foundations that I’m not included in this list are in not
recognised as religious community foundations.”…

The Department of Homeland
Security in New Jersey has officially listed Antifa as a domestic
terrorist organization after a rash of violent attacks by the group
targeting supporters of Donald Trump.
Under the heading ‘Anarchist Extremists: Antifa’, the njhomelandsecurity.gov website characterizes Antifa under the designation of “domestic terrorism”.
“In
the past year, Antifa groups have become active across the United
States, employing a variety of methods to disrupt demonstrations,”
states the advisory, before going on to list a number of violent
disruptions, including Milo Yiannopoulos’ speaking event at the
University of California Berkeley on February 1st, which was cancelled
after members of Antifa violently attacked free speech advocates.
The advisory also lists how Antifa has engaged in doxxing of individuals to expose them to abuse and violent harassment.
The
designation is of course completely valid since Antifa fits the very
definition of terrorism, which is “the unlawful use of violence and
intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political
aims.”
The group has also staged numerous violent riots, including during the inauguration of Donald Trump, that have caused millions of dollars worth of property damage.
There have been innumerable violent attacks on Trump supporters by members of Antifa over the last six months, although the mainstream media has barely reported on them.
Back in May, Diablo Valley College professor Eric Clanton was arrested for a series of sickening assaults in which he used a metal bike lock to attack Trump supporters at a free speech rally in Berkeley.

The Canadian government is going to apologize and give
millions to a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner who pleaded guilty to
killing a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan when he was 15, with Canada’s
Supreme Court later ruling that officials had interrogated him under
“oppressive circumstances.”

An official familiar with the deal said Tuesday that Omar Khadr will
receive $10.5 million. The official was not authorized to discuss the
deal publicly before the announcement and spoke on condition of
anonymity. The government and Khadr’s lawyers negotiated the deal last
month.

The Canadian-born Khadr was 15 when he was captured by U.S. troops
following a firefight at a suspected al-Qaida compound in Afghanistan
that resulted in the death of an American special forces medic, U.S.
Army Sgt. First Class Christopher Speer. Khadr, who was suspected of
throwing the grenade that killed Speer, was taken to Guantanamo and
ultimately charged with war crimes by a military commission.

He pleaded guilty in 2010 to charges that included murder and was
sentenced to eight years plus the time he had already spent in custody.
He returned to Canada two years later to serve the remainder of his
sentence and was released in May 2015 pending an appeal of his guilty
plea, which he said was made under duress.

Omar Khadr spent 10 years in Guantanamo Bay. His case received international attention after some dubbed him a child soldier.

The Supreme Court of Canada ruled in 2010 that Canadian intelligence
officials obtained evidence from Khadr under “oppressive circumstances,”
such as sleep deprivation, during interrogations at Guantanamo Bay in
2003, and then shared that evidence with U.S officials.

Khadr was the youngest and last Western detainee held at the U.S. military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba….

After his 2015 release from prison in Alberta, Omar Khadr apologized
to the families of the victims. He said he rejects violent jihad and
wants a fresh start to finish his education and work in health care. He
currently resides in an apartment in Edmonton, Alberta.

A video explaining America’s Christian roots has been denied access on Facebook, reports Charisma News.

The video, which was produced by Bill Heid of Heirloom Audio Productions is called The Lost Secrets of Liberty and
was set to release to coincide with America’s celebration of
Independence Day. In the video, Heid discusses America’s Christian
heritage and what liberty meant to the Founding Fathers.

The video also reveals not often discussed facts about America’s
founding, including Ethan Allen’s demand that the British at Fort
Ticonderoga surrender “in the name of the Great Jehovah and the
Continental Congress” and John Adams’ assertion that religion played a
central role in American Independence.

Heirloom’s advertising campaign for the video was not approved by
Facebook. The reason given was due to “images or videos that show nudity
or cleavage.”

Heirloom assumed this objection was in reference to an image of
Michelangelo’s painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel–hardly a
graphic image.

“I applaud Facebook for having standards,” Heid said. “However, I’m
also deeply saddened by the tragic and unjustified banning of our new
family-friendly Christian production. I created this Independence Day
video for parents to watch with their kids so they could discuss the
origins of America’s liberty.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Evidence emerging from the Vatican in
recent days strongly suggests Pope Francis is transforming the Catholic
Church into a socialist political organization that embraces the LGBT
agenda, in complete rejection of the traditional pro-family religious
orientation of his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI.
Last week, Pope Francis fired
the Vatican’s top theologian, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Mueller, the head
of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, who had a reputation
as a staunch defender of the traditional family.
Pope Francis
replaced Cardinal Mueller with the Congregation for the Doctrine of the
Faith’s second-in-command, the more liberal Archbishop Luis Francisco
Ladaria Ferrer.
Then, on Thursday, July 5, the Daily Mail in London reported
Vatican police had broken up a gay orgy occurring in the Vatican-owned
apartment belonging to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
Ironically,
this was also the Vatican department Pope Francis had assigned to
investigate the Catholic Church’s pedophile sex scandal involving
priests in the United States as well as various other countries around
the world.

The apartment was apparently the residence of the male secretary to
Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, one of Pope Francis’ key advisors, and
the president of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, another
key part of the Roman Curia responsible for administering the activities
of the Catholic Church worldwide.
Neither development surprised reporter George Neumayr, whose recent book, The Political Pope: How Pope Francis is Delighting the Liberal Left and Abandoning Conservatives,
predicted Pope Francis will accelerate the transformation of the
Catholic Church into a leftist political organization after former Pope
Benedict XVI dies.

“Pope Francis inherited Cardinal Muller
from his predecessor and was itching to sack him,” Neumayr explained to
Infowars.com in an email.
“Pope Francis was annoyed by Muller’s
opposition to the relativism of this pontificate, particularly Muller’s
resistance to the pope’s plan to relax the Church’s teaching on
adultery,” Neumayr continued.
“Muller also opposed the pope’s policy of distributing Communion to divorced-and-remarried Catholics,” Neumayr added.
Neumayr
interpreted the move as Pope Francis distancing himself from the more
conservative, traditional papacy of Pope Benedict XVI.
“By
dropping Muller, Pope Francis is trying to free himself for once and all
from the conservative restraints of Pope Benedict XVI, whose opposition
to the ‘dictatorship of relativism’ Pope Francis always disliked,”
Neumayr explained.
“Appropriately, Pope Francis has replaced
Muller with a fellow Jesuit, the Spanish archbishop Luis Ladaria Ferrer,
who appears willing to serve as a rubber stamp for the pope’s
liberalism,” Neumayr concluded.
Neumayr also commented on the developing Vatican gay sex orgy scandal.
“This
is proof the gay mafia has reached the highest echelons of the Catholic
Church,” Neumayr told Infowars.com in an exclusive telephone interview.
“Instead of disbanding the gay mafia, Pope Francis evidently has allowed the gay mafia to burrow deeper into the Vatican.”
Neumayr referenced the decision Pope Francis made in July 2013 to appoint
Monsignor Battista Ricca, a veteran Vatican diplomat, to serve as his
representative, or “prelate” at the Vatican Bank despite allegations of
various gay sexual scandals that plagued Ricca since 1999, when he was
sent by the Vatican to Montevideo, Uruguay.
“The ecclesiastical
head of the Vatican Bank is still Monsignor Ricca,” Neumayr commented,
“and he was entangled in a similar gay sexual scandal before his
elevation to his current position.”
Neumayr noted that Pope
Francis was aware of the sexual scandal allegations made against Ricca,
but Pope Francis decided to disregard the charges when he decided to go
ahead and make Ricca head of Vatican Bank anyway.
“No one should
be surprised by these episodes — either the firing of Cardinal Mueller
or the emerging gay orgy sex scandal,” Neumayr suggested.
“Both are consistent with the direction in which Pope Francis is taking the Catholic Church,” he concluded.

well, that he was soon to be promoted to the rank of bishop.  When
Francis was notified of the monsignor being caught in the act he was
“enraged”.  One of the monsignor’s fellow priests said, “He had proposed
his secretary for the episcopate.  Luckily they have not made him a
bishop.  Now imagine what could have happened?””
