The first ban was blocked by a ruling that didn’t even mention the relevant statute giving the President the authority to restrict immigration. It isn’t clear yet whether or not this block discusses that law. Activist judges with no regard for the safety of the American people are legislating from the bench with complete indifference to existing laws. If that isn’t reined in, the consequences will be catastrophic, beginning with the jihadis who will take advantage of this judge’s politically correct virtue signaling in order to slip into the U.S. in the near future.

(CNN)A federal judge in Hawaii has blocked President
Donald Trump’s new travel ban on Wednesday afternoon, hours before the
ban was set to go into effect.
This ruling means that travelers from six Muslim-majority countries and refugees will be able to travel to the US.
The Trump administration took over a month to rewrite the travel ban
order after multiple federal courts blocked its implementation last
month….
Despite this changes, US District Court Judge Derrick Watson
concluded that the new executive order still failed to pass legal
muster.

Donald Trump responded to the federal judge in Hawaii who
froze his latest executive order restricting immigration just hours
before it was supposed to go into effect.
Speaking from a rally in Nashville Wednesday night, the president said it was “unprecedented judicial overreach.”
“Let me give you the bad news,” Trump said. “We don’t like bad news,
right? Let me give you the bad, the sad news. Moments ago, I learned
that a district judge in Hawaii, part of the much overturned ninth
circuit court, and I have to be nice or otherwise I’ll be criticized for
speaking poorly about our courts…a judge has blocked our executive
order. The order he blocked was a watered down version of the first
order. That was also blocked by another judge and should have never been
blocked to start with.”
“This new order was tailored to the ninth
circuit’s dictates. The law and Constitution give the president the
power to suspend immigration when he or she deems — fortunately, it will
not be Hillary she…”
“We are talking about the safety of our nation,” he continued. “The
safety and security of our people. You don’t think this was done by a
judge for a political reason? This ruling makes us look weak, which by
the way we no longer are. Just look at our orders…”
“We are going
to take our case as far as it needs to go, even to the Supreme Court. We
are going to win. I will not stop fighting for the safety of you and
your families. Not today, not ever. We’re going to win it. We are going
to win it. We are going to apply common sense. We are never quitting and
we are never going away.”
U.S. District Judge Derrick K. Watson
froze the order on Wednesday after the state filed a lawsuit against the
president’s revised order last week.
The order, which temporarily
bars the citizens of Sudan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia and Yemen from
entering the United States for 90 days, was supposed to go into effect
at midnight Wednesday.

GOP senators are asking Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to
investigate claims that the Obama administration used taxpayer money to
fund leftist billionaire George Soros’ political groups and activities
abroad.
A letter sent
Tuesday asked the State Department to determine whether agencies such
as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
diverted taxpayer money to leftist movements directed by Soros.
Sen.
Mike Lee (R-Utah), one of the co-signers, said that foreign officials
and political leaders have revealed to him “reports of U.S. activity in
their respective countries.”
“This includes reports of diplomats playing political favorites,
USAID funds supporting extreme and sometimes violent political
activists, and the US Government working to marginalize the moderates
and conservatives in leadership roles…This sort of political favoritism
from our missions around the world is unacceptable,” Lee said in a
statement.
Lee is referring specifically to the USAID funding of
Soros’ Open Society Foundation in Macedonia, where the group’s stated
goal is “to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are
accountable to their citizens,” but critics contend that it’s a front
for Soros’ destabilization programs and color revolutions.
The
USAID website shows that between 2012 and 2016, USAID gave nearly $5
million in taxpayer money to the Soros group for “The Civil Society”
project, which “aims to empower Macedonian citizens to hold government
accountable.”
The letter goes on to say that senior lawmakers have
heard similar reports of political meddling coming out of Albania,
Latin America and parts of Africa.
“Respected leaders from Albania
have made similar claims of U.S. diplomats and Soros-backed
organizations pushing for certain political outcomes in their country,”
states the letter.
“We respectfully ask that you use your
authority to investigate all funds associated with promoting democracy
and governance and review the programs, accounts, and multiplicity of
U.S. entities involved in such activities.”
Hungarian PM Viktor Orban warned in January of Soros’ “trans-border empire,” saying Soros was attempting to manipulate political fights in his country.
“I
think it is no secret and everyone knows about the very close
relationship between the Democrats and George Soros and his
foundations,” Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó told Fox News.

A former radical Islamist turned Christian evangelist is
warning the West of another form of jihad being waged in the education
front.
Isik Abla “mentioned four other types of jihad—educational,
population, media, and economical jihad” and revealed that “she was
recruited to wage educational jihad by her first Muslim husband.”
Abla’s warnings emerge from her firsthand experience, and such
warnings have come from others as well. There exists a mental block in
the minds of Westerners who have been culturally conditioned to accept
diversity without question, compounded by politicians seeking the Muslim
vote. The advancement of “population jihad” will serve the interests of
politicians who seek their own self-aggrandizement over the well-being
of citizens. Little wonder that the doors to immigration are being
indiscriminately flung open by leftist politicians as they cling
desperately to power.
It has become far too widely accepted that to question Islam means
that one is racist and/or “Islamophobic.” This notion needs to be flatly
rejected. Islamic law mandates that Islam must not to be questioned.
Accepting that the freedom of speech should be curtailed in any way to
suit Muslim sensibilities opens the West to a slow, but deliberate
subjugation to Sharia.

Princeton, and Yale, the Turkish native explained.She said the goal is to put jihadists “in high places [of] power to
dictate what needs to happen in the Western world [and] to Islamise the

Turkey to America to escape from two extremely violent marriages.She said it was when she began working under a Christian employer in America that she found Jesus.

Buckeye, AZ –-(Ammoland.com)- The state of Maryland has prosecuted, convicted, fined,
and sanctioned a pair of political activists for allegedly producing
and delivering an automated phone message thanking a candidate for
taking a particular position on a controversial issue.
Everything
said in the message was true and accurate, but the organization credited
with sponsoring the message was ruled to be invalid, so the disclaimer
at the end of the message declaring the group responsible for the
message, was ruled to be inadequate to meet Maryland’s campaign laws.
The
men, Dennis Fusaro and Stephen Waters, are professional political
consultants who were linked to the robo-calls via a trail of sketchy,
circumstantial evidence. They were sentenced to a year in prison with
all but 30 days suspended, a $1000 fine and 3 years of unsupervised
probation, each, but they are appealing the convictions based on rights
to free speech under the First Amendment and a corollary recognized by
Maryland’s constitution.
The cost and
inconvenience of the appeal will far exceed the sentence, but Fusaro and
Waters say that their prosecution and convictions raise serious
constitutional questions and should not be allowed to stand.
Back in the early days of the Republic our founding fathers valued political speech above all else – even above religious speech
– and they routinely exercised that right anonymously. But today in
America, campaign contributions, political advertisements, and producing
electioneering materials are tightly regulated, and unlike voting, they
require identification. Of course anonymous political speech hasn’t
gone away completely. We still have some semblance of anonymity on the
internet, even though true anonymity online is very difficult, if not
impossible, to achieve. The rich and powerful can still hide behind
front-groups and layers of PACs and bundlers to conceal their
involvement, but for Joe Average American, anonymous political speech is
difficult and can be a criminal offense.
The gatekeepers of free
speech in Maryland disapproved of the message they attributed to Fusaro
and Waters during a County Council race in 2014. The message did not
advocate for or against any candidate, but did mention a candidate by
name, highlighting his support of a controversial, transsexual rights
bill. And while the message did include a statement of responsibility,
the bureaucrats were unable to locate the group credited with
authorizing it. The contention is that Fusaro and Waters created a “fictitious”
group, wrote a script, kicked in a couple of hundred dollars, and paid
for the calls to be recorded and delivered to county residents. Even if
this contention is true – which Waters and Fusaro have never admitted –
an informal association requires no paperwork or registration for it to
be a legal entity. Anyone can form an ad hoc association based solely on
the agreement of its members without any sort of government sanction.
So if Fusaro and Waters created an association, to deliver a message,
the statement of authorization in the ad crediting the association for
the robo-calls and disavowing authorization by any other candidate,
committee, or party, should be sufficient to meet the legal requirements.
If
Mike Bloomberg wants to impact a local political race, as he frequently
does, he doesn’t buy a billboard or send out postcards with the message “I’m Mike Bloomberg and I paid for this political hit-piece.”
Instead, one of his minions finds a few local people – or just moves to
town and declares herself a local – and creates a front-group with a
misleading name like “Nevadans for Gun Safety.”
Then
Bloomberg gives money to Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America or
Everytown for Gun Safety – or one of their various subsidiary or related
organizations – which then passes the money on to the astroturf “local group” to buy ads saying what Bloomberg wants said.
That is considered perfectly acceptable by the political speech police in Maryland and elsewhere.
What Fusaro and Waters were accused of was no different.
The
penalty he meted out to the two activists was even harsher than the
prosecution had requested, because he said a message needed to be sent
to future scofflaws who might want to express a political belief without
clearly identifying themselves.
Legal observers say the case is
unusual in several respects, and that it appears that Maryland is
intentionally using the case to establish some legal precedents to make
it easier to control political speech in the future. The large volume of
existing case-law regarding free speech can be confusing and
contradictory. Adding another layer to limit rights would not be a good
thing.
Fusaro and Waters’ case has attracted some attention and
assistance from a few civil rights groups, but none of the heavy hitters
like the ACLU have waded into the case, probably due to the fact that
Waters and Fusaro tend to advocate for “conservative” and libertarian positions that are not looked upon favorably by “liberal,” legal assistance groups.
The
message itself, and who delivered it, should have no bearing on the
legal case. There is no argument that the message was true and accurate.
The only real bone of contention is attribution of the call to an
informal organization that couldn’t be easily tracked down and its
members identified.

The Communist Chinese government is planning a massive
expansion of the country’s Marine Corps to better project its power
globally, according to military insiders.
Chinese
President Xi Jinping has regularly expressed his desire to better
project military power overseas, and experts suggest such a goal
necessitates a move away from China’s traditional military reliance on
ground forces.
The plan under consideration would increase the
number of personnel in the People’s Liberation Army Navy Marine Corps
from approximately 20,000 to 100,000; the increase in personnel would be
accompanied by a reduction to the People’s Liberation Army’s ground
forces.
“The PLA marines will be increased to 100,000, consisting of six
brigades in the coming future to fulfill new missions of our country,”
an unnamed military source told the South China Morning Post.
“The
expanded corps is part of a wider push to refocus the world’s largest
army away from winning a land war based on sheer numbers and towards
meeting a range of security scenarios using highly specialised units.
Towards that end, Chinese President Xi Jinping is reducing the size of
the People’s Liberation Army by 300,000, with nearly all of the cuts
coming from the land forces.”
Chinese Marine units traditionally
operated along the country’s coastline, given their lack of personnel
and aging heavy military equipment. Most units are still equipped with
the Type 59 main battle tank, first introduced into service in 1959, as
well as amphibious tanks and armored personnel carriers introduced in
the 1960s.
President Jinping likely intends to turn the Chinese
Marine Corps into an overseas expeditionary force, similar to the United
States Marines Corps and the United Kingdom’s Royal Marines, to enforce
his country’s “One Belt, One Road” policy.
An
expanded Marine Corps would allow China to station forces at key ports
with a sizable Chinese presence, most notably in Djibouti, Pakistan, and
Sri Lanka. The naval base in Djibouti is significant given its key
strategic location on the Horn of Africa and close proximity to Camp
Lemonnier, an American military base at the country’s international
airport.
“Besides its original missions of a possible war with
Taiwan, maritime defense in the East and South China seas, it’s also
foreseeable that the PLA Navy’s mission will expand overseas, including
protection of China’s national security in the Korean peninsula, the
country’s maritime lifelines, as well as offshore supply deports like in
Djibouti and Gwadar port in Pakistan,” said Li Xiaojiang, a former navy
political commissar.

From the beginning, there have been several things that have bothered me about
Donald Trump. Perhaps my biggest concerns have always been how genuine Trump
is and, if he is genuine, how much he truly understands about “the swamp” he
promised to drain.
Where,
oh where, are Donald Trump’s manly parts?No one has
seen them. There are no solid leads. Every jar in the 202 and 212
area codes has been inspected, and they’re not there. There
are rumors that Trump was really being wire-tapped in an attempt
to find out where he lost them, but that cannot be confirmed or
denied. We’re barely halfway through the first 100 days, and
already Trump has backed down on the following:•
He’s not going to arrest “crooked Hillary” and
“locker her up” after all.•
He’s not going to repeal Obama’s unconstitutional (see
that as illegal) executive amnesty (DACA) after all.•
After saying throughout the campaign it was weak and dumb
to show your plans and give a heads up to your enemies, his new
(and watered down) immigration executive order gives jihadists a
10-day warning before being implemented.•
He’s siding with weak House GOP leadership in not repealing
Obamacare as promised, and instead replacing it with something that
could even be worse.•
His RNC leadership team looks like a Who’s Who of the establishment,
including the name Henry Barbour. The man who orchestrated one of
the worst betrayals ever of the grassroots–the literal stealing
of the 2014 Mississippi senate primary.•
He still hasn’t lifted a finger to protect religious liberty.
No repeal of the Johnson Amendment. No executive order. Not even
a reference in his recent congressional speech to the Left’s
attempt to destroy the lives of believers like Barronelle Stutzman.
