Faithless Federalists: Why “Hamilton Electors” May Face Prosecution

 Published on Dec 15, 2016

Leftist
progs (“progressives”) have always despised examining the written
Constitution & original documents for intent, appealing instead to a
“living document” view of the law — judicial decrees divorced from
text. But now, after first railing against the “unfairness” of the
Electoral College, they are trying to overthrow the legitimate election
by appealing to Hamilton’s Federalist paper, calling themselves
“Hamilton Electors”. David Knight shows how this revisionist
view of the Electoral College is as phony as the “Hamilton” play they
want to channel, and why most electors who allow themselves to be played
by the progs will find they leave themselves open to criminal charges
of perjury and election fraud.

“When he was asked by his host if he sincerely believed that Iran
means what it says, that it wants to destroy Israel, he answered, ‘Yes, I
do believe it.’”

That’s good, because they do believe it, and any who doubts that is
fostering a dangerous complacency. Get the details of how deeply they
believe it, and what they’re doing about it, in my book The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Iran.

“Netanyahu to Iran: ‘Don’t threaten Israel, we’re a tiger not a rabbit,’” by Yossi Melman and Daniel J. Roth, Jerusalem Post, December 14, 2016:

ASTANA, Kazakhstan — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu
[sic] conveyed a message to Iran on Wednesday, warning the Islamic
Republic’s leaders, “Don’t threaten us, we are not a rabbit we are a
tiger. If you threaten us you endanger yourself.”

Netanyahu sent the message after being asked during his visit to
Kazakhstan by President Nursultan Nazarbayev if he wants to send a
message to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who was scheduled to visit
Kazakhstan next week.

Netanyahu added that if Iran changes its policy and its attitude to Israel, “We will change ours.”

When he was asked by his host if he sincerely believed that Iran
means what it says, that it wants to destroy Israel, he answered, “Yes, I
do believe it.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Israel will not exist 25 years from now.

Hours before Netanyahu’s statement, Khamenei claimed that the
“liberation of Palestine” remains the number one issue facing the Muslim
world despite the numerous conflicts currently destabilizing the Middle
East.

Khamenei made the comments during a meeting with the head of
Palestinian terror organization Islamic Jihad in Tehran, according to
semi-official Iranian news agency Press TV.

“Despite being engaged in certain regional issues, the Islamic
Republic has always announced explicitly that Palestine is the number
one issue in the Muslim world and has fulfilled its obligations in this
regard,” Khamenei told the group’s leader, Ramadan Abdullah Shalah.

The Iranian leader continued by stating that the “only way to
liberate the holy city of al-Quds is struggle and resistance,” while
adding “other solutions are useless and futile.”

Al-Quds is the Arabic word for Jerusalem.

Khamenei also rejected claims that religious issues were at the heart
of regional tensions, casting blame on the United States and its
allies.

“The Sunni people of Aleppo, Mosul and other cities are being
slaughtered by the Takfiri criminals, therefore, these crises have
nothing to do with Sunnis or Shias,” the leader said.

Takfir is a Muslim who accuses another Muslim of apostasy.

Instability in the region, Khamenei insisted, was the fault of the
United States and its interference in the affairs of Middle East
countries, describing Washington as “the most arrogant [power] and the
Great Evil.”

The comments came a day after Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said
that the only option left for Palestinians in the pursuit of an
independent state was “jihad,” Iranian news agency Fars reported.

“Today, the world public opinion is faced with this strong argument
that the Zionist regime has never been after peace, and this argument
and reasoning should be used to show that there is no way, but jihad and
resistance for the Palestinians against the usurper regime,” he said to
Shalah during their meeting on Tuesday….

This is the perfidy of American Jewish leadership. These cowards and
collaborators have turned their back on their people and aligned with
the Jew-hating jihad force. They attack proud Jews while licking the
boots of Jewish annihilationists.

This is hardly new for the AJC. They refused to condemn Hakim Muhammad (aka Keith Ellison), a fierce hater of Israel.

The AJC partners with notorious the Muslim Brotherhood front, the
Islamic Society of North America. They’re helping to rebuild the Orlando
mass murderer’s mosque. Why don’t  they contribute to AFDI instead?

American Jewish Committee Donates to Rebuilding of Pulse Killer’s Mosque

By Daniel Greenfield, FPM, December 14, 2016:

I wrote about the bizarre alliance between the AJC and ISNA back in November.

The Islamic Society of North America was named by the
Justice Department as an unindicted co-conspirator in funding Hamas. It
was linked to two Hamas funding fronts, the Holy Land Foundation and
KindHearts. ISNA’s checks were made payable to the “Palestinian
Mujahadeen” or “Holy Warriors” which was a name used by Hamas.

ISNA’s co-founder Sami Al-Arian was the local head of Palestinian
Islamic Jihad and Mousa Abu Marzook, a top Hamas official listed by the
Treasury Department as a Specially Designated Terrorist, received tens
of thousands of dollars from ISNA.

This should have come as no surprise as both ISNA and Hamas are arms of the Muslim Brotherhood.

But the American Jewish Committee has decided to team up with the
financiers of the murder of Jews to oppose Trump. The left wing Jewish
group and an Islamist organization that wrote out checks to Islamic
terrorists enabling them to kill Jews have formed the “Muslim-Jewish
Advisory Council”.

A key figure in this Hamas-AJC relationship is Robert Silverman.

Heading up the AJC’s effort is Robert Silverman.
Silverman is a State Department veteran with plenty of experience in the
Muslim world. From the start he seemed far more intent on agitating on
behalf of Muslims and against the critics of Islam than for Jews.

His pitch to Jews was collaborate now and perhaps our new Muslim overlords will be grateful.

“Showing support at this critical time will lead to good results for
the Jewish people down the road,” Silverman said. It didn’t work with
Mohammed or in Israel or Europe. But it’s bound to work this time.

Meanwhile Silverman retweeted a message of approval from Glenn
Greenwald who had criticized the inclusion of Hamas and Hezbollah on the
terror list and described them as being “dedicated to protecting their
citizens against the State of Israel.” He complained, “and yet it is
criminal in the United States to do anything that is deemed to be
material support for Hamas and Hezbollah.”

Instead of fighting anti-Semitism, the American Jewish Committee was allying with anti-Semites.

Now Silverman has pulled off a bizarre visit to aid in the rebuilding of the mosque of the shooter responsible for the worst act of Islamic terror this year.

In a gesture of solidarity and friendship, the American
Jewish Committee (AJC) has made a donation to help rebuild the Islamic
Center of Fort Pierce, Florida, severely damaged in an arson attack in
September.

“An attack on any house of worship is an affront to all Americans,
regardless of their religious affiliation,” said Robert Silverman, AJC
Director of Muslim-Jewish Relations. “Burning a mosque is a hate crime
condemned by the entire American Jewish community.”

Silverman traveled to Fort Pierce to present the AJC donation to Imam
Syed Shafeeq Ur Rahman, director of the Islamic Center, and also to
address the congregation during Friday prayers.

There is no mention anywhere in the article of the story behind this particular mosque. Here’s a little of that missing context courtesy of an investigation by Joe Kaufman and Bella Rabinowitz.

Weeks ago, the mosque made the news, following the
murders of 49 innocent people at Orlando’s Pulse LGBT nightclub by one
of the mosque’s congregants. This had been the second large scale
terrorist attack linked to the mosque in as many years.

And, oh yes…

Both Abu-Salha and Mateen were acquaintances and members
of the Fort Pierce mosque. Reports state that the two were in regular
communication with one another. Although the imam Shafeeq Rahman has
claimed that Mateen hardly ever came to the mosque’s Friday services,
Mateen was a regular attendee on Fridays. Indeed, Mateen was at the
mosque with his father only two nights prior to the shooting attack.

And he was with his father just hours before the shooting.

Mateen’s father, Seddique Mir Mateen, who is originally from
Afghanistan, has been affiliated with ICFP since early in the mosque’s
history. He had been taking his son Omar there since Omar was a child.
In fact, Seddiqui held the position of Vice President of ICFP from July
2006 through May 2008.

Seddique, like his late son, is a supporter of terrorists,
specifically the Taliban. In a video that he uploaded to YouTube, he
describes the Taliban as “warriors.” He states, “Our brothers in
Waziristan, our warrior brothers in [the] Taliban movement and national
Afghan Taliban are rising up.”

The Fort Pierce radical mosque has produced a suicide bomber, an
individual who has committed the deadliest mass shooting in US history,
and a Taliban supporter who was the Vice President of the mosque.

This is whom Robert Silverman and the AJC are climbing into a
loathesome bed with. While practicing blatant historical revisionism.

“When Jews were persecuted in Europe during the time of
the Inquisition centuries ago, they took shelter in Islamic lands.
Welcoming those refugees was an act of kindness that will never be
forgotten by the Jewish people. Today, AJC is honored to give back in a
small, symbolic way,” Silverman told the congregation.

Jews had been persecuted in Spain by Muslims, long before that.
Mohammed had begun persecuting the Jews long before even that. Muslim
oppression of Jews has continued for over a thousand years. Under
Islamic rule Jews were exploited, oppressed, persecuted, massacred and
ethnically cleansed far too many times to count. Their children were
stolen, their holy places were seized and their blood was shed.

This is what Robert Silverman is thanking Islam for.

JOHN KASICH, OHIO GOVERNOR, VETOES BILL BANNING ABORTIONS IF FETAL HEARTBEAT IS DETECTABLE

JOHN KASICH, OHIO GOVERNOR, VETOES BILL BANNING ABORTIONS IF FETAL HEARTBEAT
IS DETECTABLE
BY WARREN MASS
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

On December 13, Ohio Governor John Kasich (shown) vetoed the
Heartbeat Bill, which would have banned abortion once a fetal heartbeat
can be detected. Kasich’s veto was of the “line-item” type and was
accomplished by means of “veto messages” that disapproved of two items
contained in Amended Substitute House Bill 493. The “heartbill bill” —
as the abortion ban was commonly called — was part of Item Number 1.

In his message, Kasich offered the following explanation for vetoing that portion of the appropriation bill:

As governor I have worked hard to
strengthen Ohio’s protections for the sanctity of human life, and I have
deep respect for my fellow members of the pro-life community and their
ongoing efforts in defense of unborn life. Certain provisions that were
amended into Am. Sub. HB 493, however, are clearly contrary to the
Supreme Court of the United States’ current rulings on abortion.
Similar legislation enacted in two other
states has twice been declared unconstitutional by federal judges, and
the Supreme Court declined to review those decisions. Because the
federal courts are bound to follow the Supreme Court’s ruling on
abortion, the amendment to Am. Sub. HB 493 will be struck down. The
State of Ohio will be the losing party in that lawsuit and, as the
losing party, the State of Ohio will be forced to pay hundreds of
thousands of taxpayer dollars to cover the legal fees for the pro-choice
activists’ lawyers. Furthermore, such a defeat invites additional
challenges to Ohio’s strong legal protections for unborn life.
Therefore, this veto is in the public interest.

The two similar laws passed by other states that Kasich referred to
were passed by North Dakota and Arkansas in 2013, but struck down by
separate rulings by the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 2014 and
2015.

Both states’ attempts to appeal the decisions to the Supreme Court
were rejected in January, when the high court declined to review the
cases.

However, Kasich’s decision to veto the item containing the
“heartbeat” provision might be described as both pragmatic and
fatalistic. It was pragmatic because he indicated that part of his
rationale for the veto is that an unsuccessful lawsuit might cost
“hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars.” By so stating, Kasich put a
price tag on human life. How much is a human life worth? If the lives
of thousands of unborn babies might have been saved by the legislation,
then an arbitrary price of a hundred dollars per life might be
considered a bargain by many pro-life activists.

Kasich’s emphatic presumption that “Am. Sub. HB 493 will be struck down” (not might be struck down, but will
be struck down) is a sort of fatalistic pessimism that — if allowed to
metastasize— might doom the entire pro-life movement. Pro-life
legislation, from the time of Roe v Wade in 1973, has more
often than not been struck down by federal judges. However, the
difference between victory and defeat in the history of warfare is that
those who are ultimately victorious has picked themselves up after each
defeat and gone on to win. As Theodore Roosevelt once said:

Far better it is to dare mighty things,
to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take
rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much,
because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor
defeat.

The Ohio legislators who added the heartbeat language to the
appropriations bill were not naïve. They knew there was a chance that a
federal judge might find the legislation unconstitutional. But they knew
that there was also a chance that the bill might pass constitutional
muster. Judges are unpredictable. Considering this, the pro-life
legislators thought it was worth their while to seek victory, rather
than run up a white flag in anticipation of defeat. When Ohio Senate
President Keith Faber was asked by the Columbus Dispatch why the “heartbeat” measure was quickly and unexpectedly passed, despite opposition from Democrats in the legislature, he said:

A new president, new Supreme Court appointees change the dynamic, and there was consensus in our caucus to move forward.
I think it has a better chance [to received favorable constitutional review by the courts] than it did before.

The Dispatch reported that the Heartbeat Bill had passed the
Senate by a veto-proof margin (21-10), but it did not do so in the
House (56-39). Therefore three-fifths of lawmakers in the House (60)
would have to vote to override a veto. If votes remained the same as the
initial vote, there is insufficient support to override the governor’s
veto.

Janet Porter, head of the conservative Christian group Faith2Action,
which had lobbied for a Heartbeat Bill for years, said after the veto:
“It’s not over. We are two votes away [in the House] from overriding
Gov. Kasich’s betrayal of life.” Porter said she believes two
legislators not present for last week’s vote would now vote to override
Kasich’s veto, so she will be looking for two more votes in the House.

On the same day he vetoed the heartbeat portion of the appropriations
bill, Kasich signed into law a second bill (SB 127) banning abortions
after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

“I agree with Ohio Right to Life and other leading, pro-life
advocates that SB 127 is the best, most legally sound and sustainable
approach to protecting the sanctity of human life,” Kasich said in a
statement. He described himself as working hard “to strengthen Ohio’s
protections for the sanctity of human life.”

In a statement quoted by the Dispatch, Ohio Right to Life
President Michael Gonidakis supported Kasich’s decision to veto the
Heartbeat Bill, which the group opposed.

“The 20-week ban was nationally designed to be the vehicle to end
abortion in America. It challenges the current national abortion
standard and properly moves the legal needle from viability to the
baby’s ability to feel pain,” he said.

“Given the current make-up of the United States Supreme Court,
Governor Kasich got it right by embracing the strategic incremental
approach to ending abortion,” Gonidakis said.

Senate Bill 127 specifically forbids termination of “a human
pregnancy of a pain-capable unborn child.” The fact that it is an
improvement over current Ohio state law, which forbids abortions after
24 weeks, probably explains the group’s support for it. However, a more
zealous pro-life supporter might consider this strategy to be similar to
a football play that opts for an easy field goal instead of attempting a
more difficult touchdown.

In its coverage of Kasich’s action, Lifenews.com, a leading pro-life
website, put the governor’s signing of the 20-week bill In bright lights
in the headline, and mentioned his veto of the heartbeat bill in the
article in language that accepted his reasoning without challenge.

After quoting from Kasich’s statement linking his veto to a similar position from Ohio Right to Life,” the LifeNews report said:

Because the heartbeat-based abortion ban
will not likely survive a legal challenge in court, pro-life legislators
approved the 20-week abortion ban with the hope of saving as many
babies as possible under Roe v. Wade.
The pro-life group Ohio Right to Life
thanked Kasich for signing the 20-week ban — saying it would save
hundreds of babies from abortions.

The article went on to quote Ohio Right to Life’s effusive praise of
Kasich’s decision to sign the easier bill and veto the more difficult
one. Part of the quote stated:

Ohio Right to Life supports Governor
Kasich’s decision to bypass the heartbeat legislative approach at this
time. While it must have been difficult, the current make-up of a
radically pro-abortion Supreme Court required the Governor to exercise
great restraint. Further, filling the current vacancy on the Court by
our next President will still leave the court with a pro-abortion
majority….
By endorsing the 20-week ban in lieu of
the heartbeat approach, Governor Kasich provided strong pro-life
leadership to finally engage a winnable battle with the federal
judiciary while saving countless babies at the same time.

As noted above, not all pro-lifers agree with Ohio Right to Life,
including Janet Porter, head of Faith2Action, who called the veto “Gov.
Kasich’s betrayal of life.”

TRUMP’S PICK FOR SECRETARY OF STATE, REX TILLERSON, “KEY LEADER” IN ENDING BOY SCOUT BAN ON OPEN HOMOSEXUALS
BY HEATHER CLARK
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:
 WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald
Trump announced on Tuesday that he had selected Exxon Mobil’s Rex
Tillerson to serve as secretary of state, a move that some Christians
have found to be concerning as Tillerson was considered a “key leader”
in ending the ban on open homosexuals in the Boy Scouts and runs a
company whose employee gift matching program includes donations to
Planned Parenthood.

“I have chosen one of the truly great business leaders of
the world, Rex Tillerson, Chairman and CEO of Exxon Mobil, to be
Secretary of State,” Trump Tweeted early Tuesday morning.

“His tenacity, broad experience and deep understanding of
geopolitics make him an excellent choice for secretary of state,” he
also said in an official statement. “Rex knows how to manage a global
enterprise, which is crucial to running a successful State Department,
and his relationships with leaders all over the world are second to
none.”

Tillerson has served as the president of ExxonMobil since
2004, and was president of the Boy Scouts of America from 201-2012.
According to reports, Tillerson, who continued to serve on the board
after his tenure, was instrumental in the organization’s decision to
allow openly homosexual scouts and leaders.

“I can’t get into the intimacy of these conversations, but
he agonized over this. He prayed on it, and ultimately he came to the
conclusion the only thing that can guide him here is what’s best for the
young boys,” John Hammer of the Center for Strategic and International
Studies told the Dallas News in 2014. “I think he became a key leader in
helping the group come to a consensus.”

The Baptist Press also reported in 2013 that Tillerson, a
Congregationalist, met with the Southern Baptist Convention’s Frank
Page, and explained why he believed the Boy Scout’s policy on open
homosexuals should be overturned.

“There are changing cultural winds on the issue of
homosexuality, Tillerson said,” the outlet reported. “Local scouting
organizations would retain control over their local leadership, he said,
and national gatherings of scouts would accommodate troops who don’t
have gay leaders.”

Groups such as 2ndVote have also listed Tillerson’s
ExxonMobil as being a donor to Planned Parenthood, although the company
states that it only donates via its employee matching program.

“ExxonMobil funding for Planned Parenthood organizations
have been made through our employee/retiree matching gift and volunteer
programs, which exist to support our employees and retirees in their
personal philanthropic giving and community involvement,” the company
stated last year. “ExxonMobil’s giving through these programs is based
entirely on employees and retirees’ support for these organizations and
does not reflect ExxonMobil’s philanthropic priorities or support for
community causes.”

On Monday, Tony Perkins of Family Research Council, who had
supported Trump’s candidacy, said that Trump’s consideration of
Tillerson “should be particularly alarming to conservatives who’ve spent
the last eight years watching the State Department lead the global
parade for the slaughter of innocent unborn children and the
intimidation of nations with natural views on marriage and sexuality.”

“Trump calls Rex a ‘world class player and dealmaker,’ but
if these are the kinds of deals Tillerson makes—sending dollars to an
abortion business that’s just been referred for criminal prosecution and
risking the well-being of young boys under his charge in an attempt to
placate radical homosexual activists—then who knows what sort of
‘diplomacy’ he would champion at DOS?” he asked.

SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE ASKS FBI, DEPT. OF JUSTICE TO INVESTIGATE PLANNED PARENTHOOD & THEIR BUSINESS PARTNERS

SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE ASKS FBI, DEPT. OF JUSTICE TO INVESTIGATE PLANNED PARENTHOOD & THEIR BUSINESS PARTNERS
BY HEATHER CLARK

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:
 WASHINGTON —
The chairman of the Senate
Judiciary Committee is asking the FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice
to conduct an investigation into the abortion giant Planned Parenthood
and several of its business partners for possible criminal prosecution.

Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa issued a letter and report
on Tuesday to both Attorney General Loretta Lynch and FBI Director
James Comey, outlining the findings of the Committee that point to
unlawful sales of baby body parts between both Planned Parenthood and
three of its buyers. He scolded the government for not doing its job.

“I don’t take lightly making a criminal referral, but the
seeming disregard for the law by these entities has been fueled by
decades of utter failure by the Justice Department to enforce it,”
he said in a statement. “And, unless there is a renewed commitment by
everyone involved against commercializing the trade in aborted fetal
body parts for profit, then the problem is likely to continue.”

Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Planned Parenthood Los
Angeles, Planned Parenthood Northern California and Planned Parenthood
of the Pacific Southwest are all named in the referral, as well as
StemExpress, Advanced Bioscience Resources and Novogenics Laboratories.

Grassley notes that not only does he believe the entities
are culpable, but that when the national Planned Parenthood Federation
of America learned that its affiliates were not in compliance with
federal law, “instead of exercising its oversight procedures to bring
them into compliance, it contacted the affiliates involved and then
altered those oversight procedures in a manner that allowed the
affiliates’ conduct to continue.”

Specifically, the Committee notes in its report
that StemExpress, Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR) and Novogenics
Laboratories purchased the bodily organs of aborted babies from the
Planned Parenthood locations, and then resold them at substantially
higher prices. The organizations are also accused of hiking the prices
above costs for “transportation, implantation, processing, preservation,
quality control or storage of” the body parts.

“[I]n June of 2014, an ABR technician obtained a 20-week-old
fetus at a Planned Parenthood clinic, for which it paid $60,” the
report outlines. “From that one fetus, ABR sold its brain to one
customer for $325, both of its eyes for $325 each ($650 total) to a
second customer, a portion of its liver for $325 to a third customer,
its thymus for $325 and another portion of its liver for $325 to a
fourth customer, and its lung for $325 to a fifth customer.”

In addition to making over $2,200 from just one baby, ABR
also charged shipping and disease screening fees, making over $6,000
from a single child. A technician from ABR would go to Planned
Parenthood and personally collect the aborted babies on site the day of
the procedures.

StemExpress is accused of similar actions, paying Planned
Parenthood $55 for a baby and then selling his or her body parts for
$250 each, making $1000 from just one child.

The Committee also noted that despite Planned Parenthood’s
“constant statements to the media that [its] affiliates had merely been
recovering their costs” in receiving payment from ABR, StemExpress and
other companies, its attorneys told the investigative Congressional
panel that the Planned Parenthood offices only sought to determine their
costs after-the-fact in light of national scrutiny.

“Around that time, Planned Parenthood announced it would no
longer accept any payments in connection with its fetal tissue transfer
programs,” Grassley wrote.

The criminal referral is now the eighth to be announced by Congress. As previously reported,
earlier this month, Rep. Mia Love (R-Utah) announced that the Select
Panel on Infant Lives had referred Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast to
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for possible criminal prosecution for
allegedly selling bodily organs to the University of Texas.
