The FBI just released notes from its July 2 interview with Hillary Clinton about her use of a private, unsecured email server during her tenure as secretary of State. Their findings don’t look good for Clinton.
Days after the interview, which was not recorded, FBI director James Comey publicly held a press conference urging the Department of Justice not to press any criminal charges against Clinton, despite her “extremely careless” handling of classified information.
In the FBI report, Clinton made statements that appear to either contradict her earlier remarks about the email scandal or to be flat-out lies.
Clinton has repeatedly said she has turned over all of her work-related emails on her private server, but the FBI report stated they found 17,448 emails she failed to turn over to the Inspector General.
Several weeks after the initial New York Times story broke in March 2015, revealing the existence of Clinton’s private email server, a bunch of these emails were deleted.
Clinton told the FBI that she didn’t pay attention to the different levels of classification, and that she didn’t understand that an email containing a “(C)” meant “classified,” but that she thought they were marked “alphabetical order.”
Her claims of ignorance — whether they’re true or not — violate an agreement she signed during her first day on the job in the State Department.
From the very beginning of her tenure as secretary of State, Clinton signed a non-disclosure agreement acknowledging that it was her responsibility to ascertain whether documents contained classified information. She also acknowledged the criminal penalties she would face if she disclosed government secrets.
In 2011, State Department employees reportedly received a memo sent on Clinton’s behalf warning them against using personal email accounts for official business, as it could put sensitive information at risk. She told the FBI she didn’t remember sending that memo.
Whenever she upgraded to a new device, the State Department would sometimes lose track of her old ones. On two occasions, staffers destroyed her old devices by beating it with a hammer.
Throughout her time in the State Department, Hillary Clinton went through13 different Blackberry devices — none of which she found or turned over to the FBI.
Former secretary of State Colin Powell warned Clinton about the dangers of using a personal device, because if it came out, then all her private emails would be subject to public scrutiny — a conversation she refuses to talk about publicly.

Billionaire statist George Soros has been helping Obama and globalist forces to federalize control over American police forces under the guise of pushing “criminal justice reform,” hacked e-mails and documents from his shadowy Open Society “philanthropic” empire revealed. From funneling tens of millions to radical activist groups and race-mongers to building what leaked documents refer to as a “national movement” to “reform” law-enforcement and working with the White House to do it, Soros fingerprints can be found all over the growing anti-police chaos that has enveloped U.S. cities in recent years. The agenda is clear: stripping communities of self-government and imposing federal cops.
The Soros plot outlined in Open Society Foundation documents involves, among other elements, helping Obama impose his United Nations-backed “guidelines” and “standards” on American police departments — at least at first. Eventually, the goal is to impose a national police force on America accountable not to local communities, as has traditionally and constitutionally been the case for centuries, but to the increasingly lawless federal executive branch. The implications for freedom and self-government of transferring control over police to the White House are massive.
As The New American has been reporting for decades, the establishment’s long-term goal is to centralize all coercive power in its own hands. A national police force — or at least federally controlled state and local police departments — are a crucial component of that agenda. While grassroots efforts  and constitutional limitations on federal power have made the goal hard to achieve, the Obama administration has made more progress on nationalizing law-enforcement than any other president in U.S. history. Soros, widely ridiculed as “Dr. Evil” by critics, has helped in a major way.
Unsurprisingly, Soros minions celebrated Obama’s efforts in the leaked documents, and sought to capitalize on and support them. In particular, the decision-makers of the billionaire’s U.S. programs touted the 60 “recommendations” issued by the so-called President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing, a radical outfit created by an executive order from Obama. They call that effort “promising,” and note that one of Soros’ minions on his board even served on the task force. The report also noted that “a number of grantees” receiving Soros largess testified at the hearings.
Essentially, and unsurprisingly, Obama’s “task force” outlined various strategies the federal government could use to usurp control over local police departments. Those strategies included, perhaps most infamously, recommendations that bribes (“federal grants”) be used to trap local officials into obeying the White House by making sure the “grants” come with strings attached. Soros’ agents lament the federal government’s “limited authority to dictate reform at the local level,” but nonetheless celebrate efforts to “ensure effective implementation” of Obama’s radical agenda among local police agencies.
The plot involves getting local police departments and law-enforcement agencies to accept federal money for various purposes — usually not even very much money. Once they accept it, they would supposedly be bound by Obama’s “guidelines” and “standards.” The strategy is not new and was used earlier in the administration’s tenure on education. The similarities led critics to blast the “ObamaCops” program, a reference to the extraordinarily unpopular Common Core, also known as “ObamaCore,” an Obama-backed plot to nationalize education standards imposed with bribes and bludgeoning from the White House.   
Other Obama police schemes touted by Soros’ minions included the Policing Data Initiative, in which the feds would hand out taxpayer money to local police in exchange for submission to uniform federal data-gathering and -sharing standards. The document also celebrates the increasingly radicalized Justice Department’s“pilot programs” to hijack control over police in six American cities. The plot involves developing federal guidance for local cops and deploying federal “experts” to do everything from “fight crime” and “build trust” to “reduce bias.” Other cities have been bullied, threatened, and terrorized by the administration into submission using “consent decrees.”  
Operatives for Soros, a protegé of the powerful Rothschild banking dynasty, were only too happy to help. “We are gaining a better understanding of these efforts in order to determine how best USP [Soros foundations’ U.S. Programs] can use this moment to create a national movement,” the hacked document explained. “We have already had a set of preliminary conversations with about a dozen key stakeholders and will undertake a field scan to map the areas of work currently underway to advance police reform, including an assessment of the redundancies and gaps in work, and opportunities for collaboration. As we proceed, we will engage the funder network we helped to establish.”
In other words, Soros, who has dumped tens of millions into fomenting riots, hate, and dangerous anti-police extremism, was seeking to build an AstroTurf (fake grassroots) “national movement” to support Obama’s unconstitutional efforts to usurp control over Americans’ local police departments. To that end, leaked documents show that Soros and his minions have been showering huge amounts of money on “Black Lives Matter” and other outfits with similar agendas — and then blatantly lying to the public about it when confronted.    
The document also outlines a discussion on exploiting alleged “police abuse” to create first “local reform,” and then see how and if that can be “leveraged into a national movement.” Such a scheme will require “frank discussion” about the strengths and weaknesses of “the field of policing reform advocates” and “the possibilities on the national federal landscape for reform,” the document says. “We are aiming to get board guidance on the direction a committed effort on our part might take.”
The Soros minions also explain how the puppets receiving Soros money were being exploited to push stronger federal control over police. The radical Soros front groups were “pushing the Justice Department to use its existing authority [sic] to place conditions on the funding it provides to local police departments, requiring basic elements of good practice in exchange for federal funds,” the document says, with “good practice” meaning whatever Soros and Obama — not local voters — want your police department to do. While lamenting that even a “progressive” attorney general has not done everything they want, Soros’ agents boast that they are using their “key grantees” to keep up the pressure.
As if to confirm the thesis of an article published by The New American magazine in its September, 14, 2015 “Police Under Fire” Special Issue, the recently leaked document also outlines Soros’ strategy to use “pressure from above and below” to achieve the extremist’s objectives. For example, the report outlines an “Inside strategy” in which Soros minions seek to “better engage law enforcement and governmental leadership.” This is also known as “lobbying,” or pressure from above.  
Then there is what the document calls the “Outside strategy” in which Soros showers money on fake grassroots efforts to create the appearance of public support for Soros’ extremist anti-police, anti-liberty, anti-American agenda. “Another layer of grassroots and youth-oriented groups like Freedom Side, Ferguson Action, Black Lives Matter, and Million Hoodies Movement for Justice are also advocating for specific reforms,” the document explained. Another Soros document shows Soros provided $650,000 to “invest in technical assistance and support for the groups at the core of the burgeoning #BlackLivesMatter movement.” And that is just the tip of the iceberg. The Washington Times recently reported that more than $33 million in grants to the Black Lives Matter moverment comes from Soros’ Open Society Foundations.
In addition to Soros and Obama, the UN has also joined the effort to fundamentally transform America by, among other schemes, nationalizing America’s police departments. “The Civil Rights Division of the [U.S.] Department of Justice has provided oversight and recommendations for improvement of police services in a number of cities with consent decrees,” the UN “Special Rapporteur” from Kenya said after a ludicrous UN “investigation” of the United States. “This is one of the most effective ways to reduce discrimination in law enforcement and it needs to be beefed up and increased to cover as many of the 18,000-plus local law enforcement jurisdictions.”
Close Obama confidant and radical race hustler Al Sharpton, who was caught on film urging supporters to start “offing the pigs,” has called for the same measures. Speaking last year amid establishment efforts to encourage a race war, Sharpton said the Justice Department should “take over policing in this country.” However, the controversial figure, who owes millions in taxes but regularly visits the Obama White House, acknowledged that “we’re going to have to fight states’ rights.”
Other revelations from the recently hacked documents show that Soros, like the UN and Obama, has been using his money to assault the constitutionally protected rights of Americans. Among other rights in Soros’ crosshairs are gun rights, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, the right to self-government, and more. He has also been exposed recently trying to corrupt Christianity, buy support from Catholic bishops in the United States, promote abortion in Catholic countries, and flood the Western world with Islamic “refugees” from globalist-fueled wars in the Middle East.  
Americans and their elected officials must resist the efforts of Soros and his globalist allies in the Obama administration to take over state and local police departments. That can be accomplished by supporting your local police, and keeping them independent from federal control. Of course, that means local officials must refuse to take federal bribes with strings attached. But American liberty and constitutional self-government may well depend on making sure that the out-of-control federal government is never able to hijack control of Americans’ law-enforcement agencies.

Greg Laurie has been a prominent figure in Christendom for quite some time. He is the senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, CA, one of the largest churches in America. Many have touted him as being the next Billy Graham. In the likeness of Billy Graham’s crusades, Laurie has invested endless efforts in his Harvest Crusades since the early 1990’s, reaching audiences in the hundreds of thousands at every event. Laurie’s popular style of watered-down preaching and making the adulterated Word of God more palatable to the world has helped his empire grow tremendously, and transform Laurie into a celebrity.
As with nearly all celebrity Christian luminaries, there comes a time when the message they deliver has become so devoid of any convicting biblical substance that nearly anyone, whether they profess Christ or not, will be lured in by their seductive charisma. Their following essentially becomes a cult of personality, and their notoriety gains them indiscriminate immunity from nearly all criticism.
Pulpit & Pen recently brought you the follow-up statistics from Greg Laurie’s crusades. Among the thousands of people touted to “make decisions” for Jesus at these gatherings, only 3 to 6 percent of them show any fruits of salvation one year later. Why could this be?Phil Johnson from Grace to You says that Greg Laurie’s current associations are representative of his theological drift, and that his “doctrinal boundaries are so hazy that there’s hardly any variety of popular religion or spiritual chicanery that he won’t align himself with, as long as it calls itself ‘Christian,’ and gains a large following.”
This statement couldn’t be more accurate. Perhaps one of the most spiritually dangerous assemblages of professing Christians this year will be The Gathering. The Gathering is described as a “National Solemn Assembly to unite the Body of Christ in America — all believers, regardless of race, age, or denomination — in prayer for forgiveness, wisdom, and provision for our nation.”
But see, here’s the problem, and what makes this event especially dangerous. The Gathering is filled with many popular names that are accepted in mainstream evangelical circles. Most of these compromised celebrities will speak a little bit of truth mixed with error. They are the bridge between true Christianity and blatantly false Christianity. They are the seducers, who deceive even the elect if that were possible (Matthew 24:24). They are the ones that many sincere but undiscerning followers of Christ will be drawn away by because their books and materials are promoted in their churches.
Many popular names like former Southern Baptist President, Ronnie Floyd, Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of Billy Graham, former ERLC president, Richard Land, the wildly popular Benham Brothers, NAR Apostle Samuel Rodriguez, Word of Faith pastor of Gateway Church, Robert Morris, and other compromisers such as Jack Graham, James Robison, Kay Arthur and Priscilla Shirer….and Greg Laurie.
There are two possibilities here. Either Greg Laurie is so undiscerning that he has no idea that this event is filled with false teachers, Gospel-compromisers, and self-promoting charlatans or he is well aware of their works and sees nothing wrong with them.
The latter is more plausible.
Of course, being praised as “one of the greatest evangelists alive,” by one of the greatest con artists alive, Steven Furtick, is quite telling. Of course, Laurie returns the favor,promoting the arch-heretic, Steven Furtick’s Scripture-denying book, Crash the Chatterbox, on Twitter.
Laurie is an ecumenist–that is, he wants to tear down doctrinal divides between professing Christians and see them join hands under a superficial unity. Laurie took it upon himself to pronounce former presidential candidate, Marco Rubio, saved, even though Rubio unashamedly made it clear that he was fully theologically and doctrinally aligned with the Roman Catholic church. And one of Laurie’s associate pastors, Jeff Lasseigne, claims he has asked Christianity’s greatest enemy of all time, the pope, to pray the upcoming Crusades, while jokingly tapping a bobble-head statue of the pope that he has on display in his office.
Greg Laurie has admitted to involving Roman Catholic churches in his crusades. He recently gave the stage to sedevacantist (SEE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedevacantism) Roman Catholic, Mel Gibson, to promote his upcoming movie. Laurie and his associates at Harvest do not see the damning doctrinal error that the false church of Rome adheres to. With Greg Laurie, it isn’t about sound doctrine and a solid Gospel message that saves–it’s about “filling the stadiums with youth” to “bring about revival.” It’s a numbers game. It’s about “uniting denominations” into a single, watered-down, inoffensive, ear-tickling, man-pleasing entertaining religion of harmonious solidarity.
It’s this doctrinal shift and slide into apostasy that has caused John MacArthur to withdraw his endorsement from the Harvest Crusades. Laurie has stopped preaching the full counsel of God. He does not distinguish himself from other false teachers or distance his message from other false gospels. He has accumulated for himself teachers to suit his own passions (2 Tim 4:3). He is building the false kingdom, and preparing the way for the harlot church to flourish. His gate is very wide, and wide is the gate that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13). The charismatic persona of this man is very seductive and enticing–having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power (2 Tim 3:5). Those who follow him down his path, be warned, it’s not a safe path.

It seems like hardly a week of digital life passes in which I’m not electronically alerted to either the fabulous news that I’ve won the lottery from a small African nation I’ve never visited, or with condolences on the loss of a very wealthy, but otherwise kin-less, relative in Nigeria. “We regret your loss but you are the sole survivor. Please submit your bank account and financial institute’s routing number so we may remit your inheritance.”
Obviously, the spam filter doesn’t always work.  Scams get through.
A lady in Texas, however, recently discovered yet another pathetic, if not laughable, scam during a Facebook encounter with “Pastor Joel Osteen.” The Christian Post reports that she received a message inquiring about whether she “was a true Christian, and did she believe in the Christ Jesus.”
Her positive response to the unsolicited online query resulted in the tremendous offer of a financial windfall from “Pastor Joel Osteen.” (Well, he is sorta like the Bill Gates of false teachers. His net worth is over $50 million and his house … well, it ain’t in my ‘hood!)

If the lady would first merely remit her own funds to an obscure orphanage in Delaware, the pastor would then reward her financial faithfulness with a $35,000 windfall from a recent “big Texas donor” that had “gifted Osteen Ministries.”
Well, that dawg didn’t hunt. The online scammer impersonating the pulpit scammer failed in the attempt. The Facebook account was subsequently deleted.
Lakewood Church, in response to the “Your Best Scam Now” attempt, issued this statement.
“Unfortunately, there are some on social media who masquerade as charitable organizations for the purpose of fraudulently seeking donations. We take this matter seriously and believe it is important for people to know that Lakewood Church never contacts individuals through social media for the purpose of soliciting donations.”
Uh, yeah, okay.  Joel Osteen talking about masquerading is about as jocularly credible as my African lottery win.  But anyway …
According to the article, the diligent policing by Lakewood Church to protect the integrity of the social media presence of Joel and Victoria resulted in the removal of “around 17,000 fake accounts within the last three years.” They hired “an outside firm” just to ensure the digital authenticity of the “church’s” two otherwise inauthentic “pastors.”

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.   (Romans 1:28-31)
Look, it’s a shame that such scammers exist, but a fallen world, hurtling ever more rapidly towards depravity, makes it a Biblically-forewarned reality. The idolatrous worship of money will drive the greedy and ruthless to exhibit absolutely no shame before God or man in pursuing, by any means possible, the acquisition of their god. They will lie, cheat, and steal from anyone and everyone.  Consciences seared, and likely “given up by God,” (Romans 1:24) they emulate the evil one, roaming the earth, (1 Peter 5:8) driven by pride and greed in their selfish efforts to deceive.
The unknowing and unsuspecting targets, if successfully deceived by the scammer, think they are engaging in noble, even Christian, behavior by participating with them, all the while they are being duped by a greedy agent of evil posing as an arbiter of hope.
That slick-talking, hope promising scammer should be ashamed. It’s egregious deception. Scripture condemns those who practice such things and commands believers to be discerning and alert to them.  It’s ungodly and unrighteous. It’s the fruit of an unregenerate soul to attempt to deceive others for worldly gain.
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. For your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, but I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil.  Romans 16:17-19
As Paul advises, such smooth talking flatterers must be repelled by true believers and exposed for their “unfruitful works of darkness.” (Ephesians 5:11)  People should avoid such deceivers and refuse their enticing pleas and false promises of hope and help.  A “repent and believe” Gospel presentation is the proper response for such a scammer …
and that goes not only for Joel Osteen …  it goes for that Facebook scammer too. 
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:15-16)

On Sunday, September 4, 2016, Pope Francis will oversee a papal mass and canonization service for Mother Teresa. Upon completion, she will be known as Saint Teresa of Calcutta to millions of Roman Catholics and affectionate adorers worldwide.  The event falls on the anniversary eve of her death 19 years ago.
There can be little doubt that this woman who was worshipped in life won’t become second only to Mary in idolatrous worship upon the full pronouncement of her sainthood by the throne-sitting apostate vicar of the Tiber.

Many already worship at the relics of Teresa, including a worn pair of her sandals.

While for deceived Roman Catholics Teresa may become a false heavenly intercessor, usurping the role of Christ, for those who know and believe God in His revelation of Scripture, she will be known as the damned follower of an apostate religion that denies the sufficiency of Christ, His Sacred Word, and His sufficient, atoning work. Far from serving as a meritorious icon of faithfulness, she should be seen for what she was during her life, and in her death – an unregenerate soul facing the wrath of God.  Apart from solus Christus, good works, like evil ones, are damning.
But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.  Titus 3:4-7
Barring her unlikely deathbed recantation of her idolatrous worship of Mary and the hopeful salvific benefit of her works-righteousness, universalistic theology, to instead embrace salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, Teresa is not worthy of emulation, mythification, or sanctification. She is not a saint in death because she was not a saint in life. By the grace of Christ alone, through the gift of faith (Ephesians 2:8) one is made a saint, not through Mary, not the pope, not legions of other such canonized idols of an apostate religion, not through a lifetime of good works.
The popular mythology that has built up around Teresa, who entered into missionary service as a result of hearing, on multiple occasions, the “voice” of Jesus directing her, as well as receiving visions from him, has come under practical scrutiny by numerous detractors. (See HERE, HERE, HERE) Christopher Hitchens, notorious as one of the four horsemen of “new” atheism, produced perhaps (unsurprisingly) the most inflammatory (to Teresa’s advocates) expose on the question-evoking aura surrounding this “saint of the gutters.”

In an article in Slate magazine upon Pope John II’s beatification of Teresa in 2003 – the first step towards official Roman Catholic sainthood – Hitchens commented on Teresa’s well-publicized brushes with ethical responsibility.
MT was not a friend of the poor. She was a friend of poverty. She said that suffering was a gift from God. She spent her life opposing the only known cure for poverty, which is the empowerment of women and the emancipation of them from a livestock version of compulsory reproduction. And she was a friend to the worst of the rich, taking misappropriated money from the atrocious Duvalier family in Haiti (whose rule she praised in return) and from Charles Keating of the Lincoln Savings and Loan. Where did that money, and all the other donations, go? The primitive hospice in Calcutta was as run down when she died as it always had been—she preferred California clinics when she got sick herself—and her order always refused to publish any audit. While Hitchens had the obvious atheist axe to grind, his assessment of Teresa’s failures to actually alleviate suffering and minimize poverty are well noted beyond merely the sphere of disgruntled atheists. (See HERE or HERE or HERE or HERE or HERE orHERE ) It’s telling that a Calcutta newspaper, following Teresa’s death, occurring just a few days after the death of Princess Diana, featured a headline, “Numbed by Diana’s death, Calcutta fails to mourn for Teresa.”  (Source)

The obvious concerns relate to the alleged massive amounts of donations her Missionaries of Charity received, receipts the order itself seemed to show absent in its subsequent ministry. Lacking transparency, the order publishes no financial statements, though, as reported by the German magazine Stern, one former sister claims she saw a New York bank account for the order with over $50 million on deposit.  Other funds were deposited with the Vatican Bank.
The Keating Savings and Loan scandal from the 1980’s found Teresa rushing to the hopeful aid of Charles Keating, a benefactor to her order to the tune of $1.25 million. She wrote presiding Judge Lance Ito a glowing letter of endorsement on behalf of Keating. When the district attorney responded to advise that the $1.25 million she received was from stolen funds, communication from the “Mother” suddenly ceased. She kept the cash.

The charge that Teresa loved poverty, not the poor – which may be substantiated by her failure to use her sizable donations to actually alleviate some of their poverty and provide adequate treatment for their sickness – might be best judged by her own words in response to the criticism elicited by the Hitchens expose:
“There is something beautiful in seeing the poor accept their lot, to suffer it like Christ’s Passion. The world gains much from their suffering.”  Mother Teresa
Multiple accounts regarding the wretched condition of her missions of mercy attest to deplorable, unsanitary conditions -accounts widely available upon even a superficial search – seem remarkably ironic and uncharitable given the hundreds of millions of dollars her “charity” was known to rake in.
“At the time of her death, Mother Teresa had opened 517 missions welcoming the poor and sick in more than 100 countries. The missions have been described as “homes for the dying” by doctors visiting several of these establishments in Calcutta. Two-thirds of the people coming to these missions hoped to a find a doctor to treat them, while the other third lay dying without receiving appropriate care. The doctors observed a significant lack of hygiene, even unfit conditions, as well as a shortage of actual care, inadequate food, and no painkillers. The problem is not a lack of money–the Foundation created by Mother Teresa has raised hundreds of millions of dollars.”  (Source)
Teresa’s iconic image as a humanitarian was perhaps only second to her consistent pro-life stands.  Across numerous, highly public platforms, she placed a priority on speaking against abortion.  While the issue was prominently featured in her Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech in 1979, perhaps her most pithy pro-life moment came during her meeting with then First Lady Hillary Clinton in 1994.

When Clinton inquired of her why she might think America had not yet had a female president, Teresa quipped, “Because she has probably been aborted.”  (Source) Teresa’s anti-abortion message at the National Prayer Breakfast event earlier found the Clintons declining to share in the standing ovation she received.
Proclaiming good works and pro-life messages may be noble and sound Christian, but, for Teresa, represented the expression of a false religion based on works.  Her proclamations were necessarily void of the Gospel message she herself did not know or profess. Discounting the enemy of our Lord as the “god of this world,” (2 Corinthians 4:4) Teresa placed abortion as the greatest destroyer on earth, rather than the “father of lies.” (John 8:44)
“Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.”  Mother Teresa
Regardless of the veracity of Teresa’s temporal entanglements and practical disregard for the care of the sick and dying – of which many claims seem to prove out – the fundamental problem with her is not merely the mythic image of a pro-life, social justice, humanitarian that has built up around her. Authentic humanitarian or not, the problem with Teresa is theological.
The problem is her damning, diabolical theology, borne out of the apostasy of the false teachings of Roman Catholicism. Even granting the heaping of good and noble humanitarian works on her diminutive shoulders, disregarding the critics who decry what they see as her callous disregard for charity and practical human aid, and lauding her for an agreeable pro-life agenda – none of which save or take priority over the Gospel -Teresa’s religion was thoroughly man-centered and idolatrous.   It exuded paganism, idolatry, and universalism.
Even Catholics ought to find themselves jaw-droppingly indignant at her “we never try to convert to Christianity” words from her book Life In The Spirit: Reflections, Meditations, and Prayers:
“We never try to convert those who receive [aid] to Christianity but in our work we bear witness to the love of God’s presence and if Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists, or agnostics become for this better men — simply better — we will be satisfied. It matters to the individual what church he belongs to. If that individual thinks and believes that this is the only way to God for her or him, this is the way God comes into their life — his life. If he does not know any other way and if he has no doubt so that he does not need to search then this is his way to salvation.”  Mother Teresa
Perhaps taking the attributed quote of Saint Francis of Assisi to a hyper, albeit unscriptural, extreme – “Share the gospel … if necessary, use words” – Teresa’s behavior might seem noble for advocates of a pure social justice gospel, but her words indicate a profoundly anti-Christian position. Teresa was a universalist.
Her universalism seems played out within her oft-lauded order of nuns. In his article, The Myth of Mother Teresa, Tim Challies cites the account of a nun of Teresa’s order who responded to a question about what they tell the sick and dying to prepare them for death and eternity. “We tell them to pray to their Bhagwan, to their gods.”
Challies notes three theologically pernicious quotes from Teresa:
“I’ve always said we should help a Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim become a better Muslim, a Catholic become a better Catholic.”
“I love all religions. … If people become better Hindus, better Muslims, better Buddhists by our acts of love, then there is something else growing there.”
“All is God — Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, etc., all have access to the same God.”
The discerning believer in the one true God who has revealed Himself in Scripture will recognize the diabolical influence of such quotes. They represent nothing short of the spirit of the age, deceiving the globe with a “many ways to heaven” malodorous theology. But, it’s a theology we’ve been warned against, by our Lord.  He called it the “wide path.” (Matthew 7:13). And Teresa, in her own words, lauded that path.
Other words of Teresa reveal her universalistic, social justice, and works righteousness theology, as well. Often infused with mysticism, they reverberate with the false, damning “God loves everyone” theme. Her idolatrous worship of Mary is also evident.
“There are so many religions and each one has its different ways of following God.”
We’d refer, again, to Matthew 7:13-14.  Christ makes clear the two paths.  His entire incarnate ministry made clear that He, alone, is “the way, the truth, and the life.”  (John 14:6) Sorry, Teresa, but there are no “different ways” that will keep you on the narrow path.  It’s Christ alone.
“Whether one is Hindu or a Muslim or a Christian, how you live your life is proof that you are or not fully His. We cannot condemn or judge or pass words that will hurt people. We don’t know in what way God is appearing to that soul and what God is drawing that soul to; therefor, who are we to condemn anybody?”
This sounds like the typical post-modern unbeliever today.  The strain of mystical, personal relativism is evident.  As far as “condemning anybody,” apart from Christ, they are “condemned already.”  (John 3:18)  Teresa’s failure to know and share His authentic Gospel was complicit in keeping them, and herself, in that state of condemnation.
“When a poor person dies of hunger, it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her. It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.”
While good works are a result of authentic regeneration, Teresa’s social justice gospel was all social justice and no gospel.  To alleviate suffering – to the extent she did that – apart from sharing the truth of Christ’s good news is to merely make the “already condemned” a bit more temporally comfortable while they otherwise are being launched into wrath.
“Before you speak, it is necessary for you to listen, for God speaks in the silence of the heart.”
Mysticism … again.  God speaks, to be sure, but He does it in His Word.
“A clean heart is a free heart. A free heart can love Christ with an undivided love in chastity, convinced that nothing and nobody will separate it from his love. Purity, chastity, and virginity created a special beauty in Mary that attracted God’s attention. He showed his great love for the world by giving Jesus to her.”
The proclamation of the unfettered, undistinguishing, justice-free love of God is a common enough mantra of the Scripturally-illiterate, as common as Catholic’s pagan-like idol worship of images and statues of Mary (and other “saints”), accompanied by unbliblical incantations to her for intercession – but whereas the first is a false gospel, the latter is pure idolatry.  Of course, Rome changed the Ten Commandments so as to avoid that pesky “thou shalt not” that divinely precludes idol worship  (* See below for an explanation)
“Give yourself fully to God. He will use you to accomplish great things on the condition that you believe much more in His love than in your own weakness.”
Smells like a Catholic version of ‘Your Best Life Now.”  Achieve great things!  God loves you!  Work and be blessed!  You can do it!
“Each one of them is Jesus in disguise.”
No.  While those whom Christ has chosen are united with Him, and His Spirit abides in us, (Galatians 2:20) the unregenerate have a singular relationship with Christ – with Him as sovereign judge.  While every knee will bow and tongue confess Him as Lord (Romans 14:11), only His redeemed will enjoy eternal fellowship with Him.  If not reminiscent of the prosperity gospel’s “little god” doctrine, this smacks also of the New Age, Eastern “god is in everything” philosophy, which, of course, is wrong, and damning.
“The biggest disease today is not leprosy or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling of being unwanted.”
If you spend a little bit of time consuming Scripture, then pausing to preview the unsaved world, you’ll realize the most glaring, evident need isn’t for someone to provide a salve of friendship and kindness for the lonely; it’s to do the ultimate kindness by sharing the Good News with them, praying that God will work powerfully through it to save them. (Romans 1:16)  Sin is the virulent, ubiquitous disease of the world, not loneliness, and the Gospel is the singular solution.
“I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world.”
Umm, no.  No, she wasn’t.  Teresa’s errant theology nor her works, sans the authentic Gospel, did not represent God’s “love letter to the world.”  He’s no longer writing a letter.  We have Scripture.  Despite Rome’s denial of its authority, the canon of Scripture is closed, His special revelation complete.  Our greatest work, one we’re commanded to,(Matthew 28:19) is to share that message in actual words.  The Gospel is divine information, not a “hope they see it” charade game we play hoping the unregenerate will recognize it.  Good works are a result of our salvation and the ultimate good work is to share the Good News.
“There should be less talk; a preaching point is not a meeting point. What do you do then? Take a broom and clean someone’s house. That says enough.”

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
 When Francis canonizes Teresa before a crowd estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands in front of St. Peter’s Basilica, with millions more watching live from around the globe, there will, no doubt, be festive anticipation.  There will tears of joy, shouts of excitement and glee, and a celebratory atmosphere of awe throughout the crowd at the culmination of this woman’s rise within the Roman church.
But the spectacle to occur at the apostate Roman church on Sunday will pale in comparison to the one which Christ warned about.  It comes just a few verses after His admonition, “No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”  Luke 13:5
But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’ In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  Luke 13:27-28
Don’t be deceived by those proclaiming salvation by anything other than, or in addition to, Christ alone.  God has deemed them, and their adherents, cursed.  Repent and believe in Christ alone.
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.  Galatian 1:8

Amid an illegal plot to “ratify” a United Nations treaty on “climate change” without the constitutionally required advice and consent of the U.S. Senate, Obama is behaving more and more like a tinpot dictator looting what remains of a collapsing banana republic. As part of the effort to defend the unconstitutional scheme to bypass Congress and “ratify” the UN climate regime, however, the White House and its globalist allies are twisting themselves into legalistic and rhetorical pretzels — and setting up the UN scheme for failure. The formal announcement ahead of the upcoming Communist Chinese-led G20 confirms what The New American first reported over two years ago.



The UN, Obama, and Beijing are all hoping to get the agreement “ratified” before or during the G20 meeting in early September, according to news reports. Unlike the U.S. Congress, which Obama knows will not approve his dangerous UN “climate” regime, even the rubber-stamp legislature serving the brutal communist dictatorship enslaving mainland China is getting an opportunity to weigh in on ratifying the so-called “Paris Agreement.” Beijing's propaganda organs are making a big show out of the fact that the “Standing Committee” of the “National People’s Congress” is deliberating on whether to ratify the controversial UN deal.  



By contrast, Obama plans to pretend to ratify it all by himself. Fortunately for Americans, though, by bypassing the proper ratification process, Obama is all-but ensuring that the “climate” treaty, negotiated in Paris last year, will eventually go down in flames. In fact, federal law now officially prohibits any U.S. funding for the UN climate bureaucracy, whether Obama pretends to ratify the UN climate deal or not. The strange turn of events vis-à-vis Obama, China, and the UN follows bizarre comments by former UN “Climate” Czarina Christiana Figueres, who blasted the U.S. political system but said the murderous Chinese regime was doing it right when it comes to battling alleged man-made global warming.



The blatantly fraudulent “legal argument” being advanced by Obama and the White House is that the UN Paris Agreement is actually an “executive agreement.” Therefore, they claim, Obama can ratify it with nothing more than his pen. In the real world, of course, the UN, the French government that oversaw the negotiations, and practically every government on earth have declared the Paris Agreement to be a “binding international treaty.” Indeed, the document itself makes that clear, with the word “shall” appearing in the text more than 100 times.   



Speaking at a White House press conference, though, a “senior adviser” to Obama, Brian Deese, tried to have it both ways. “The president will use his authority that has been used in dozens of executive agreements in the past to join and formally deposit our instrument of acceptance, and therefore put our country as a party to the Paris Agreement,” said Deese, who was in Communist China last week plotting with the regime's minions on how to impose the UN “climate” scheme on Americans and all of humanity. Obama previously inked a pseudo-treaty on the issue with Chinese dictator Xi Jinping (shown with Obama above), setting the stage for the Paris Agreement.    



If the UN's climate deal was truly a so-called “executive agreement,” whatever that means, the agreement would presumably only bind the executive branch of the federal government, not the United States. Yet, the White House is claiming that this executive agreement will “put our country as a party to” the radical UN treaty. Of course, in the real world, only the Constitution and the other branches of the federal government can legitimately bind the executive branch — much less the entire country. In fact, aside from defending the Constitution, Obama's job description is to faithfully execute the laws, not invent them alongside the UN and China's murderous tyrants.



On top of that, even real treaties that are properly ratified by two thirds of U.S. senators present cannot grant any new powers to the federal government. The Paris Agreement, and Obama's “Intended Nationally Determined Contributions” (INDC) pledges under it, go far beyond the powers delegated to the federal government under the U.S. Constitution. That means the treaty would be illegitimate even if the U.S. Senate were to ratify it, according to the Constitution's authors and even the U.S. Supreme Court. Without Senate approval, it is basically a glorified but meaningless piece of paper that does not even provide a fig leaf of cover for Obama's illegal usurpations.   



Obama's senior adviser, though, apparently thinks Americans are stupid. “That’s a process that is quite well-established in our existing legal system and in the context of international agreements and international arrangements,” Deese told reporters without citing the source of this alleged “well-established process" of dictatorial rule. “There is a category of them that are treaties that require advice and consent from the Senate, but there’s a broad category of executive agreements where the executive can enter into those agreements without that advice and consent.”



He did not say what provision of the Constitution supposedly created a “broad category of executive agreements” that Obama could concoct and impose unilaterally — almost certainly because there is none. It was not clear whether Deese actually believed his own outlandish propaganda, either, but he apparently did say it with a straight face. He also said that Obama and the communist dictator ruling over China had announced earlier this year that they “would seek to formally join the Paris Agreement in 2016,” as if that made it legitimate.  



Of course, U.S. senators have already pointed out that Obama's promises on the issue are a fraud and have no meaning. U.S. Senator James Inhofe (R-Okla), for example, who serves as the chairman of the powerful U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and regularly ridicules the man-made global-warming theory as a “hoax,” ridiculed Obama and his “empty promises.” “The problem with international climate change agreements is that they ignore basic economic and political realities and therefore are doomed to failure,” Inhofe said. “When the hype over the signing fades, the reality will set in that the policies President Obama is promising will not last.”



But while the Republican-controlled Congress has put up tepid and in some cases even phony resistance to Obama's wild plot to ratify a treaty without Senate approval, foreign powers and officials have been egging him on. First, it was French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius of the Socialist Party, which oversaw the UN negotiations in Paris that produced the totalitarian UN “climate regime.” Speaking to African government and dictatorship delegations in Germany, Fabius said “we know the politics in the United States.” “Whether we like it or not, if it comes to the [U.S.] Congress, they will refuse” to approve the UN “climate” scheme, he continued. “We must find a formula which is valuable for everybody and valuable for the U.S. without going to the Congress.”



After that, UN boss Ban Ki Moon, who now bombastically refers to the UN as the “Parliament of Humanity,”expressed confidence that Obama would ignore Congress and the Constitution in his fake ratification procedure. “I do appreciate President Obama’s strong commitment,” said the UN chief, whose tenure has been plagued by all manner of scandals ranging from child-raping UN troops running wild to the ongoing and systematic persecution of whistleblowers who expose UN corruption and crime. “He knew that, with all this opposition of the Republican Party’s stance, he may not be able to have all this legally — through a legal process. But he also has executive power. He will do whatever he can under his executive power.”



Playing along with Obama's fraud, the UN and the regime enslaving mainland China are all pretending that if Obama and rubber-stamp Chinese legislators “ratify” the UN deal, it will enter into force and be binding on everyone. They claim that once 55 governments or dictatorships representing 55 percent of human CO2 emissions ratify the scheme, it is all over. “Together, the U.S. and China represent just under 40 percent of global emissions,” said Deese, Obama's adviser. “So the act of our two countries [sic] joining and when that happens will help move us closer to that goal.” As of now, less than two dozen governments and dictators representing about 1 percent of all man-made gas-of-life (CO2) emissions have signed up.



Still, Obama's delusions notwithstanding, the Paris deal can and likely will be stopped either by Congress, the courts, or the next president. All the GOP Congress has to do is refuse to fund it. The courts could just strike it down. And a future president could simply tear it up. Indeed, Trump has already pledged to kill the UN “climate” regime upon taking office. “We’re going to cancel the Paris climate agreement, and stop — unbelievable — and stop all payments of the United States tax dollars to UN global-warming programs,” he explained, sending increasingly marginalized climate alarmists and Obama into a tizzy.



Unfortunately for the UN and Obama — but fortunately for humanity — the entire “Paris Agreement” is built on a foundation of lies, deceit, lawlessness, fraud, PR gimmicks, and bluster. Basically, the globalists built their tyrannical scheme on a foundation of quicksand. Already, the overwhelming majority of the U.S. public rejects the man-made global-warming theory. A growing body of evidence discrediting the theory continues to pile up. All that remains is for concerned Americans to continue their efforts to expose and ultimately destroy the UN's totalitarian “climate” regime once and for all. The future of freedom and prosperity depend on it.

A new “advertiser friendly” policy introduced by YouTube will punish those who express politically incorrect opinions or dare to offend viewers by de-monetizing their content.



The new rules have sparked an outcry from the YouTube community because they are so incredibly restrictive.



YouTube will now retain the right to demonetize any videos that contain, “Controversial or sensitive subjects and events, including subjects related to war, political conflicts, natural disasters and tragedies, even if graphic imagery is not shown.”



“Inappropriate language, including harassment, profanity and vulgar language,” is also being demonetized.








YouTube’s new policy will completely disincentivize YouTubers from discussing politically incorrect topics or expressing controversial opinions because they know they will be punished for doing so. Many YouTubers make a living off their channel and will therefore be walking on eggshells to avoid the company’s stringent new rules.



The new policy bears some hallmarks of the Communist Chinese government’s “social credit score system,” whereby Internet users are punished by private companies and their peers for expressing unpopular views on social media.



The move is primarily designed to scare away YouTubers from making anti-establishment political content, but prominent YouTubers are already reporting that videos on everything from acne solutions to tips on combating depression are being demonetized because they are not “advertiser friendly”.



“The channels that self-identify as vulnerable by these advertising guidelines seem to be news channels covering sensitive real-world topics,”reports Kotaku.



Prominent YouTuber Philip DeFranco responded to the controversy by vowing, “I’m not going to censor myself,” despite the fact that dozens of his videos have already been demonetized.



Google-owned YouTube is of course a private company and can enforce any rules it likes, but with the advent of such corporations becoming so large (more powerful than countries in some cases), in addition to them insisting on being treated as a public utility, the move is a massive stab in the back for the content creators who helped build the platform in the first place.



As Matt Drudge warned about when he appeared on the Alex Jones Show nearly a year ago, creators allowing their content to be swallowed up by social media ghettos was always going to lead to this outcome.



“I don’t know why they’ve been successful in pushing everybody into these little ghettos, these Facebooks, these Tweets, these Instagrams,” Drudge told Jones. “This is ghetto, this is corporate; they’re taking your energy and you’re getting nothing in return.”

Many Christians seek help from Ayurvedic practitioners. This is especially true in South Asia, but it is a dangerous practice.







Consider the example of a young man with blood cancer (leukemia). The medical doctors wanted to give him modern medicines to possibly cure the disease, but his family was told by Ayurvedic practitioners that their treatments could cure it. The family believed them and chose to give him the Ayurvedic medicine and not to give him the modern medicine. For several months he was given Ayurvedic medicine. For a little while, he seemed to be getting better, but then he became worse and worse. Finally, in desperation, the parents took him back to the hospital. The medical doctors said that while the patient was taking Ayurvedic medicine the disease had advanced rapidly and now it was too late to help him. 







When the medical doctors at the hospital first counseled the family, they strongly advised against using Ayurvedic treatment. They said that they have been working with blood cancer patients for many years and they have never seen one healed by Ayurvedic. They said that if Ayurvedic could heal cancer, it would be written about in medical journals all over the world. 







This type of thing has happened countless times. Instead of seeking proper modern medical treatment, the patient seeks help from Ayurvedic practitioners, and instead of getting better they get worse. Many times they die because they wait too late to seek modern medical care that could have helped them.







What Is Ayurveda?







1. Ayurveda is Hinduism.







Ayurvedic practitioners claim that it was received from the Hindu gods by gurus through yogic meditation. Note the following quote from the Ayurveda Encyclopedia:







“The knowledge of Ayurveda was handed down from Brahma to Daksha Prajapati, onto the Ashwin twins (the divine doctors), then passed to Indra. Sage Bharadvaja volunteered to go to heaven to receive this wisdom from Indra, and so became the first human to receive the knowledge of Ayurveda” (The Ayurveda Encyclopedia, published by Health Harmony, New Delhi, 2006, p. xxiii).  







“The methods used to find this knowledge of herbs, foods, aromas, gems, colors, yoga, mantras … came through Divine revelation. … Originally four main books of Vedic spiritually existed. These are known as the Vedas: Rik, Sama, Yajur, and Atharva. Ayurveda was used along with Vedic astrology (called Jyotish, that is, one’s inner light). Eventually, Ayurveda was organized into its own compact system of health and considered a branch of Atharva Veda” (The Ayurveda Encyclopedia, p. 3).







So we see that Ayurveda is Hinduism.







2. The goal of Ayurveda is to teach the individual that he or she is God.







Ayurveda is based on the false doctrine that God is all things (pantheism) and that man is God. Again we will quote from the Ayurveda Encyclopedia:







“According to the Vedic philosophy, life is Divine and the goal of life is to realize our inner Divine nature. Ayurvedically speaking, the more people realize their Divine nature the healthier they are. 



Thus it is the responsibility of the Ayurvedic doctor to inspire or help awaken the patient to their own inner Divine nature. … When patients are taught they have this Divinity within themselves, they feel a connection to life and God (however each patient defines God)” (The Ayurveda Encyclopedia, p. 8).







This goes back to the devil’s lie to Eve in the Garden of Eden that she would be as God (Gen. 3:4-5). 







3. Ayurveda claims that spiritual energy flows throughout the universe and can be manipulated for health. 







This energy is called prana, and the flow of energy must be balanced for good health. 







According to the Bible, there is no such thing asprana. 







4. Ayurveda claims there are three body types.







Ayurveda practitioners prescribe remedies to bring each body type into good health.







“According to Ayurvedic medicine, there are three body types: Kapha, Pitta and Vata. The Kapha body type is individuals who tend to be of larger build with equally wide shoulder and hip regions. The Pitta body type is a medium build person and the Vata type is more slight or petite. Body types, according to Ayurvedic medicine, have a tendency to suffer from particular ills and complications that can be addressed by countering with specific types of foods” (“Ayurveda Medicine,” EmaxHealth.com, Mar. 2, 2012). 











There is no scientific evidence for the three body types or for the Ayurvedic remedies. This is Hindu mythology.







5. Ayurveda uses idolatrous practices to achieve its goals. 







In addition to Ayurvedic herbs and medicinal remedies, Ayurvedic practitioners prescribe idolatrous practices, such as yoga, mantras, acupuncture, aromatherapy, color therapy, gem therapy, astrology, psychology, architectural harmony, and yagya (ceremonies soliciting the aid of Hindu gods).







Yoga is a major part of Ayurveda. There is a lengthy section in The Ayurveda Encyclopedia on Yoga. Yoga means union and its goal is to achieve union with the Hindu concept of god. 







What Is the Error of Ayurveda?







1. Ayurveda is demonic in origin.







The Bible warns the believer to avoid anything that is of the devil and that is associated with idolatry. 







“Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them…” (1 Corinthians 10:7).







“Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry” (1 Corinthians 10:14).







“But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?” (1 Corinthians 10:20-22).







“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).







“Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen” (1 John 5:21).







There is no doubt that Ayurveda is of the devil. We have seen that it is pure Hinduism, and Hinduism is a religion of the devil.







The Bible teaches that idolatry began at the Tower of Babel after the global Flood of Noah’s day. This was about 4,200 years ago or 2,200 years before the coming of Christ.







The building of the Tower of Babel is described in the following passage:







“And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.  … And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth” (Gen. 10:8-10; 11:1-9).







This was the beginning of the world’s idolatrous religions. It was led by a proud kingdom builder named Nimrod. The desire to build a tower to heaven had a religious meaning associated with astrology (worship of the sun and moon and stars). The ancient Babylonians weren’t trying to build a tower that could reach the stars physically. They were building a tower that could reach the stars spiritually. They wanted a religion that would connect them with “the gods” through idolatrous rituals and pagan philosophy. 







Revelation 17:5 says that Babylon is the mother of all false religions. That is where the false religions originated.







What happened in those days after the worldwide flood is described in Romans 1:21-23. 







“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.”







Hinduism is a direct descendent of Babylonian religion. The following Hindu practices can be traced back to ancient Babylon: idol worship, plurality of gods, goddesses, mother goddesses, sun worship, moon worship, astrology, serpent worship, curses and hexes on one’s enemies, seeking good fortune through rituals, using drugs to connect with God, rituals for the prosperity of the dead, and the promise of perfect health through religious practices.







2. Ayurveda makes false promises.







Ayurveda promises perfect health and long life. 







The Ayurveda Encyclopedia is subtitled “natural secrets to healing, prevention, and longevity.” 







Deepak Chopra, the most prominent practitioner of Ayurveda in America, claims that aging can be reversed. Actress Demi Moore believes she will live to age 130 through Ayurveda. 







The Bible teaches that sickness and death stem from man’s Fall. We live in a world that groans under a curse, and even those that are born again are subject to it (Rom. 8:22-23). We live in a body of death (Rom. 7:24). Our bodies die because of sin. “The wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23).







God didn’t always heal sick believers even in the early churches. Paul had a sickness that God didn’t remove (2 Cor. 12:7-10). Paul’s conclusion to this matter was the opposite of those who claim God’s will is total health. He said: “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong” (2 Cor. 12:10). Paul understood that God has not promised perfect health in this present world, and he accepted God’s will. 







Timothy was physically weak and often sick (1 Tim.5:23). Paul did not heal him and did not instruct him to practice Ayurveda! 







Trophimus, Paul’s co-worker, was left behind in Miletum because he was sick and God did not heal him (2 Tim. 4:20). 







The New Testament Christian faith does not teach us to expect total health in this present world. It teaches us to live by hope, and hope that is seen is not hope. In the following passage, the apostle Paul taught that the believer is subject to all sorts of trouble in this present world, but in the next life we will have a resurrected body and will no longer have sickness and death.







“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, thendo we with patience wait for it” (Romans 8:18-25).







The Bible says that this present world is under God’s curse because of man’s sin, and there will not be complete freedom from sickness and trouble in this life. 







So we see that Ayurveda makes false promises that deceive people. 







The Bible says the devil is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44). 







3. Ayurvedic medicine can be dangerous to your health.







There are no controls over Ayurvedic medicine. There is no way to know whether the ingredients are even safe. 







Tests have shown that a large percentage of Ayurvedic medicine contains harmful levels of poisons such as lead, mercury, iron, and arsenic. 







To combine these metals and minerals such as mica with herbs is called “rasa shastra.” The mixtures are called bhasmas. It is an ancient Hindu practice. According to this doctrine, a combination of metals with herbs results in health cures. Although Ayurvedic practitioners believe that their mixing techniques make these formulations safe, the scientific evidence shows this is not true.







This is a myth, and the practice can be hazardous to one’s health, because heavy metals are poisonous if used in large dosages or for extended times. 







“The result of Ayurveda rasa shastra medicine in the U.S has resulted in multiple instances of heavy metal poisoning. Children are especially at risk of developing neurological problems due to heavy metal poisoning.”







Studies were published in the Journal of American Medical Association in 2004 and 2008. “The researchers concluded that several Indian-manufactured products could result in lead and/or mercury ingestions 100 to 100,000 times greater than acceptable limits” (U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s caution alert about Ayurvedic medicine, Oct. 16, 2008). 







During 2011-2012, the New York City Department of Health found six cases of lead poisoning in pregnant women who used Ayurvedic medicine. Lead poisoning can damage the brain, kidneys, nervous and reproductive systems, and can injure the developing infant. 







Cases of poisoning by Ayurvedic medicine have been found in Canada. 







One adult male was admitted to a hospital with vomiting and diarrhea. He had been poisoned by taking one tablet daily of an Ayurvedic medicine he had purchased in India “to increase vigor.” The level of lead in his blood was nearly three times what it should have been. An analysis of the medicine found that each tablet contained poisonous levels of lead, mercury, and arsenic (“Heavy Medal Poisoning from Ayurvedic,” British Columbia Medical Journal, March 2008). 







In another case, a young man was admitted to a hospital with nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. He had been taking an Ayurvedic powder to manage his diabetes. He had purchased it from a temple in India. An analysis of the medicine found that it contained poisonous amounts of lead. 







The Canadian government banned the sale of Ayurvedic medicine in 2005 because of the high levels of metals like lead, mercury, and arsenic. 







The European Union banned the import and sale of Ayurvedic medicine in 2011. 







One of the supplements prescribed by Ayurvedic practitioners is Guggul, a tree extract. It has been linked to severe organ damage in some people. “In 2011, an article in the Canadian Journal of Gastroenterology reported a case of an otherwise healthy young woman who developed complete liver failure after taking a dietary supplement fat burner containing usnic acid, green tea and Guggul tree extract” (“Ayurveda Medicine and Supplement Hidden Dangers,” EmaxHealth.com, Mar. 2, 2012).







These are just a few examples. There are doubtless thousands and thousands of cases in which people have been poisoned and have even died because of Ayurvedic medicine.







4. Ayurveda is filled with liars and quacks.







The field of Ayurvedic medicine has always been populated by quacks and deceivers who make false promises and sell worthless remedies. 







It is not uncommon for Ayurvedic practitioners buy cheap drugs and mix them with other things to make concoctions that they sell for a lot of money.







One pharmacist told us that Ayurvedic practitioners buy cheap medicine from him in large quantities, grind it into powder, add flour and powders to it, and then sell it expensively as Ayurvedic medicine. It is a hoax, and multitudes of people spend their money on this type of thing. 







Consider Prakash Barvaliya of Ahmedabad, India. He bought generic ointments such as anti-bacterial creams and mixed these with other things and put his own label on it (“Ayruvedic quack’s clinics raided,” The Times of India, Aug. 14, 2012).







In 1995, Jonie Flint sued Deepak Chopra and other Ayurvedic practitioners because her husband died after being treated by them for leukemia. He was told that he had “heat” in his spleen and bone marrow, “wind” in his stomach, and pressure on his nerves, and he was put on an Ayurvedic “purification” treatment that included herbal products and a mantra. He spent $10,000 on Ayurvedic services and products. In December 1993, Flint was told by the Ayurvedic practitioners that his leukemia was gone, but he died of leukemia four months later. Deceived by the Ayurvedic doctors, he did not seek proper medical care.







In 2012, Mahadeo Mahadik died of kidney disease after spending Rs. 5 lakh (US $7,500) on Ayurvedic doctors. They had promised that he would be cured (“Two ayurvedia quacks cheat 65-year-old of Rs. 5 lakh,” DNA India, Aug. 16, 2012).







This type of thing has happened literally millions of times over the centuries to people who have relied on Ayurvedic practitioners.







Conclusion







Christians who seek help from Ayurvedic medicine are disobeying God and are placing themselves in spiritual and physical danger. They are also a bad example for others. 







Modern medicine is a blessing from God. The Bible says that in the last days “knowledge shall be increased” (Daniel 12:4). God is the one who controls the times and gives knowledge to men.







“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding” (Dan. 2:20-21).







Modern medicine is part of the explosion of knowledge that has happened in the last 150 years in fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Modern inventions include electricity and the light bulb, telephone, radio, railroads, automobiles, airplanes, atomic power, rockets, television, computers, and mobile phones. 







During this same time, God has also given men new wisdom about the human body and healing. 







Doctors have discovered that microscopic germs cause diseases. Modern microscopes were invented so that doctors could examine germs that cannot be seen with the unaided human eye. Doctors invented vaccinations to prevent many diseases, including rabies, smallpox, cholera, and polio. They discovered that wounds would heal better if they were kept clean. They discovered anesthesia so that patients could be put to sleep and not feel the pain of surgery. Doctors invented the X-ray and CAT scans so that they could see things inside of the body such as the bones and the lungs and the heart. Doctors discovered antibiotics such as penicillin, which have saved countless people from dying by infection. They invented amazing surgical techniques, such as open heart surgery and heart transplants. They invented hip replacements and knee replacements. These modern medical practices have been a blessing to people all over the world.







Typically, modern medicines and procedures are rigorously tested for years. Before medical companies are allowed to sell a medicine and doctors are allowed to use it, it must be repeatedly and extensively tested on animals and people. They have to know whether the medicine will cause bad effects and whether it will interact with other medicines in a negative way. They have to determine the proper dosage. Modern medicines are subjected to hundreds of tests before they are approved for use by the public.







Consider what was required to gain approval of RotaTeq, a rotavirus vaccine that has saved the lives of multiplied thousands of children. First, the product had to be tested in animals. Then it was tested in ever-larger studies on humans. Finally, it was tested in a massive study called Phase III. The following account is given by Paul Offit, co-inventor of the vaccine. 







“The Phase III trial for one rotavirus vaccine, Rotateq, included more than 70,000 children from eleven countries, tested for four years at a cost of about $350 million. If stacked one on top of another, patients’ records from the trial would have exceeded the height of the Sears Tower in Chicago. The FDA allowed the manufacturer of RotaTeq to make claims about safety and effectiveness only after those claims had been supported by rigorous scientific studies; otherwise, it wouldn’t have licensed the product” (Offit, Do You Believe in Magic? p. 95).







Ayurvedic medicine is not subject to any of this type of testing. Ayurvedic practitioners are a law unto themselves. In fact, as we have seen, Ayurvedic medicine often contains very harmful ingredients. 







In sickness, the wise believer will first seek God and ask for healing, as Paul did. 







“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me” (2 Cor. 12:7-8).







The wise believer will also use the resources that God has given us in these end times, and that includes modern medicine.







This does not mean that the believer blindly follows modern medicine and puts himself unquestioningly into the hands of medical doctors. We should pray for wisdom in all situations.







“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).







But the wise believer will stay away from anything that is associated with idolatry and demonism and deception.

Since the turn of the millennium, the world has witnessed a virtual meltdown of biblical Christianity. While many are saying Christianity is experiencing a great revival and even a “new reformation,” this commentary will document the demise of Christianity by showing we are experiencing the greatest apostasy in modern-day history.

In one word, Christianity is being redefined. Scores of pastors have chosen to abandon the Bible in favor of postmodernism (that is, what they view as progressive and culturally relevant). There is no other way to describe what has happened. Those who love God and believe the Bible is His Word cannot believe what has happened. Light has turned into darkness. What was once believed to be true is now proclaimed to be a lie. Those who once claimed to be followers of Jesus and the Bible are now following men and their philosophies.

Rather than reaching out to the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, pastors and Bible teachers are abandoning the Bible in order to embrace the world. They look for ways to market what they call Christianity by incorporating sensual gimmicks that are supposed to attract the masses. Hymn books are tossed out of churches from the pews. Pews have been replaced by soft theater seats with credit card terminals. Being comfortable while attending church is the standard. Don’t mention sin or that Jesus shed His blood on the Cross because that would be offensive.

Then we could ask: What happened to the God of the Bible who created all things according to the book of Genesis. When did creation become a religious Babylonian myth and the theory of evolution become the science that proves that an explosion plus time and chance is the formula for the origin of all life?

Or what about the infiltration of the New Age movement into evangelical churches? Have we been Hinduized and now think that Yoga is a Christian exercise? Or what about getting closer to Jesus by humming mantras, “getting centered,” or practicing eastern mystical contemplative prayers that will send you off to Nirvana? Have Christians lost their minds and been seduced by demons?

How about the invasion of extra-biblical experiences? For example, what about getting drunk in the “Spirit” or barking like a dog because of the “transferrable anointing”? Where is that kind of behavior found in Scriptures? Are Christians being prepared for a great revival, or are they being seduced by another spirit?

Then there is the trend that embraces “ecumenical madness.” They say the term Protestant is a word that should be retired to the past and has no significance in the church today. Church leaders claim there is no difference between the Pentecostal Jesus and the Eucharistic Christ worshiped and adored in a Roman Catholic monstrance. Or for many today, Jesus is nothing more than the Cosmic Christ that sees all is one and one is all. This “Jesus” is the universal Jesus of the New Age. If you don’t believe in this “Cosmic Christ” created by your own imagination, you are often deemed a heretic or at least old-fashioned.

Then there is the charismatic bridge located on the road to ecumenical unity. It provides a connection for the gap that once existed between Roman Catholics and the separated brethren. Some are calling for the Second Pentecost claiming that the world will turn to Christ and establish the Kingdom of God here on earth without the presence of the King.

Further, Israel no longer has a significant place in Scripture. Jews are a problem to the new emerging church. Replacement theology has ignored the Israel of the Bible and replaced God’s chosen people with the church that is about to establish the kingdom of God here on earth. In other words, Christianity has been reformed and those who refuse to accept this are considered uneducated morons (and are standing in the way of world peace).

Bible prophecy and the warnings about apostasy are totally relegated to a museum. A one-world religion for peace is in the making, and the Pope and the environment is the man to do it. The postmodern mindset has hijacked true biblical Christianity and made God into a god of their own imagination. The Word of God has been degraded into a myth.

Or have you noticed the church-growth emphasis that has swept the world? Purpose-driven megachurches that market fun and entertainment are growing exponentially. The churches that stress the Bible and salvation by Jesus Christ alone are dying and on the way out. The big get bigger and the small are getting smaller. Dr. George Wood, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God denomination,  is scheduled to share the platform with New Age sympathizer Leonard Sweet next year in Berlin, Germany at an event called Luther 2017.



Dr. Wood was the subject of several Lighthouse Trails articles in 2013 for his promotion of contemplative teacher Ruth Haley Barton and the invitation by AOG to have Barton speak at a women’s gathering during the AOG General Conference held that year. Leonard Sweet is actually a co-host for Luther 2017. Given his propensities toward New Age/New Spirituality thinking, his organizing participation will no doubt bring this thinking to the Luther 2017.



The implications of this are far deeper than what appears on the surface. This is not just a case of a major Christian leader—Dr. Wood—sharing a platform form with a leader in the emerging church/New Spirituality movement. There is currently a powerful effort behind the scenes to remove the barrier between the Roman Catholic Church and the evangelical and Protestant church and basically get people to acknowledge that the reformation from 500 years ago is over (i.e., it’s not needed anymore).



If you recall, in 2014, Lighthouse Trails reported on Anglican priest Tony Palmer, who had become a go-between for the Catholic Church and the evangelical (and Pentecostal) church. When he spoke at Ken Copeland’s church, he told the enthusiastic congregation that the reformation was over as there was no longer a need for it. He said it was time to unite. Shortly later, Palmer was killed in amotorcycle accident, but the work he was involved with continues on. Luther 2017 is part of that work as is Together 2016, which took place this summer, and The Gathering 2016, which takes place in September with major Christian figures such as Kay Arthur, Greg Laurie, Anne Graham Lotz, and several others.

As for Dr. George Wood, does he not realize that the first major step back to Rome is the embracing of contemplative prayer? When he made the decision to dig in his heels and accept Ruth Haley Barton no matter what evidence was provided to him, did he not realize he was plunging headlong into deception? As we have warned so many times (to the deaf ears of Christian leaders), once someone starts down the contemplative path, their viewpoint on spiritual matters begins to change leading to the eventual rejection of biblical Christianity and the Gospel. It appears that Dr. Wood has made his decision. How many will follow him?

Presidential candidate Donald Trump is headed to Mexico Wednesday to discuss immigration and border security with the nation’s president.



But the man who previously ran the country, Vicente Fox, calls the Republican nominee’s visit a “political stunt” and says Trump is “not welcome.”







“He is not welcome to Mexico. By 130 million people, we don’t like him. We don’t want him. We reject his message,” Fox told CNN’s “New Day” this morning.



“I don’t understand why President Nieto has offered this opportunity.”



Fox said Trump’s visit was “nothing more than a political stunt” designed “to boost his sinking poll numbers,” and added the candidate is unfit for the office.



“This guy is not up to be a president. He is not presidential. He doesn’t look presidential. He doesn’t know how to run a nation. He doesn’t even know how to run a business,” Fox said.



Trump seemed taken aback by the Mexican president’s response today, saying on Twitter that Fox had previously invited him to visit after apologizing for using “the ‘f bomb.’”








Earlier this year Fox responded to Trump’s proposal to build a wall on the US border with Mexico – and have Mexico pay for it – by vulgarly refusing to do so.







“I’m not going to pay for that fucking wall! He should pay for it. He’s got the money,” Fox said.



Following the outburst, Trump then asked for an apology from the former president – and got one, along with an invitation to visit Mexico.








Speaking exclusively with Breitbart, Fox apologized.



“I apologize. Forgiveness is one of the greatest qualities that human beings have, is the quality of a compassionate leader. You have to be humble. You have to be compassionate. You have to love thy neighbor,” he said.







“I don’t think he should follow the strategy of attacking others, offending others, to get to his purpose. There are other ways and means of doing it,” Fox stated. “I invite him to come to Mexico and to see what Mexico is all about.”

The sort where drool bibs will likely be offered at the door.   Secondly, if God’s omnipresent, how is His presence gonna be especially present on those dates in that place? I don’t get it. But then, I’m no prophet nor the son of a prophet …



In any case, you can join in with other women in God’s “army.”   “God has spoken to our hearts to raise an army and prepare them to gather and minister to His end-time harvest of souls.”   (Cool, as in Nicholas Cage flying a jumbo jet through the rapture kinda cool, I guess.)

Kathi Pelton and Lisa Roitsch round out the event’s prophetic foursome. Kathi is “an author, speaker, and prophetic voice,” too.   Lisa is an ordained minister who “loves to draw people into experiencing their own personal encounters with their heavenly Father in new ways,” cuz, well, frankly, those old Biblical ways are just too dull and boring, one reckons.

“We’ve had the power of God poured out in our meetings.” That’s nice. “Women who’ve experienced miraculous healing,” those who have gained “freedom from demonic strongholds in their minds and families,” and others apparently testify that similar events have yielded an “increase and degree of spiritual encounters.” “Visions, dreams, and prophetic revelations” from the Holy Spirit abound!  And all for just $40 bucks, folks.  (These claims, of course, are staggeringly impressive when you consider that the last bonafide revelation we know of was from a bonafide, hand-picked by Jesus apostle imprisoned on a first-century island penitentiary.  Oh, didn’t God via John mention something in that LAST revelatory book about adding to or taking away?  Yeah, I thought so.)



From digital Donna and her illicit weight-loss prophetic declarations to the Women of Impact assembling in a vision rich army of the Lord, the days we live in demand one thing … discernment. While these particular Holy Ghost attractions are aimed at women, charlatanry is, we know, a gender neutral initiative.



You won’t find a Berean bellying up to the Gig Harbor Holy Ghost–fest or registering for a divine drop-a-pound of belly fat by online prayer class.
